Це була дійсно класна книга, поки що найкраща в серії для мене. Нарешті немає тупих повторів на півкниги. Захисний та турботливий чоловік, сильна та запальна жінка. Було багато веселих моментів, було ще більше скла і трохи екшену.
Минуле Делфі просто жесть, ситуація з Тео - ще одна жесть. Було важко читати все це і я чесно була дуже зла на байкерів, але під кінець наче все вирівнялось.
Мені не вистачило розділів з минулого, хотілося би побачити взаємодію Крюгера з Делфі, коли і як він її покохав. І листи мене теж не дуже вразили.

Це найкраща книга в серії (на даний момент, принаймні).
Ми отримали дуже сильну героїню. Делфі стільки всього пережила. Я навіть не могла подумати про всі ті речі.....про які вона навіть не знала. Як вона вижила.....я не знаю. І я дуже рада що Крюгер віддав всього себе їй. Це дуже захисний і турботливий чоловік. В книзі є і над чим і посміятись і поплакати. Та зрештою всі отримали по заслугах. Хтось кулю в єбало, а хтось своє «довго і щасливо».
Ми отримали дуже сильну героїню. Делфі стільки всього пережила. Я навіть не могла подумати про всі ті речі.....про які вона навіть не знала. Як вона вижила.....я не знаю. І я дуже рада що Крюгер віддав всього себе їй. Це дуже захисний і турботливий чоловік. В книзі є і над чим і посміятись і поплакати. Та зрештою всі отримали по заслугах. Це дійсно поки найкраща книга в серії.
Крюгер абсолютно не бісив, як для байкера, а Делфі - сильна і розумна жінка 🔥
Тут і смішні моменти (гумор Делфі і як бісився Крюгер), і звісно болючі 💔
Делфі - скільки вона пережила, це жах. Так я думала на половині книги, а після розмови з Блейдом скажу - то пиздець, вона дуже сильна 😫
Крюгер - захисний, вірний, гіпер турботливий чоловік, такого ще пошукай. Як він давав простір, час щоб Делфі прийшла в себе, то 😍. Писав їй листи, коли вона була ще не його, і не віддав, не думав що він заслуговує на неї 💔
А ця весільна сукня аааааааа це так мило

Це одна із найкращих частин серії. І це не перебільшення. Тут зійшлось усе: і круті герої, і сама сюжетна лінія, і жарти, і сльози. Але все по-порядку.
Наскільки крутими є Делфі і Крюгер.
Крюгер є прикладом ідеального партнера, що піклується, але не душить, не змушує змінюватись, а приймає такою, як є. І завдяки йому, Делфі знову відчує жагу до життя, а не просто існування. Можна довго розписувати, як він про неї піклувався, але краще прочитайте це самостійно, воно того варте 🤌
Делфі - вона просто моя героїня в усіх сенсах цього слова! Приклад крутої, сильної жінки, що попри всі життєві повороти, змогла віднайти себе і своє життя. А повірте це було не просто!
Я дуже рада, що авторка їй подарувала Тео. Він те, що вона шукала, бо була мамою без дитини, а Тео - син, якому потрібна була така мама як Делфі.
Дуже емоційний фінал. Їх весілля це просто і сльози, і сміх. Я рада, що тут не було солодко, що аж зводить. Але достойний фінал книжки.
Але в найкращих традиціях Кендіс вже нам підкидає сюжети майбутніх книжок🤭
Гадаю, про Амброза і Сіті будуть ще ті емоційні гойдалки. А інтрига з Ліл 👀
Також, я все таки рада, що цей клуб виявився з хорошими байкерами. Що авторка змогла вивернути сюжет так, що Блейд виявився не винним, але то було жорстоко і тяжко!
І окремо хочу відзначити гумор та діалоги. При чому і другорядних героїв також. Дуже багато легких, смішних моментів. Мені цього не вистачало в попередніх двох історіях.

The story has that strong “what could’ve been” feeling, with characters reconnecting and dealing with past choices, regrets, and unresolved feelings. The chemistry is there, but it’s layered with tension and history, which makes everything feel more intense.
I liked how the past and present are connected, slowly revealing what went wrong and why things ended the way they did. Some parts are predictable, but the emotional moments still hit.

