Delaney All I wanted was to get my ex off my back. I didn’t know that by kissing him I was opening Pandora's box. Tank. The enforcer for the Saint’s Outlaw’s MC in Pensacola. He is so much more than I could have ever imagined though. The closer I get to him, the more I start to wonder if I have been sheltering myself from what could be. I want to fall into all that we could be, but there’s something holding me back. Will I be willing to put it all on the line in order to be with him?
Tank No woman has ever been up to the task of pleasing me the way I like. I expected no different when she kissed me. Delaney Harris. She’s supposed to be a good girl. Everything I shouldn’t want, but when she commands me, I ache to follow. I have everything I never knew I wanted in my fingertips when he takes it all away. He doesn’t know who he messed with though. I will eradicate him from both our lives even if it kills me.
Cala Riley, better known as Cala and Riley, are a pair of friends with a deep seated love of books and writing. Both Cala and Riley are happily married and each have children, Cala with the four-legged kind while Riley has a mixture of both two-legged and four. While they live apart, that does not affect their connection. They are the true definition of family. What started as an idea that quickly turned into a full-length book and a bond that will never end.
This book is completely different than other MC romance books I have read, and honestly, it was really refreshing. After reading Tank's backstory, I immediately felt sad. He had fully convinced myself that he wasn't worthy of love. Then enter Delaney with a bang.
Delaney quickly discovers a side to herself that she didn't know existed, and it matches everything that Tank wants. When her past comes back to haunt her, Tank quickly steps up as her shield. Scary in the streets, submissive in the sheets!
This book was addicting, and I flew through it. I really hope that we get Acid's story sometime down the road.
Review of advance copy received from Cala + Riley. All opinions are my own!
Well, well… nobody can say the writing duo of Cala Riley don’t know how to deliver a storyline you never saw coming!
I honestly don’t think anyone could have predicted what was waiting for us in the fourth deliciously addictive outing in the Science Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter. Even the prologue of Tank’s Weakness didn’t prepare me for what was to come!
From the moment Delaney walks up to Tank, both their lives are about to change forever. She’s looking for a way to put some distance between herself and her ex, and Tank becomes the man she chooses to help her do just that. She may look like the sweet schoolteacher, but what develops between these two is anything but what you might expect—and their chemistry behind closed doors is seriously off the charts!
And that is only one side of this story.
Be prepared for the heat, because you’re really going to need a cold drink with this one! The passion between Tank and Delaney is off the charts, and their dynamic brings an unexpected intensity to their story. But what I loved most is that Cala Riley don’t just give us a red-hot romance; they also weave in a suspense element that keeps you guessing and had me on the edge of my seat.
There’s something incredibly addictive about a book that manages to surprise you, give you characters you become invested in, deliver chemistry you can practically feel through the pages, and still keep you turning those pages because you absolutely have to know what happens next.
Tank’s Weakness is a brilliant mixture of red-hot heat, something completely different, unexpected moments and great suspense. It’s the kind of MC romance that grabs your attention and refuses to let go.
If you’re looking for something a little different from your usual MC romance, with plenty of passion, an intriguing storyline and enough suspense to keep you hooked, this is definitely one to add to your TBR.
Cala Riley have once again proved that when you think you know what you’re getting, they can completely surprise you—and that’s exactly what makes Tank’s Weakness such an unputdownable read.
Tank & Delaney are so good! These two were the perfect match!
Delaney crashes into Tank’s life trying to escape her creepy ex one night and nothing is ever the same.
Tank is a submissive - I loved this twist and his POV on it. He is hesitant to tell others, but when he opens up to Delaney it’s like a weight lifted from his shoulders. She was his safe place.
Delaney has never explored much and her ex’s words left a mark in her mind. Tank allows her to regain her control in and out of the bedroom. She fully plays into the part and it was amazing.
When her ex starts wreaking havoc in her life then into the club’s business, Tank knows he must protect her at all costs. When everything comes to a head, I love how the club really showed up for Delaney and Tank.
