King: Silver Shadows MC

Rate this book
“Fear no shadow, for your brothers stand with you.”

A president with a target on his back.
A woman with a secret that could burn it all down.
A club on the brink of war.

Kingston O’Rourke rules the Silver Shadows MC with an iron fist. He has spent his life building walls—around his club, his brothers, and his heart. As president of the Silver Shadows MC’s Nebraska chapter, he’s no stranger to betrayal, danger or the ghosts that haunt his past.
Plagued by secrets, hunted by enemies, and tested by a war that threatens to destroy everything he loves, King must fight for his club, his brothers, his family, and the woman who holds his heart. But when the past comes calling and old wounds are ripped open, King makes a decision that will change everything.

Grace Bishop came to Diamond Creek searching for answers and revenge—about her father, her past, and the secrets her mother took to the grave. Born into a legacy of secrets and blood, she never expected to find herself in the crosshairs of a war, or in the arms of Kingston O’Rourke, the president of the Silver Shadows MC.
He was danger wrapped in leather and loyalty, a man haunted by betrayal and blood. He was the only man who could help her find the truth—or destroy her in the process. Every step she takes uncovers another secret and another lie.
What started out as revenge has now turned into desire and a deeply guarded secret that could shatter everything, and she must decide whether to stay and fight for a future with the one man who could break her heart—or save her soul.

As enemies close in and old secrets rise from the grave, King and the Silver Shadows find themselves forced into a deadly game of loyalty and deception.
Every ally could be a traitor.
Every shadow could be a threat.
When violence erupts and the past comes hunting, King will risk everything to protect the woman he loves—even if it means facing enemies he never saw coming. In a world where trust is a weapon and love is a liability, survival means making the ultimate sacrifice.

The war has begun—choose your side.

King is a raw, pulse-pounding, emotional MC romance about found family, redemption, and the power of love to heal even the deepest scars. Packed with explosive twists, raw emotion, and a relentless fight for redemption, King will take you on the ride of your life.

I love a book where everyone is connected to everyone lmao... (not in a alabama way... just everyone's family but they didn't know)

I love how the old characters have family still coming out of the woodworks... Poor Reaper and Montana

I am curious to know what happened, who died... who's the traitor etc.

Also Darcy?? all 3 of her baby daddies being in the same room? byeeee...

Carly's cameo?? omg... I was like "What will she reveal now?"

I am here for the drama...

I want to also know if Ann & Rebecca had the whole family tree in their workspace to not get confused somewhere... not the normal one... I mean the master TREE... because for me 1st reads are always hard... but I always do a full series re-read if I have a huge gap between reading the books... the my a light bulb goes on "OMG...now I get it!!"

This book takes off where Ravage (Rebecca Joyce) left us... and omg she left us with our hearts in our hands and our heads spinning. Ann takes off right from there.
King is the charater you know and love. You think you know him pretty well from prior books but hold on tight. Kings relationship with Grace has finally come to a head.
King was between a rock and hard place, trying to follow biker rules and his love for Grace.
Grace's charater wasn't what I thought i would be. Her hard exterior attitude was hiding the hurt broken places her parents caused.
Finding their way to each other and better communication ... well lets just say it's difficult, and gut renching. (Take heed of the trigger warnings!0
Now... while all this is going on.... King is the center of it ALL! Not giving anything away but you have to read this book, and you have to be up to date on past books. Don't miss this one... okay I'm leaving now to go read this one again!

God I love these guys, for such big tough Presidents, which when needed, they most definitely are, but if their not punching their adversaries in the face or arguing with each other, pointing out the obvious, they are stepping back behind the other and those are the moments that make me laugh. The long twisted rope of life that belongs to King, Reaper and Montana slowly unwinds, exposing secrets with each knot thats untangled leaving them, me and every other reader aghast with the knowledge we’ve learned, the families that are entwined, the living that were dead 😵 my head shakes, trying to take it all in. Both Ann and Rebecca have plotted a devious, twisted tale with each book they write, I imagine them planning and plotting while preparing to bring the reader to their knees and once again they have successfully brought me to mine. Both very talented at telling the story that has kept me gripped, unable to put any of the novels down once I start and once again I am salivating for more of King, Reaper and Montana. A definite page turner and very entertaining. 100% recommend this book to everyone ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ you will not be disappointed 😎🖤

If books had sounds this one would roar!