Ця фраза закарбувалася в мені від початку книги. Всі слова про те, які вони сильні і стільки всього пережили і подолали, для виживших — пустий звук. І це правда. Ніхто так не знецінює себе і не бачить власний стержень, як такі люди.
Важко зрозуміти, але можна спробувати прожити чужу історію крізь такі книги, як ця.
Делфі та Крюгер — чудові персонажі, до яких важко не привʼязатись. Двоє зламаних, але надзвичайно стійких героїв, які нарешті отримують щасливий кінець. А коли вони зустріли Тео, я була так рада за них. 💔
Ця історія не лише про пережитий біль і безліч травм. Вона також про те, що сімʼя — не обовʼязково та, де ти народився, а яку обрав ти сам.

This is the 5th book in this brilliant series and after the way the last one left off I was sssoooo looking forward to this one and Delphi's story!
Oh my heart broke for Delphi She had been betrayed by the person that supposedly loved her and thrown away by those she considered her chosen family. Her husband may have betrayed his MC, the Ravel Souls but they tarnish he as being just like him and chase her out of town burning her home to the ground. She hit rock bottom and now she has picked the pieces up of her life she is being thrown back into the Raven Souls world and is hoping she survives this time!
Kruger has been in love with Delphi the whole time and after making a colossal mistake when it comes to her, now she's back he is going to do whatever it takes to make her his, to put her first like she should have been! With the MC also trying to make amends and show that they were wrong she just may be able to heal.
As always Candace wrights a brilliant story filled with tension, suspense, darkness, betrayal, found family, loyalty, friendships and so much red hot chemistry making this another must read!

For the first time I did not enjoy this book in Candice’s MC series.
It was just bleh. Had none of the good parts that usually counteract all the cringe and predictable story lines. Meant it was hard to keep focus when it just wouldn’t end and you realised you still had like 40% left (insert eyeroll). I think there was literally 3 sex scenes throughout the whole book that were vanilla as. And don’t get me started on the ridiculous man with the bomb at the end!? Like why!?! Made absolutely ZERO sense. Tough read overall.

Let me preface this by saying that I truly loved this book, we learned some of Delphi’s story in the previous book All That Glitters (another great book in my opinion) so we already knew that she was the kind of woman who was willing to sacrifice herself in order to protect her friend, but in In Another Life we learn so much more about everything that led up to the grenade sacrifice.
It’s hard to know where exactly to start with this book review, logically I should start at the beginning where Delphi experiences one of the worst days of her life but her past and present are all mixed up with each other so much had happened to her in a reasonably short amount of time that the simple fact that she was still standing tall, still protecting the people she loves and still at her core Delphi is a miracle.
I wont go into detail about how much exactly Delphi suffered as I don’t want to give spoilers and its much better to read it organically as she’s telling her story herself. But needless to say she suffered hit after hit after hit, and yet the fact that she was not only surviving but fighting strong truly showed the strength and the depth of her character. Delphi was betrayed first by the man she loved, then by the people she called family so she rebuilt from the ground up, despite her overwhelming pain and loss only for it to be cruelly taken away again. You’d think that would be enough to break her, but no she continued to fight, first for herself, then for Theo, who was also suffering at the hands of the people who should have loved him. She might not have been his biological mother but she was absolutely his mother in heart.
Then we have Krueger, the man who has loved Delphi from afar for as long as he has known her, from being the old lady of one of his MC brothers through her perceived betrayal, and still now. Seeing him care for Delphi in the way that she deserves to be cared for and loving her in the way that she deserves to be loved is truly beautiful and watching their connection grow and expand further into an unshakable, unbreakable bond was fantastic after seeing Delphi suffer so much loss. Throw in the banter and side characters (Legs’ one liners were by far my favourites) and you’ve got the makings of a great MC romance book. I will say there are some pretty heavy topics and dark situations in the book and some of the betrayals that have yet to be uncovered will leave you gasping, while some of the heartbreaking realisations for both Krueger and Delphi will likely have you reaching for the tissues. It’s a great book, with a great plot and just a touch of spice to finish it up.