I absolutely love the found family aspect of this book! Delaney with the old ladies was a perfect mesh of characters. Jagger and Tank’s bantering, Gunner grunting at every turn while Smoke is just happy to be with his old lady and Acid is my shining star - the club is one of my favorites.
Thanks Cala Riley for this ARC in exchange for my honest review.
This man is such a contradiction. He’s tough yet soft. He dominates a room yet craves submission.
Have you ever met a submissive MC member before? Well now you have. Let me introduce you to Tank. Now I know what you’re thinking. You want your MC member to be manly, alpha and possessive and trust me Tank is still all of those things… outside of the bedroom.
This spicy scenes in this book were pure fire and it was refreshing to read the power exchange between the main characters.
I’d live on my knees for a chance to worship at your altar.
Once again, Cala Riley shows you that you never know what they are going to bring to the table and I am absolutely here for it.
I loved this so much! It was refreshing to see a big, bad biker give control to his partner. So hot. I'm also hopeful for an Acid book!
Remember to check your triggers. We get a glimpse into Tank's childhood, and it was not good.
While trying to get away from her ex, Delaney spots Tank and walks right up to him and demands that he kiss her. And Tank likes this.
And after spending a little time with Delaney and learning about her relationship, he offers her a deal. He'll give her full control of all their encounters until she's had enough. She agrees.
But her past is coming back to haunt her, and Tank is there to help her in any way he can.
Thanks so much to the authors for this ARC to review.
Tanks book was nothing like I expected & also I’ve never read one like it. Honestly it was a bit empowering as a woman to read it & put yourself in Delaney’s shoes as she figured out how to be a strong, confident woman. As always the characters were extremely likeable & oftentimes lovable. (Acid I’m looking at you!) There were a few moments that weren’t for me but they definitely didn’t take anything away from what a great read it was. It was all a part of their story & that made it perfect. The overall storyline was intense & really shined a light on the broken system when it comes to reporting stalking. I’m looking forward to more stories from this world because I love this MC!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Not your typical MC dynamic but I loved reading Tank and Delaney’s story so much I couldn’t put it down. Finished it in a day which isn’t typical for me. I think because it wasn’t your typical dynamic that is what had me sucked into their story. Even though Tank’s past possibly shaped the way he is, it was also because of Delaney and it helped her find who she is. I honestly did not want their story to end. Loved them so much and all the found family vibes between Delaney and Tank but also the rest of the club and the old ladies. Can’t wait for the next book!
Story: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Trope: good boy Angst: 😱😱1\2 Smexy: 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I thought this book was super hot. The storyline was good and moved quickly. And there was a good balance between the smexy times and the action and suspense. Even if you think this is a little outside of your comfort zone I'd highly recommend you give it a try!
I didn’t know how I was gonna feel about this book. I did not think I was into the male being the submissive but I think because Tank is still so manly and he chooses to be vulnerable for Laney it was something I liked. Tank is just so dang lovable, and he’s still so protective but able to show a soft side. However his back story made my heart break. Laney, where to start!!! watching her coming into her own was amazing. She blossomed around Tank and she was still so strong and independent and takes no one’s crap. I love it. As always I love that we still got to interact with and hear about all our other favorite couples and characters. And it ties all the MC clubs together.
Tank and Delaney had great chemistry, with a relationship that blended tenderness, intensity, and suspense. Delaney’s strength and Tank’s protective nature, which was shaped by childhood trauma, gave the characters real depth, while her comfort with control added complexity because of her history with her ex.
The suspense kept the story moving without overshadowing the romance, making this an entertaining read.
At this point, I should probably stop declaring that every new Cala Riley MMC is my favorite, because apparently all I have to do is wait for their next book for him to be immediately replaced. 😂
And this time?
Tank just took the top spot.
What Cala Riley did with Tank and Delaney was so different from what I expected—not only from these authors, but from MC romance in general—and I absolutely loved it. After reading so many books in this genre, finding something that genuinely feels fresh isn't always easy, but Tank's Weakness managed to give me exactly that.
My heart broke for Tank incredibly early in the story.
For everyone else, he's the Enforcer. He's intimidating, powerful, and completely capable of handling whatever comes his way. But underneath that exterior is a man who has convinced himself that what he needs from a relationship means he might never find a woman capable of truly accepting all of him.