I will start off and say I love Reaper, but seriously King isn't far behind. This is a book that deserves peace when you read it, no distractions, simply due to the fact that there was so much going on. Honestly after reading this, I'm starting to doubt my paternity! What's coming next out of the woodwork, the battles, the fallen, the betrayals, who knows. Grace was and has been a solid calming force for king, honest about her past intentions, even though it didn't put her in a good light, she came through it though. King was honourable and understood, but boy didn't he take a time, so pleased he got his head out of his ....! Loved this book, incase you didn't know!

Wow

This series always keeps you on your toes. Going back to this gritty world after being gone for a bit was like immersing yourself in an ice bath then heading to the sauna. There is so much drama but also family and some sweet moments. Please be warned the triggers are real in this particular book she puts up a warning ahead of the chapter so skip if needed.

🌟🌟🌟🌟😱😮🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I love these books of Ann Silver and Rebecca Joyce but they aren't for the faint of heart. So many threads left untied who lived or died. Or who will come back from the dead😅. Please authors write quickly but take care of yourselves as I don't think you can come back from the dead like your characters. We will wait impatiently for the next book. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Hear me when I say this because this is the first book of hers I have ever read this took me through the trenches with this book and I am going to say this thank you so much for that you gutted me every step of the way in this book.

So with that being said first off Sinclair mind blowing about his son right but now I want to know more also Romeo like I want the man's book like yesterday okay I need his book ASAP because the man is chef's kiss

I will forever say this I have come to Now understand that nobody is truly anyone's parents they're all just people that were put in place because the real parents couldn't be there it's just like this pattern of events you know that happens with parents making a sacrifice and not being there the same thing with no one is truly gone.

Also Grace and King they really just throw you through the ringer like full of different mixed emotions with both of them because King is so stubborn but so is Grace and you got to commend King for his like loyalty and for his like devotion to what is right and wrong within the laws of this club but you also have to come in Grace because all she's ever wanted is for someone to not leave her and for someone to choose her .

At some points of this book I wanted to shake some sense into both of them .

Also can I just say that I'm really shocked at everyone's parents and the full circle of it all and how everybody is connected I got to say there is one person that really just like I have mixed feelings on.

Next I want everybody to read the trigger warnings on this book like do not go into this blindly do not read this if you have certain triggers your mental health matters and this is not to be taken lightly at all.

But I can say that it was beautifully done.

Overall the book is amazing I would definitely reread it and I cannot wait for what's next but the ending of the book it's like an epic movie right before your eyes.

All I can say is WOW! It is highly recommended that you read at lease Ravage by Rebecca Joyce as King and Grace's story ends up continuing that storyline.

King is the President of Silver Shadows MC. He is well respected my his brothers. For 3 yrs he has been in love with Grace but wouldn't take the relationship where he wanted it.

Grace has been in love with King for 3yrs but it didn't start that way. She is the daughter of the Mother Chapter of the Silver Shadows MC and she is not his biggest fan.

King will do anything to protect Grace even walk through the fires of Hell. Grace is ready to run in the opposite direction and not look back. Can they come together and finally have the life they deserve together or will everything be ripped away.

In this book we get a glimpse of the past 3yrs of King and Grace's relationship. Then we get the continuation from Ravage's book (Rebecca Joyce). This book is full of love, hate, heartbreak and mayhem. There are a lot of things that come to light for everyone involved. If it's not one thing it is another and it has the Silver Shadows having to rely on thier allies to help with a war not of thier making.