Another great book in this multi series of strong women forced to survive after awfulness done to to by others (that she trusted), I like that characters from previous books & multi series are included ❤️
🪦☠️ I think she must have been a retired reaper in a previous life, that’s why they don’t take her to the underworld, she’s supposed to live!!❤️🩹
Del’s hilarious with her self-honesty moments:
“I have the directional skills of an opossum on meth” 😆😆🤣 -or- “I have as much grace as a drunk elephant on roller skates” 🛼🐘🛼
Lots of soul crushing, horrible, disgusting & awful things happens to poor Del 💔
😢I’m sorry for her, that they don’t let her keep her version of her husband, but, she was owed the truth too… happy for some happy times for her, as time to move on ❤️
💌Loved the letters, Kruger was a surprising guy!!
Theo got lucky with finding Del, she definitely proved her MamaBear skills have nothing to do with blood, just love & protection 🥰
I would have liked to know how she survived after her house went up in flames (the first time) and how she got the diner 🧐🤔😶
I already loved Dels character, this was just perfect way of showing her fight instinct…yet again:

пробачте, дівчата, але ця частина не зачепила ☹️
мабуть, не трапила в настрій або вже приїлась серія, але і без цього в мене купа питань до лл та сюжету.
можливо, я повинна була відчути більше хімії між крюгером та делфі в попередній книзі, яку я пропустила, але в цій динаміка їхніх стосунків не сподобалася. все якось ніяк - не відчувала ні іскор, ні напруги, не було періоду залицянь чи протиріч. крюгер просто усе життя кохав делфі, а вона, після втрати свого чоловіка, просто дозволила йому бути з нею. і далі чисто поведінка подружжя, яке вже пів життя в шлюбі 🥴

можливо, я повинна була відчути більше хімії між крюгером та делфі в попередній книзі, яку я пропустила, але в цій динаміка їхніх стосунків не сподобалася. все якось ніяк - не відчувала ні іскор, ні напруги, не було періоду залицянь чи протиріч. крюгер просто усе життя кохав делфі, а вона, після втрати свого чоловіка, просто дозволила йому бути з нею. і далі чисто поведінка подружжя, яке вже пів життя в шлюбі 🥴

In Another Life - Candice Wright
Oh my god did it feel like this book tore me to ribbons before tying me right back up again. I have loved this series and all of Candice’s MC romance books but I think…no I KNOW Delphi and Kruger’s story has now become one of my all time favorite love stories.
I know this is a MC romance but what I loved most about this book was it honestly didn’t focus on them, sure the dynamic of the MC was their but ultimately this was Delphi’s journey. Man I wanted to reach through the book and give this woman a hug! She has been through so much but she has fought so hard to carve out a space that is just hers, she is not just going to forgive and forget what they did to her. She held them accountable and didn’t fall into the “club business” trap again, if it was about her or who she cared about she made it “Delphi’s business”.
Kruger became one of my top book boyfriends only about a couple of chapters in. He recognizes his past mistakes, accepts them and then does something about them. THAT is a man. He has always been in love with Delphi but was never in a position to do something about it so he settled in the background. Years later he is done letting the past control his future and he won’t stop at anything to do and be whatever Delphi needs of him.
This story is about second chances, righting wrongs, staying true to yourself and above all healing. Delphi and Kruger will live rent free in my head for a very long time and I am not mad about it.
With all of that being said if you want to read this book do your research and check the trigger warnings because your mental health matters too babes.

