Sam always writes books I love, the writing is always top notch and the plot is on pointe.
Knox is a hitman. Sometimes he kill people sometimes he saves them like Ava his ever faithful PA that he saved in a mission to kill a serial killer & Rapist. He found more than he bargained for that night, he found Ava tied to a human dart board and she'd already been struck several times. So he rescued her. Ava having been an abused foster child fell for Knox after he saved her and fell harder everyday after. They lived together and currently had a houseguest Marshal staying with them whose wife tried to hire Knox to assassinate him but Knox instead rescued him and they were trying to bring his ex wife down. Ava didn't like people but she begrudgingly likes marshal and so does Knox's. She the issues with his wife are sorted he leaves as there friend. But when Knox finally makes moves on Ava someone breaches there security so he takes her to Marshals while he solves th problem. Marshal and Ava bond and he tries to encourage her to tell Knox how he feels. So when Knox comes back and she does exactly that they finally enter a relationship but then Ava's kidnapped and Knox and marshal have to get her back. Will they save her in time, will they get rid of marshal or are they stuck with him for good? (Yeah they are)
I love the characters in this marshal is possibly my fave he wants someone to love him but also needs someone to look after him he's abit useless but so lovable so instead he creates a family with Knox and Ava
Ava is a resilient woman she's a dark soul who loves colour and sees the light even in people who do bad things IE Knox
Knox is a hitman who has a heart he has a code he will only hurt bad people and try's to save people when he can.
Fantastically written some seriousness, some spice and some comedy.

Knox’ Woman is the third book in Sam Crescent’s Villains series, and it delivers a romance that’s already established. Knox and Ava are very much an item, but the tension stays high until the both give in to what the heart wants.
From the start, you can feel how tightly connected the three of them are. Knox and Ava’s relationship is spicy, intense, and emotionally charged, and Marshal isn’t written as “outside” of them so much as woven into their day-to-day in a way that keeps the dynamic compelling. What really worked for me is how Marshal evolves into more than a third wheel. He becomes their best friend, their ride-or-die, and eventually someone who is an essential part of the family they’re building.
The story balances heat, drama, a little action, and suspense, and the characters are easy to root for. The pacing makes it a quick, engaging read, and the emotional pull comes from watching that bond solidify into something loyal and lasting.
My one critique is the ending felt a bit short. Some parts of Knox and Ava’s story, could’ve used more space to breathe and develop. There were also moments where the internal POV lingered when I wanted more of the relationship growth shown through what they do rather than what they’re thinking.
Still, this was a fun, spicy read with a dynamic that stood out, and I absolutely think it’s worth the read, especially if you enjoy found-family vibes and a romance that expands in an very heartfelt and spicy way.

Just when they begin to act on their feelings obstacles and threats continue to come after them and threaten to tear them apart. Knox knows he cannot live without Ava and will move heaven and earth to keep his woman safe. When she is taken the fool that takes her has no idea of the wrath he has just unleashed but he will soon find out. I absolutely loved this story, another triumph delivered by the fabulous Sam Crescent. The characters kept me hooked throughout and there was delicious spice and drama and laugh out loud moments. The secondary character Marshall whom they have to protect and ends up becoming part of their family is a great character. Equal parts hilarious and worrisome. He needs to be looked after but he has a heart of gold bless him and does add to the story. Overall a great read that I will no doubt be reading again and hope that you do too! Happy Reading.

A Fun Story
Knox is contract killer and he is very good at his job. As you would expect, he is a very alpha and tough guy.
One night he saves a woman and has never been able to stop thinking about her since. He even hired her on as his PA, but he’s kept their relationship completely professional even though he wants more.
Ava has been in love with Knox since the night he saved her life. She will do anything for him and at least can stay close to him as his PA.
While working a new job, some situations arise that make it impossible for Knox to keep his distance anymore. Ava is meant to be his and he’s done staying away.
This was a good story with some suspense and even a lighthearted, comedic feel to it. Very enjoyable.

Ava is Knox’s PA. No one touches her. Anyone that ever hurt her pays dearly. Having to safe house Marshall is a big pain. But he is harmless. Ava is grateful for all that Knox has done for her. She knows what he does for a living and that doesn’t scare her. Having Marshall around is starting to drive her crazy though. When Marshall tells Knox that he can feel the tension between him and Ava, things start to unravel. Things seems to be moving in the right direction for these two but you have Marshall in the mix. You have to admit, it is a bit funny. He is so needy. When someone grabs Ava, things move fast. I thought it was a fun story. Nothing really bad. Just a relaxing pace.

This was a unique and entertaining read that showcases the relationship between a hitman and his PA as it evolved over the years. Ava was rescued by Knox from a serial k!ller and that started her on the path to all the feels for him. He knew she was beautiful and loved how she kept his life organized but didn't look deeper than that. When he takes in Marshall, a client that has a hit out on him, this fast tracks them from hiding behind their walls to so much more. Marshall saw the chemistry between them and poked at both of them until they finally caved and acted on those feelings ;) I loved the humour of Marshall's character and how this plot unfolded with danger all around. Definitely a page turner with heat and I really enjoyed it :D

Knox's Woman was everything you could want in a dark workplace romance. Yes, I said dark workplace...This is a villain gets the girl romance, and it was a chef's kiss to the workplace romance. I thought the storyline was intriguing and original. It kept me turning the pages to see what would happen next. I loved the banter between Knox and Ava, and their chemistry was off the hook. I loved the angst between boss and PA it was hot. This book is filled with drama, suspense, angst, and oh, the spicy spice was so on point!!! Knox was possessive and protective of Ava, and Ava kept Knox on his toes. This has to be my favorite series from Sam Crescent. I can't wait to see what comes next!!!.