Come along for the ride of your life but bring a box of tissues. This book will have you laughing, crying and raging at some points. It will leave you on the edge of your seats and not want to put it down. If you haven't had a chance to read any of Ann's books it is highly recommended to start from the beginning of the series. Remember some of her books do play into Rebecca Joyce's book. You can find a complete reading list on both of thier websites. Happy Reading.

King — Silver Shadows MC (Ann Silver)

“King” is an explosive, high-stakes ride from beginning to end — Ann Silver packs this book with twists, family revelations, and nonstop chaos in the best way. Just when you think you have the world figured out, more family comes out of the woodwork and every secret you thought you knew gets flipped on its head.

Trigger Warnings: while there are no direct SA scenes on the page, themes of sexual assault, trafficking, abuse, and trauma are heavily implied and carried forward from Rebecca Joyce’s Ravage. Violence, war, and darker MC content are present throughout — readers should go in prepared.

This installment is loaded with connections. Reaper, Montana, and other familiar faces weave through the story, tightening the web between the Golden Skulls MC and the Silver Shadows. War has hit, and the Shadows find themselves right in the middle of it — danger pressing in from every direction.

And the shocks keep coming: ghosts rising from the “dead,” characters we thought were long gone suddenly resurfacing, and new players ready to wreak havoc in the chaos. It’s impossible to look away.

Although “King” can technically stand alone, it truly shines when read immediately after Rebecca Joyce’s Golden Skulls installment Ravage — the continuity between both authors is seamless and impressive.

Yes, there’s a quasi-cliffhanger — but King and Grace do get a solid happy-for-now, just enough to hold us over while the war still rages.

If you love dark MC worlds with layered plots, shocking reveals, and characters who refuse to go quietly, “King” is a wild, unforgettable ride from start to finish.

King has been a long awaited, highly anticipated book! It picks up where Ravage by Rebecca Joyce left off with all of the chaos you can imagine. If there is anything that can happen, it happens in King. Every single emotion that can possibly be felt, you feel it in King. This story is one monstrous family affair! It lays out how everyone is related and what their ties are to the Silver Shadows MC, Golden Skulls MC, God's Of Mayhem MC and the Mafia. It's an absolute brilliant, intense, gritty story that from start to finish had me on the edge of my seat. Secrets, surprises, betrayals, lies, twists and turns are rampant in this story. I
very adamantly suggest reading Ravage prior to reading King. These authors have without a doubt outdone themselves! The two books tell a complete story that is absolutely a must read!

Buckle up, Buttercup. King is here!! King managed to save Grace from the river, but can he help her work through the trauma from her kidnapping and subsequent assault? And as they try to figure out their new normal, there is chaos all around. Family long thought gone shows up, ghosts rise from the dead, and the skeletons are now just dancing their way out of all the closets. And there is a war coming. Who will survive? Who is ally and who is traitor? Can King, along with Reaper and Montana, figure it out in time? Heavy is the head that wears the crown. But, it's good to be King, right? All hail the King!
Ann Silver keeps us on the edge of our seats throughout the whole book, and I am left breathless, with my head spinning. Questions were answered, and in true Rebbeca and Ann style, we are left with twice as many. Buckle up and hold on for the ride of a lifetime!

This book takes off where Ravage by Rebecca Joyce left off. It is highly recommended that you read Ravage first. Their shared world is addicting in the best way possible. I have been awaiting King's book, and it didn't disappoint. We have always known Grace was it for King, and we finally get to see them together. To understand the struggles of both, this book gives all the feels. All I wanted was for Grace and King to get what they needed. As well we get the information of what's going on, war is coming. Questions & Truths are answered but in true Ann and Rebecca form more were asked. All I can say is get ready you're gonna need tissues, a drink and maybe there'll be some cursing too along the way.

WOW…just wow. I’m lost for words. I’ve waited so long for King and Grace and Ann did not disappoint. With it definitely came a lot of emotional and mentally hard parts but it was well worth it. Just beautiful and strong individuals finally able to fight their demons and come together! What I love most about Ann Silver is how she can incorporate Rebecca series and write it so smoothly. I love that they flow so great together. They blend great. You know your have a good author when you feel it like your living it with them. I loved the ending (despite the ending iykyk) with all the different POVs. I can’t wait for more!

