This is a fantastic book and an excellent companion read to Madness, Betrayal and the Lash by Stephen R. Brown. Follow CV and others as they move up the PNW mapping the coastline and beyond, interacting with Indigenous communities and navigating not only the challenges of being at sea but also the rigours of shipboard life in the 18th century.