Candice Wright just devastated me, totally ripped me to shreds, then slowly rebuilt me. Just when I thought my heart was healing, another heartbreaking moment came along and crushed me. Big, fat, ugly tears poured down my cheeks, blurring the words on the page. The anguish, heartbreak, and gut-clenching suffering of Delphi drag you into her perspective. All I wanted was to hug her, give her the comfort and support she so dearly needed. In Another Life has to be the most complex story in this series that I've read, but also the most endearing. You fall in love with Delphi's character, wishing her life would turn the corner and give her everything denied to her, pouring sunshine, sweetness, and love into her bleak darkness.
Poor Delphi can't seem to catch a break. Her past was horrible, haunting her every waking moment, her daily shames stoked by memories that would break a lesser woman. The strength that carries her through each revelation is enough to sustain ten bikers, yet packaged in one small woman. And the man who would claim her would bear each lash doled out to her to protect her. Kruger has stood by and watched the love of his life shatter time and time again. The line between love and hate is fine, and no better example of this appears than Kruger's realization: to bury the dark past and build a bright future with Delphi once atoning for the betrayal. The blows these two must overcome are heart-wrenching and soul-destroying. Only the strength of their love will stand as the future foundation of a family and a well-deserved peace. Delphi and Kruger's HEA has to be the hardest-won but most deserved in this series, and it will live forever in my heart.

All these people have something in common, something I don’t have — someone to share the burden. Out of everything, that’s what I struggle with the most. Losing Lee was gut-wrenching, especially when I found out that the man I loved was a monster. But to lose the family I’d been so entrenched with, who should have been the ones to pull me through what was arguably the worst time of my life, was devastating. I went from having the whole world in the palm of my hand to feeling like an insignificant speck in the universe. Loneliness wove its way into my bones and took root, anchoring me in place as everyone else moved on with their lives.
Looking back now, I can’t pinpoint when I broke free. It wasn’t a simple process of snapping the roots that bound me and swinging away. Neither grief nor healing is a linear thing. Sometimes I crawled forward at a snail’s pace, sometimes I curled up in a ball and didn’t move for days. There were even times when I went backward, when the guilt and anguish dragged me under and buried me alive. For so long, death seemed like it would be my only escape from my dark, intrusive thoughts and harbored feelings of failure. I don’t know how long it took to claw my way back out. I love the Underestimated series so much that the events of that evening in Crown of Fools are easily recollected. I remember all of it, but I never knew how much I needed to have the behind the scenes or the aftermath and consequences of the chaos that Snake and Bear had created. And I had no idea how much Delphi’s story needed to be told.
I was absolutely enraged by the treatment that she received that night and after. When the truth was finally revealed, I was eviscerated. By the depravity that occurred and it becoming the reason they felt they had to banish her. I cried, felt pain for her and devastation unlike anything else before.
The things done to her and all she endured are more than any person would want to survive… but she did.
Candice again has written a FMC that is unmatched in her strength to survive and thrive with literally the clothes on her back and a heart broken beyond repair.
Krueger finally getting his chance to prove to her that his love and affection is genuine and she deserves all the good things was exactly the pace it needed to be for someone that had groveling to do and for a woman with no faith left in anyone. Watching Delphi let her guard down to try and trust what he is showing her is real and she is not going to left stranded and alone is powerful, because no matter what he does, it is all up to her. All of these things took time and were beautiful to watch. The letters… had me emotionally wrecked in the best way.
I cried so much in this story. It was beautiful and devastating. I don’t feel like we’ve been in such a dark place since Heir of Shadows.
So much history, and I loved all the cameos we got because of that.
Candice, I am always impressed by your stories and I absolutely love this world. Each time you bring us another character to get attached to or reintroduce us to them, you surprise us with a story we never saw coming and I LOVE it.

Oh, Del, how I wanna steal you away and marry you myself! Seriously, Del is just everything. She was betrayed over and over again by people who should have stood by her. By the person she loved most and who she thought loved her. Yet every time she got knocked down, she pushed back up again. Del's story will tear you up. Once you think you know the worst, you'll get hit in the gut again. I don't know how someone who was hurt as much as she was could possibly ever trust people again, but she still gave her heart away to be there for others. I'm not sure there's anyone on this earth good enough for Delphine Anders. Kruger better work hard every day of his life to be worthy of even a morsel of her goodness.
I'm so glad Theo became family. And I loved seeing Sunshine and her fellas. I was so scared I was gonna find out something to make me be livid with Blade that I couldn't come back from, and I definitely wasn't happy with him, but he did it out of a very misplaced sense of doing the right thing.
This book only reminded me how I NEED ANOTHER BOOK WITH SUNSHINE AND HER GUYS, CANDICE. PLEASE. And Del can certainly be in it too because she's right up there at the top of the list of my favorite characters you've written.
I need time to heal from this story, but I'll certainly be reading it again.