There is a vulnerability to Tank that I wasn't expecting, and it made me fall ridiculously hard for him.
And then there's Delaney.
I loved her.
What makes their relationship so interesting is that Tank doesn't simply introduce Delaney to something new—being with him gives her the freedom to discover a part of herself she didn't fully realize was there. She starts figuring out what she wants, what she needs, and what feels right for her without being made to feel like any of those things need justification.
Watching them discover that side of themselves together was probably my favorite part of the entire book.
There is so much openness between them. They communicate, they trust each other, and neither of them has to pretend to be something they're not. Their dynamic feels surprisingly natural because instead of trying to fit into traditional expectations of what their relationship should look like, they create something that works specifically for them.
I also absolutely loved the contrast Cala Riley created between who Tank and Delaney are in their everyday lives and the sides of themselves they reveal privately. It's almost the exact opposite of what you would expect from both of them based purely on appearances and their roles, and that contrast made them even more interesting as individual characters and as a couple.
But this is still a Saint's Outlaws MC book, so their relationship isn't happening inside a peaceful little bubble.
Delaney's ex brings the danger, tension and angst, and once again Cala Riley found that balance that works so well for me. The external plot actually matters and creates real stakes without swallowing the romance. At the same time, the romance doesn't push the MC storyline into the background.
Neither side has to sacrifice the other.
And that's something these authors consistently do incredibly well.
The Pensacola family is also present exactly as much as I wanted them to be. We get the brotherhood, loyalty, protection and interactions that make an MC series feel interconnected without taking attention away from Tank and Delaney's story.
That's ultimately why this book worked so incredibly well for me. It gave me something unexpected while still delivering everything I've come to love about Cala Riley's MC romances: characters I become attached to, genuine emotion, danger, angst, found family, chemistry and a relationship that feels like it belongs specifically to these two people.
Tank thought finding someone who could understand and accept everything he needed might be impossible.
Turns out he simply needed Delaney.
And Delaney needed Tank to discover that the woman she thought she was wasn't necessarily all that she could be.
They don't change each other.
They give each other the freedom to be completely themselves.
And I absolutely loved them for it.
Another fantastic addition to the Saint's Outlaws universe—and yes, until Cala Riley inevitably prove me wrong with their next book, Tank is officially my favorite. 😂❤️
Tank’s Weakness is the fourth book in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter series by Cala Riley. This is an usual and different type of MC romance between Tank, the MC’s enforcer and Delaney who he unexpectedly meets one night. Whoever thought an elementary school teacher and a tough biker could bring so much spice and passion. She turns his life upside down and makes him want things he thinks he doesn’t deserve. He turns out to be everything she never knew she wanted. While we follow their interesting romance, the authors add in some mystery and suspense. Delaney has problems with her ex, there is MC drama for Tank and some strange incidents turn out to have a connection to both of them.
Tank had a terrible childhood and at eighteen he escaped and found the MC. Twelve years later he is minding his own business when Delaney comes crushing into his life. Delaney is having issues with her ex who won’t accept she has broken up with him. After a night out with her best friend Erica, he suddenly confronts her. She can’t believe his audacity so pretends she has a new boyfriend. Luckily for her standing outside a bar just happens to be Tank. He is obviously a biker but she finds the courage to go up to him. Tank is shocked by her demanding him to kiss her but plays the boyfriend part well as she’s just his type. They go for a drink and it is the start of something neither expected. They chat and tell each other things they’ve never told anyone else. She admits some issues she has and he offers to help her out. She finds his confidence appealing so takes him up on his offer and this leads to an interesting night at a hotel.
He likes she is bossy because he likes being dominated. He is determined to fulfil her fantasies and realises she needs to have control over the situation when being intimate. These two ignite the pages as soon as Tank shows her what having control over him is like. She had never considered being dominant in the bedroom and is shocked this huge biker is submissive . He is a great enforcer, loyal and protective but with her we see his gentle and vulnerable side. She can’t believe how sweet and charming he is. I loved how seriously she takes her new role and I laughed at all the things she bought to experiment with Tank. She certainly puts the poor guy through some torturous moments which were very entertaining. They make each other happy so Tank is hopeful things will progress. He enjoys being able to be himself around her and loves how it is helping her but will she stay, give him a chance and accept his MC lifestyle.
