I really wanted to love this book! The first chapter started off strong, but then there were so many issues with continuity. Plot points didnt follow or make sense...seemed like chapters were written out of order and then the book didnt follow as a whole.

A Billionaire Romance Worth Every Page

I absolutely loved this book from the very first page. I read it in two hours and couldn’t put it down once. The chemistry and banter between Jesse and Ethan were incredible. The way he chose her over everyone and everything was just perfect.

I read a lot of billionaire and mafia romance books, and this has become one of my favorites. It was absolutely incredible from start to finish. I’m left wanting more—especially to know what the future holds for Jesse and Ethan. If a sequel or novella ever comes out, I would read it in a heartbeat.

I highly recommend this book if you’re looking for an amazing love story with an engaging plot that keeps you wanting more. I’m so grateful the author allowed me early access to this amazing story as an ARC.

I read this book as an ARC… Ethan and Jesse’s story was full of a slow burn, banter filled, chaotic mess. The witty, smart mouth Jesse met her match in Ethan. She meets him in her way to an interview after bumping into and covering him in hot coffee. Only to find out she would be seeing Ethan soon. The fires they have to go through may or may not make them stronger in the end. I loved the banter and the way they handled themselves. It was quick good read, with a little spice. But, the question of all… do they make it through the fire to come up on the other side better off than they started. The twist and turns will have you guessing.

2.75⭐️ It took me nearly 3 weeks to read this book that I really wanted to love and has so much potential, but there were so many issues with the plot in the beginning that eventually seemed to even out … but just took so much away from the whole story. Also, the constant string of lies between the characters was rather aggravating. It did end ok and that saved the book from a lower rating.

** I received an ARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. **

Absolutely addictive and steamy! Grumpy Billionaire’s Fake Engagement by Katie Chance is a fun, flirty romance that had me hooked from start to finish. The enemies-to-lovers chemistry between the icy billionaire and his witty new assistant is chef’s kiss — the banter, tension, and slow burn are executed perfectly, and the fake engagement setup keeps you turning pages.

Fun quick spicy read. I did feel like a lot happens off page, which at times I was confused about. A more light hearted billionaire romance was nice to read. Most the man is always so angry and this grump wasn't too bad.

Great book. Ended my reading slump and finished it in just a few hours.
An interesting twist of events and the switch between point of views was a great way to intertwine both stories beautifully.