If you’ve read anything by Candice Wright before, you know how she has a way of throat punching you from the get-go and putting back the broken pieces of your heart enough to have it funtion but there are a lot of jagged edges that will never fit properly again.
This book, however, without giving too much away, the book is tame compared to her previous works until… she comes out of literally nowhere and not only throat punches you, but drives the knife right into your back. You feel safe reading this and then. BAM!!! She slugs you. Am I here for it? Absolutely!!!
Kruger is harboring a secret he’s kept close to the cut for years. Del is trying to rebuild her life that has been destroyed over and over again, and being asked to trust the club that betrayed her is damn near impossible.

This is a well written action packed, emotional roller coaster, with found family, friendships, danger, suspense, intrigue, determination, lies, betrayal, secrets, friends / enemies / lovers, vengeance, challenges, forced proximity, redemption, second chances, off the charts chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, tragic, haunting, twisted, and unpredictibale, addictive page turner.

Absolutely Broke me !! Please be advised to read the trigger warnings before delving into this book 📚
From fractured pasts, to new beginnings this story sets a blazing trail through deceit that is so thick it takes a while for the puzzle pieces to slot into the right places.
The heartbreak Del endured because of a jealous conversation overheard by snake about Del and Kruger having a crush on her. I can’t remember the book that bombshell was dropped but it picks up in this book. You already see Kruger stepping up in Midas and legs book. The absolute devastation this poor women went through at the hands of snake ! I wanted to reach through the pages to kill him myself !! and then she had lost everything not once but twice when everything she owned goes up inflames her memories and livelihood too which was covered in Midas and Legs story.
This story had me sobbing 😭 so hard I woke up like I had a hangover 😵 and let’s not mention the state my face was in from all the crying. I’m so happy that this story ended the way it did, Del and Kruger were defo a power couple that no one should mess with and the blossoming young Lad Theo ! I think he will break a few hearts too. I’m sure he will have a strong friendship with Con too what Absolute legend with a heart of gold we see some more of him in the next story with Citti and Star ⭐️. I have read every book series Candice wright has thrown out and let me tell this one does not disappoint.

I knew going into this one that there’s was so much more to Delphi’s story. I also knew it wasn’t going to be good, but man I was not prepared for the devastation that her story brought. This series is one of my all time favorites and the way Candice tells a story will shatter, shock, and rebuild you every time. Delphi went through more than she ever knew, and Krueger loved her since the moment he met her. I smiled, laughed, cried, sobbed, and was very angry while reading this. It wouldn’t be a Candice book if you didn’t visit every emotion. These men spend all their time groveling and the women don’t back down. They could single handedly run the world and we love that energy. This woman blew herself up, killed, protected, forgave, and became a queen for her found family. Never asked for anything in return. Kruger became every thing she deserved in the world and showed her that she can always depend on him no matter what. My favorite line in this book is “I’m your something new.” I can’t wait for everyone to read this book.

it’s ok… not a standalone read
Honestly I was lost by the second chapter. It starts off with the FL having a nice loving moment and it’s her biker husband and when he has to leave for a meeting it’s kinda like he’s saying goodbye. Then a little into the drama of what happened and why the club turned on her and the FL just lost walking around cause she couldn’t believe what was happening. Then all of a sudden a big time jump that has me confused throughout the whole thing. I haven’t been with this series from the beginning I have read book 3 The First Cut that one I wasn’t confused at all I loved it but with this one I feel like you have to read book 4 because this isn’t a standalone read like it says. Maybe if I went and stopped reading book 5 and started book 4 but I didn’t I pushed through then I would have liked it like everybody else but since it did say it can be read ass a standalone I gave it a try, especially since boom 3 wasn’t confusing like this one was. That’s why I gave it 3 stars