I loved how everyone teased him over Delaney and when he admits his hidden secret, they all totally accepted his choice. I adored Jagger, he was so funny and Acid was a sweetheart. It was nice catching up with everyone else and how they supported Delaney and made her so welcome. There is concern when Delaney starts having issues both at work and home. Then the club becomes involved when unusual events start happening. When things escalate for both Delaney and the MC, how far will Tank go to keep her and his brothers safe. An incident becomes a nightmare for the couple and I felt awful for Tank. What will be the consequences of his actions. Will Delaney stay or will it all be too complicated for her now.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading about a powerful man submit to a strong confident woman. They were both so considerate and kind to each other. It was lovely how their love developed and grew despite the challenges they faced. This was an interesting twist for an MC story and it turned out to be the perfect balance for their relationship.
3.75stars-TANK’S WEAKNESS is the fourth instalment in Cala Riley’s contemporary, adult SAINT’S OUTLAWS MC: PENSACOLA erotic, MC romance series. This is club enforcer Tank aka Warren, and primary school teacher Delaney ‘Laney’ Harris’ story line. TANK’S WEAKNESS can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story lines is revealed where necessary.
NOTE: Due to the nature of the story line premise, there may be triggers for mores sensitive readers.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Tank and Laney) TANK’S WEAKNESS follows the building romance and relationship between our story line couple. Primary school teacher Delaney Harris has a stalker. Her ex-boyfriend refuses to let go, and with it, her personal life is about to affect her professional career. A chance meeting with Saint’s Outlaws MC Enforcer Tank, finds our heroine taking charge, claiming Tank as her own but threats against Laney, and the Saint’s Outlaws MC are getting more aggressive, taking aim at everyone involved.
The world building focuses on obsession and madness. The Saint’s Outlaws MC’s legitimate businesses and those of their significant others have become vulnerable in the wake of one man’s preoccupation, and in this, one of their own, will pay the price.
The relationship between Tank and Laney begins as a rescue, of a sort, as Laney struggles to defend herself against the past but Tank is hoping for something more, something that no other woman has been able to give-an unconventional relationship, with our heroine that sees Tank following the commands of the woman he loves. Tank's teenage years have formed a man whose needs differ from that of others, and in this, our heroine is determined to give Tank what he needs. The $ex scenes are unique and impassioned.
The secondary and supporting characters include the return of several members of the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Pensacola, as well as the introduction of Laney’s friends, co-workers, her ex Blaine, questionable law enforcement, parents and students.
TANK’S WEAKNESS is a story of secrets and lies, obsession and delusion, power and control, dysfunctional family dynamics, acceptance and love. The character driven premise is dramatic and edgy; the romance is unique and atypical.
trigger warnings will be at the bottom of this review, to avoid spoilers MMC is involved in physical altercations on page, FMC in dangerous situation, sexual activities involving minors (in more detail at the bottom), violence towards MC, cheating (not betweens mcs), stalking and revenge ploys, violence on page in detail, arrest with side character in prison, sexual content includes a Dominant and submissive relationship, anal play and flogging.
Cala Riley always just gets me! I officially go into their books blind, just tropes and some quote teasers. So getting tossed into this roller coaster was such a fun time! I loved Tank and Delaney. As individuals, and together. From beginning to end, I truly enjoyed the progression of their bond. It was special, it was personal (it was HOT!) But it was so yummy BECAUSE of what the created between. The respect, acceptance, love, appreciation. They’re each other’s opposites, and the perfect pair. (He called her a queen while he was otherwise indisposed… and I knew he was a goner. And so was I!) can say this with certainty: this is my favorite of the series so far! By now, there’s plenty of side characters to visit and more to get to know. So every moment with a side character was a gift!