This book wrecked me! I’m emotionally drained as this was an emotional, gritty, intense read. It is packed with danger, secrets, loyalty, and forbidden desire. King is a powerful, broken leader you will love and want to scream at, while Grace’s story will completely gut you and steal your heart. I cried, laughed and held my breath more times than I can count. Have tissues ready - and clear your schedule - because once you start, there is no way you will be able to put this down! I absolutely highly recommend. You must red Ravage by Rebecca Joyce first as these books intertwine.

I can’t believe we finally got King’s book and my God, did it land with a punch! It takes off exactly where Ravage left us, right when we were still emotionally devastated, and somehow manages to hit even harder.

I absolutely loved it. There’s honestly not much more to say. As with all of Ann Silver’s books, the writing is smooth, the pacing is tight, and the emotional beats really land. Every scene feels intentional, and the intensity never lets up.

But that ending… WHAT. THE. HELL. 😭
Ann and Rebecca are known for leaving those little snippets at the end of their books that keep us hanging until the next release, but this one is the worst (and best) yet. I genuinely cannot imagine how the next book will even begin, but you better believe I’ll be hanging on desperately until it does.

Emotionally wrecked. Completely worth it. 👑📖

King the Silver Shadows MC President has been in love with Grace for 3 years but refuses to claim her. Grace loves to hate King.

The air in Diamond Creek is becoming thick with sinister threats, suspicions, tensions and rivalry as long lost family and ghosts converge at the Silver Shadows clubhouse. War is coming.

I was hooked from the very first page, it’s dark and gritty with layer upon layer of treachery, betrayals, anguish and shocking revelations. I can’t wait patiently enough for the story to continue.

Expect the unexpected, you won’t be disappointed.

This very long awaited book is finally here! King picks up from where we left off at the end of Ravage. It started off a little slow for me with it basically doing a retelling of the previous events from prior books. Once it got going, I couldn’t put it down. There is so many twists to this story. I felt like i was watching an episode of Maury waiting for him to declare “you are/not the father”. That last chapter completely blew me away. I need to know what is going to happen next. Way to keep us readers on our toes. Anyway, King was amazing and I completely recommend reading.

Unexpected Phenomenal

What have I just read ! So much in one book I think I overloaded myself. Every Freaking page was amazing , excellent, oh so good. I loved seeing so many characters but I need a crash course on the people again. Can I say I didn’t want it to end so many questions, so much action, heartache, excitement with the unexpected moments. Omg loved it again I might have to ask for a sheet with all the characters and who they are. Between Rebecca Joyce and Ann Silver I can’t get enough of this combined duo . Can’t wait for the next book 📕

Holy freaking Nora heck! The book we have all been waiting for!
What it all that is holy did I just read.
The Chaos, the twists and turns.
God I love this series running in with Rebecca Joyce's stories.
King pops back and forth between the whole time Grace and King have been tiptoeing around each other and follows on from Ravage.
The twisted story that these 2 authors read and the last 10 chapters starting new stories lines while weaving in old ones and the cliff hangers don't get me started on those freaking things!!
I loved this and as usual I am sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for the next one!

I've read all the books in this series, but this had sooooooo much going on. There's no way to keep up with it all. The parts I could keep up with were good, though. If you've been reading the series, then of course you have to read the presidents story. If you haven't been reading the series, then hell, nawl would I recommend this complicated Alabama family tree of hell. 🤣🤣🤣 Happy read to the rest of you. 🙋🏽‍♀️

Holy hell

Ann Silver must be Rebbeca Joyce or her twin. I'm hooked. This continued series involving Reaper, Montana, and others is now involving King and Grace. OMFG MY MIND IS ABOUT TO EXPLODE. Their family tree is mind boggling, and secrets so many. Unreval one and another pops up.
These two authors are BRILLIANT!!! If you have not read Golden Skulls where it all started you are missing out on some excellent reads.