I haven’t been with this series from the beginning I have read book 3 The First Cut that one I wasn’t confused at all I loved it but with this one I feel like you have to read book 4 because this isn’t a standalone read like it says. Maybe if I went and stopped reading book 5 and started book 4 but I didn’t I pushed through then I would have liked it like everybody else but since it did say it can be read ass a standalone I gave it a try, especially since boom 3 wasn’t confusing like this one was. That’s why I gave it 3 stars

One day, that’s all it took me to absolutely devour Candice’s latest addition to her Raven’s Soul series. I think this one is going to hit a little different than the others, I mean all our favorite characters are there, but this one (to me), focuses more on Delphi than the Club. For me watching Delphi work through her trauma was heartbreaking, but it also shows her coming out on the other side, and yes Kruger is there throughout it all, but she is the hero in her story. It’s her strength through it all that makes her one of my favorite FMCs of Candice’s.
With all that being said, you are still going to get some suspense, some questions that hopefully will be answered in future books, and all heat you could ask for. I have read ALL of Candice’s books (and there are a lot) and I will keep reading whatever she writes because I know that they are going to be compelling, entertaining and the perfect escape. What more can you ask for?

OMG, Candice is seriously not holding back with this series. Every single book just proves how wrong I am for judging some of her characters too early. I go in with opinions, and then I read their stories and end up feeling so guilty for ever doubting them. 🙈
If I could, I would 100% hug Delphi and apologize in person, because that woman has been through absolute hell and came out stronger on the other side. She’s officially my new favorite FMC in Candice’s world, right up there with Lola. 🙌🏼
And Kruger? He was amazing. Completely all in from the start, and the way he patiently worked to earn Delphi’s trust and love was just… wow!
I won’t spoil anything, but please, please read the trigger warnings 🚨 this book isn’t for everyone. That said, if you do pick it up, you’re going to love it. I already can’t wait to see whose story is next and dive right back into this world.

OMGOSH!!!!!!
This book is everything!!!!! Oh Kruger you jumped up to the top of the list. I loved him!!!! He is up there with Havoc. I will admit Blade was better here. I was mad at first but got it later. And our fmc Del was AMAZING!!!!! Omgosh she was everything. Thru the she handled everything. Her love with all she been thru. Showing forgiveness to the club. And oh my heart. THEO!!! I cried. He is amazing. I was so happy for their ending. This book was amazing. I had Havoc up on top I loved his book. But this one took its place. I will have to put Havoc book 2nd. I loved everything about this book. Amazing ❤️❤️❤️👏👏👏. I wish Lola could’ve been this amazing but Nope she is my least fav of all the fmc. READ THIS BOOK YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! It’s emotional read. Get your tissue ready. With all our fmc goes thru and Theo.

Ідея показати стосунки «зрадниці» МК і зраненого, але турботливого героя, який роками її кохав, стосунки на початку напівпримусові (привіт Ганнібале) які потім переростають в щось інше була цікавою. А от реалізація мені не сподобалась.
Делфі сильна героїня, світ якої знищено достоту (і не перший раз) має багато гніву і злості на МК, але варто їй опинитись поруч з Крюгером, вона не надто вже і старається не йти по граблях минулого. Хімія, яка на самому початку між героями була триває, на жаль, недовго і стосунки з ненависті і під примусом - хоп - і вже стосунки людей, які ніби вже 100 год в шлюбі, і це вбило для мене весь потенціал. Крюгер, серйозно налажав, але тут ніде правди дітей, намагається реабілітуватися завзято і наполегливо. Лінія з Тео мені не сподобалась, вона видалась зайвою і якоюсь пласкою і найбільша притензія рівень драми заради драми. Він зашкалює, і в наступній частині просто залетить до небес так що це чтиво точно під відповідний настрій

Oh wow Candice, do you know how to write one emotional rollercoaster of a book. Delphi and Kruger are an amazing couple in every possible way. This book surpassed every expectation I had. Delphi deserved so much more from all of them and has to be one of the strongest women you’ve written. But, Kruger does a fine job of making me swoon.

This series just keeps getting better, with all the different characters coming together throughout. I never want them to leave! The women in this series have become some of my favorites! Amity & Neveah are hilarious & should be featured in all of your books, with their shenanigans. 🤣😂