My Favorite Quotes: • “If I didn’t want you to f!ck me into the mattress, I wouldn’t be here right now.” • “You’re a g!ddamn queen, so act like it.” • “You are divine. Looking at you. You take my breath away.” • “I’d live on my knees for a chance to worship at your altar.” • “I’ll find you in every lifetime.” • “You are my heart.”
8/10 Dirty Birdy 5/10 Friends to Lovers 7/10 Series
Trigger Warnings include: On going sexual assault and prostitution of a minor described in detail on page. An ex is a stalker who is threatening and dangerous. His rap sheet includes breaking and entering, revenge porn, unlawful termination, kidnapping, a hostage situation. Violence by the MMC involves the murder (in detail on page)
There was so much unnecessary drama (at least for me) surrounding this book simply because Tank is submissive, and honestly, I didn’t see the issue. It doesn’t make him any less of a man. He is still the strong, ruthless MC enforcer outside the bedroom, but he has different preferences when it comes to intimacy, and I loved how the authors handled that side of him without taking away from his masculinity.
Delaney only wanted to get her ex off her back, so she walks up to the first man she sees and asks him to kiss her. Romantic, right? 😂 Her ex was definitely not going to make things easy for her. The stalking, harassment, and the way he kept pushing into her life…
And then there was Tank: protective, possessive, loyal, completely obsessed and gone for Delaney. He was like a "bad boy Greek God". He was so attentive with her, listened to her, trusted her, and paid attention to what she needed. Their relationship wasn’t just about attraction. They learned about each other and gave one another something they both needed. His backstory made my heart ache… it was just awful. 💔 Somehow, he emerged stronger and more ruthless.
Delaney grew so much throughout the story. She became more confident and discovered what she wanted. She met Tank, accepted all of him, stood up for herself, and didn’t let others intimidate her... She found a family in the MC of which the members would do anything for one of their own.
What really got me was the suspense. My heart was racing! I was genuinely worried about what would happen to Tank and Laney and to the club. The danger, the MC brotherhood, and everything happening around them was scary sometimes, as if I was watching a drama series unfolding before me, with a dangerous ex and not-so-helpless MCs.
This was such a refreshing enjoyable MC romance. One of my favorite books by these two authors so far.❤️🏍️
✌️Please read the disclaimer to know of this is your cup of tea.✌️
I have read so many MC books from these authors, and this is the first time they went on a different route with our MMC. It has the exciting elements with suspense, only this time our MMC and FMC have their roles reversed. For me I loved how different it was compared to other books in their MC series.
Tank is the enforcer with the Saints Outlaws who has had a rough childhood as soon as he hit his teens. He goes through things a child should never go through. This has shaped him into the person he is, well, when it comes to certain preferences 🫣 There he was standing outside minding his own business, until this redhead comes up at him…
Delaney is a teacher and has her life on track, or at least she thought so. She ended a relationship, but her ex still stalks her. Trying to get him to stay away from her, she sees Tank, and stalks up to him and claims his lips… and this is the start of their unique relationship.
The chemistry and growth between Tank and Delaney is beautiful. Seeing how they both slowly become the complete person they want to be with help of each other. As Delaney finds out a new side to herself, Tank also finally finds the person he wants to venture this road with without shame. Their 🌶️ is explicit but sweet, kinky yet respectful, playful and intense. It was 🥵.
The storyline is as expected well outlined. The MC club and its members are super lovable, close knit family. The ex thinking he can make problems for them just to get ‘his girl’ back is not a good idea✌️
Enjoyed this different way of portraying an MC club member without losing its masculinity, but rather a view that is different than what I have read from Cala Riley so far!❤️ 5/5⭐️
Firstly I must say thank you for my ARC of this book. These two ladies come together and each book they write is better than the one before and becomes my favorite until I read the next one. This was a 5 star read for me but I honestly wish I could have given it more than 5.
My heart hurt for the young Warren. I don't know how he could have ever loved his mother. He sure did change his life as he became 18. This was what I call reverse submission. The big strong biker guy, tattooed all over to prove a point. Able to kill with his bare hands. Yet, he remains a gentleman in many aspects of his life. His upbringing comes out. Delaney is the sweet innocent teacher with an ex boyfriend from hell.