I usually really enjoy reading novella' from Sam Crescent, I tend to read them in between series and when am at a lose end on what to dive into next, but have to say more often than not over the last few I have found them lacking in plot and substance only finishing them coz I have fomo and OCD on finishing anything I start lol, I may give this author I miss for a while unless it's a book from one of her established series but some may find this type of story up their street. It's man saved gal, employs her as a PA then the whole book revolves around her looking after him and the man child they seemed to have acquired while trying to dodge a hitman happy reading no matter what your preferred trope is

What a wild ride! So good! I have read the other novels in this series and enjoyed them. This novel did not disappoint. From the first chapter this novel sucked me in and held on tight. I loved Ava and Knox’s story. I loved their chemistry. I loved watching them both lower their walls and defenses and realize their attraction to each other. So good! Once I started reading I had a hard time putting this novel down. So good! I can hardly wait to see what this author has coming next. Such a wild ride! Loved it!

This is Book 3 of the Villains series but can be read as a standalone. What a great read! The contract killer and the woman he saved and made his assistant. *swoon*
The characters were well written and developed and complex and complicated and absolutely perfect for each other. Plot was original and intriguing and well paced. World building was excellent and impressive. Enjoyed immensely and thoroughly and highly recommend.

Knox is a contract killer who three years ago saved Ava from a serial killer. She has worked as his PA since then, both are in love with the other but do not act on it. The story opens where there is a man staying the two them to protect him from the contract his wife has placed on him.
I honestly do not know how Marshall is still breathing, he seems to have no self preservation. Luckily for him he seems to adopt Ava and Knox. Knox will have to work fast to save Ava. Never a dull moment.

Another fantastic book! We've already reached the third installment in the series. I loved Knox and Ava together. After he rescues her from a serious situation, she goes to work for him, and he can protect her as well. She handles all his cases and refuses to hear about certain aspects of his work. Everything changes when she finds herself in danger again, and then the beast inside her emerges, doing everything he can to protect and keep the woman he loves.

This book is full of heat. Knox and Ava work together. The chemistry between them was out of this world. So hot. Knox is the ultimate alpha male, he is a trained assassin. He saved Ava and she went to work for him. They saved Marshall from his wife who wanted to kill him. Marshall was the ultimate comedic relief. This book is full of steam and lots of s3x. I highly recommend this book to all romance readers.

There wasn't much that really made the relationship between our main characters stand out. They were a bit quirky, but they got each other. What’s pretty funny is how Martin, the sidekick, helps break the tension between them. He was kind of the odd one out, looking a bit lost sometimes, but he was also a true friend—someone they both really trusted and considered as family.

This is book three in this series which I’ve enjoyed reading. In this book, Knox meets Ava and to protect her she works for him. She loves him but he doesn’t want to cross the line. Finally Knox does and it is amazing. Then more drama happens and Knox does everything to protect Ava. Great book and a quick read!.

A romance between a hired killer and a woman he saved from a dangerous situation. She now works for him and they are dealing with Michael, the man Knox was hired to kill. An unlikely friendship, but certainly a definite relationship eventually becomes something neither Knox nor Ava no longer ignore. A bit of humour lightens the tension.

This is a fantastic book with action, some suspense, and plenty of steam. Knox is a criminal who lives by a code, and Ava is his PA, whom he rescued from a certain death. Now their feelings for each other are coming to the surface and cannot be ignored. These two are such great characters, and they fit together perfectly. I love their friend Marshall! Such a great book that has a perfect happy ending.

Sam has outdone herself once again. This had me hooked from the very first page. Be prepared to not want to put this book down. Nothing better than having that Alpha man who finds that one woman that is meant just for him. Makes him lower his walls and let her in and he becomes a big softie just for her. The chemistry between this couple makes for a really good read. This is a must have!!

I enjoyed Ava and Knox's story. Knox isn't a good guy, but he once saved Ava and now she works for him. They have secretly wanted each other all this time but have not acted on it. Once Knox does, things will never go back to the way they were. Knox is a contract killer so of course there is a little action in the story.

This is Knox and Ava's story. I love this series as a whole but, I think this is my favorite. These two have a great chemistry but they also fit one another. I loved the way the story flowed and allowed me into not just the physical attraction but the way they understood each other and were friends first.

Another wonderful story from Sam Crescent. Knox and Ava live together as she is his PA and he saved her several years ago. I enjoyed the banter between them and watching the relationship develop. When danger comes calling, Knox will do whatever it takes to keep her safe!

This book I've already read twice. It's quick and good. If two people belonged together it's Ava and Knox, two nonconventional thinking people that are perfect. Throw in Marshal, you've got a good book.

This was ok, just ok. I skipped a lot of the inter metalogue and once the spice happen , it got better. The drama was good, and glad to see the HEA.

It was the most normal hired killer romance I’ve read. Also, what’s the deal with Marshals. Why they moved in all together? They are not a throuple. It’s weird. It was so bland and non scary at all. Everyone thought that their behaviour was normal.