I love how the story develops. Immediate chemistry between Delaney and Tank. Who would believe the big strong biker man yearns for submission. This was likely as a result of how he grew up so it shouldn't have come as a surprise. Delaney is perfect for Tank. She has strong urges to be in control and to be a dominatrix.
The banter and conversations throughout the book are amazingly well written. The narrative is awesome. Just enough without rambling and losing the interest of the reader.
Fabulous last few chapters and ending and I can't read to the next book by Cala Riley. Would I recommend this one? Absolutely 1000% and the good thing is that it can be read as a stand alone and be perfectly understandable to somebody who has not read prior books in this series. Cala Riley fans are going to swoon and like me, will be sitting patiently waiting to the next book from these two amazing writers.
𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙭𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙩 - mc romance, om drama (stalker ex), teacher x mc enforcer, found family, dominant fmc
—
This book was so different from other Cala and Riley books and it did not disappoint!! I loved seeing a different side of things especially with Delaney being the dominant one in the relationship, this book was just so good. Did I cry in the prologue? Yes but I am just a girl. Tank and Delaney are just freaking everything and more and I love how they just stood by each other no matter what.
Delaney is an elementary school teacher who’s just the best but she’s also being stalked by her ex who’s just an absolute douche bag I hate him so much. I just love Delaney so much and seeing her open up and become so happy with herself and her dominant side was amazing. She’s just so sassy lol
Delaney is trying to get away from her ex after he ambushed her so when she saw tank, she went up to him and kissed him to make her ex go away. These two are so amazing together and they just get each other on so many different levels it was so special to see them open up with each other
Tank is the mc enforcer but his freaking backstory absolutely broke my heart cause no child should ever go through that so I am so glad he got away from his mom and her awful friends and found his family within his mc club. I love tank so much he’s just everything.
My favorite thing about this series has always been the found family and how with each book everyone was so welcoming when it came to the partners it’s always my favorite part. The growth with Delaney and Tank made me feel so warmth about them. And don’t even get me started on their spice!?! Whewww had me fanning myself
Thank You So Much for giving me this incredible arc💖
“A big bad biker who is submissive. Who would have thought?”
Tank is breaking all of the stereotypes! While I much prefer my MC to be the Dom, Cala Riley does an amazing job as always and pulled off the reverse dynamic well. Tank is still a badass biker who protects his woman and family and has the last say when he puts his foot down. But inside the bedroom, Laney is the boss.
Jagger is such a man-child and so upset about 'losing' his best friend and acting out. Especially with how Laney called him out like a child and owned it.
Poor Acid, haha, talk about a blow to the ego. Then he hoes and redeems himself that way, I hope we get his HEA soon, the man's earnt it!
Another great addition to the MC family, there's also appearances from other members, mentions of other chapters' and story arcs from them, particularly Bear and his walls (iykyk).
The family is almost complete, with most of the guys paired up and starting families. Looking forward to seeing if Jagger gets his way with Bertha; or if the new spitfire Erica will tame him. Fox is going to find himself the most unhinged girl because he of course doesn't want the chaos that comes with a woman in his controlled world.
Tank's Weakness isn't like any other book Cala Riley has given their readers. I was intrigued by the teasers, and I was not disappointed when I finished this fascinating book. This is the fourth book in their Saint's Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter and it is a wonderful addition to the series. Between the pages, we are given a story of friendships, found family, and trust. Of course, no Cala Riley MC story would be an MC story without danger and suspense. We have the pleasure of reading about Tank and Delaney. He has had an unusual upbringing at the hands of his cruel and pathetic mother. Delaney, a school teacher, is trying to get away from her ex, but he is not having any of it. So she decides to kiss a stranger who happens to be Tank. This starts an interesting relationship between a man who likes women to control him and a woman who never knew she would like to control men- well, maybe only Tank. The instant attraction and chemistry pulled these two towards one another, and it was as if they were meant to be together. The love and acceptance they shared were beautiful and made this book such a joy to read.
Yay for Lady Dom’s and men who can handle being a VERY satisfying plaything in the bedroom and all kinds of sexy protective and dominant out of it! Seriously though this is a fun one that broke my heart with one totally selfless act from Acid that meant Tank could be with Delaney with no questions hanging over their heads and no repercussions for keeping his lady safe. I love how there’s a playfulness to this read between Delaney and Tank, who have the best meet.. cute? It’s definitely a meet something. And all the ideas the ladies cook up but it also keeps it dangerous and all MC clubby with an over the top obsessed stalker ex and the absolute havoc he wreaks on not only Delaney’s career but half the club. These guys and their ladies are just the best band of brothers, I laughed way more than I thought I would because somehow seeing a grown man who’s also a biker dressed down about his feeling by a kindergarten teacher hits in all the right ways, and I cannot even explain to you how excited I am to see what’s in store for Acid in the future. A solid read from Cala Riley that will definitely having you coming back for more.
This is the fourth book in the series and is quite refreshing as it shows how an alpha male biker can literally be brought to his knees by a woman in the bedroom. Tank was in the right place at the right time when Delaney needed a quick way to shake her ex, who's basically stalking her. She marches up to him and kisses him, claiming he is her new beau. The kiss jolts them both with the instant attraction they feel for one another. Delaney's ex claims she is lacking in the bedroom and Tank steps up to prove him wrong but quickly discovers that Delaney needs control in the bedroom which suits him fine as he likes to be commanded. They strike a deal to give it a trial run so that they each get what they want allowing Delaney to explore and learn what excites them both. Delaney's ex does not go quietly and begins to pay havoc with her life taking away everything she loves but Tank does not stand idly by while she loses everything, in part because she is with a biker. This is an emotional rollercoaster that must be traversed carefully so this couple can get their well-deserved HEA. Tissues are a must!
Tank…from the very beginning of the book you find out why Warren is all inked up and why he is how he is with Delaney.
Delaney was a school teacher who loved her job and up until a few months ago she thought she loved her fiance, Blaine, but when he was caught have smex with his boss in the practiced he worked at, that love went out the window. Blaine was persistant, stalkerish persistant. When Delaney is out with a friend for dinner, she runs into Blaine, when she tells him she is dating someone and to leave her alone, she has no option but to walk up to the guy standing on the street with a cigarette in his mouth and grabbing his collar she says “kiss me”.
That one command, those two words, turned something in Tank’s brain and right then and there he FELL…and FELL hard.
Their relationship has a rocky start but through trial and error they start to find a groove but when Blaine starts with his stalkish ways things go from zero to 60 in seconds.
When Cala and Riley told us that they have a new book coming out and the MMC is a submissive I was intrigued. This was not something I have ever read and the fact that two of my favourite authors wrote I was also in. Tank did not have a great upbring his mother was horrible and he paid the price for her actions. He has never had any luck finding a woman that understands his need to be submissive and he has all but given up. Delany has never had any luck with men, she thinks she is the problem that there is something broken in her. While running from her ex that will not take no for an answer she bumps into Tank. When she demands he kiss her Tank see’s her for what she is – Perfect for him. As always there is plenty of action, club drama with a stalker thrown in. The chemistry between Tank and Delany is hot has hell and watching these two explore their dynamic together was amazing. This is not a book I would normally have picked up and I am so glad that I did because it was a wonderful story.
nother binge-worthy read by this fantastic duo! This was very different from the other MC books these two write. I wasn’t sure what to expect with the switch in the MMC’s “roles,” but they pulled it off wonderfully! At first, I thought Delaney would be timid regarding her jerk of an ex. But once she met Tank, her backbone really showed. I love how outspoken and confident she became. She stood for what she believed and wasn’t going to be bullied by him. Tank’s childhood broke my heart. When he met Delaney and the two of them began “seeing one another.”, it was palpable from the page how much he needs her and how happy he is becoming since spending time together. Their new dynamic is very different for them, but it seems to be exactly what the two of them have been missing in their relationships. Delaney’s confidence, especially, absolutely blossomed throughout this book. I loved this story and these characters so much. Cala and Riley do not ever disappoint. They know how to reel you in from the start and keep you binging until the very end. Another 5 ⭐️
Tank’s Weakness is the fourth book in the Saint’s Outlaws MC: Pensacola Chapter series. I adore MC romances and Tank and Delaney’s story was perfect. Their dom/sub relationship was hot and I loved the twist. How Tank and Delaney meet is the entire premise of their story. Delaney is in danger but she doesn’t realize it until it’s almost too late. Tank just happened to be at the right place at the right time. Delaney gets a crash course in MCs, stalkers, found family, and protective partners. She also explores a side of herself that was previously closed off. Tank and Delaney are a wonderful couple.
Tank’s Weakness is a beautiful, dynamic, and gritty MC romance. The story is filled with suspense, action, and realism. The authors created a novel with all the feels. I laughed, worried, and got angry. I was anxious and on the edge of my seat. The synopsis pulled me in but the character-driven plot, outstanding character development and world building, and writing style kept me engaged. I was unable to put the book down.
I love an MC enforcer who looks like he should be the most intimidating person in the room, only to meet the woman who makes him want to say, “Yes, ma’am.” Tank and Delaney were such a fun pairing because neither of them was quite what the other expected. Delaney may be the “good girl” teacher on paper, but the woman knows what she wants, and watching Tank realize just how much he likes her taking charge? I fear I was seated immediately.
But underneath that dynamic, I really loved watching Delaney begin to question how much of her life she had spent holding herself back. Tank gives her space to discover what she actually wants, while making it abundantly clear that when he chooses someone, he is ALL in. Add in the Saints Outlaws found family, an ex who desperately needed to learn when to leave well enough alone, and Tank going full MC enforcer when someone threatens what is his, and these two were ridiculously easy to root for.
Tropes: 🏍️ MC Enforcer × Teacher 🖤 Dominant FMC 🔥 Found Family 👀 Other Man Drama
This is the fourth book in this amazing series, and this is Tank and Delaney’s story. Tank has a tough childhood, and has been a member of the Saint’s Outlaws, Pensacola chapter since the very beginning, and has watched his brothers find their significant other’s and settle down. Delaney is a school teacher, who has an ex who refuses to take no as an answer, and on one of those instances, she walks up to Tank and kisses him, hoping her ex will get the message. There is an instant attraction between Tank and Laney, and I loved how they complimented each other perfectly. This is a well written easy to read, action packed story, with found family, friendships, emotions, danger, suspense, intrigue, stalking, obsession, loyalty, acceptance, trust, opposites attract, humour, witty banter, explosive chemistry, and love, which leads to an entertaining, addictive page turner. I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.
Saint’s Outlaws MC - Pensacola Chapter: Tank and Delaney
4.5 ⭐️ I loved this!
When the call came to opt in because the MMC is submissive, I absolutely jumped at the opportunity. And Tank did NOT disappoint! He falls first… and hard. And honestly, he was absolutely adorable. I loved seeing this big, tough MC enforcer discover that he really wants is a woman who can take control and give him exactly what he needs. Delaney was a great match for him, even though she had her own reservations about letting herself fall and putting everything on the line. The chemistry between these two was hot, and I really enjoyed watching their dynamic develop. Tank might be intimidating to everyone else, but watching him melt for Delaney was everything. Add in an ex who needs to be dealt with, MC drama, and a whole lot of possessive/protective energy, and this was such a fun read.
So, a submissive MMC who’s a badass MC enforcer and he falls first and hard? Yes, please.
I loved getting back to this world, Tank and Delaney's book was different...it was a reverse submission & honestly I didn't mind that.
Delaney, she spent years in a relationship, but after he ex betrays her she is gone. However, her ex doesn't seem to understand that she doesn't belong to him anymore. And he will use every tactic he possibly can do to ruin her.
Tank, gosh. He went through a lot when he was younger, and his mother's treatment of him! [Horrible💔]. He is an enforcer for Saint's Outlaw MC, and honestly you don't want to get on his bad side.
This was a good read, and overall I enjoyed the little suspense it had. Everything involving her ex had me invested to know how it was going to come together. However, I didn't feel that chemistry between the main leads. Individually I loved them, but together...not so much 🙈
