This was ott ridiculous and fun. There's no plot; it's pure smut, and that's what I'm in the mood for at the moment. 😂

It was insta-lust at the very beginning, and Harmony (21) did try to avoid August (25) for a few days. Obviously, this avoidance tactic didn't last, and soon they eventually got together.

Overall, this was fun, and I had a good time reading it.

OMG...August and Harmony are so amazing! This was a wonderful book, and it included Christmas time to boot. 🎉 OTT is great about providing just the right amount of background to clue readers into the character's mindset, and this is no exception. Harmony came for her visit with plenty of emotional baggage and expectations. August certainly WASN'T at all what she was expecting (nor she what he was). The dance these two did, with August's gentle encouragements, was both endearing and tantalizing. A real holiday feel good story that can be read during a short break in the festivities (or anytime the mood strikes).

Loved Harmony and August. They were VERY sexy together. While I don’t particularly find step-sibling romances taboo, I didn’t mind the push and pull Harmony had with herself. The scene where August and Harmony are at the orchestra? Whew. 🔥🔥

OTT does know how to write a sexy little book and this was no exception.

A cute simple perfect love story (filled with smut sort of tho) with Dual Virgins which I absolutely love!!! I love how they were the only ones in their lives and loved the 40 years later epilogue too!!!

I also loved the morals and values of August the old fashioned guy(said by himself)! He said he wants just one person throughout his whole life and he was waiting for his soul mate, then knew Harmony was that one at first sight! Love that part specifically since I can't stand manwhores!

Felt like I watched a literal Christmas movie overall! ❤️

Harmony is returning home from two years in Australia. When her parents got divorced she was mad at her mother and left for Australia. Harmony missed her mother’s wedding. Harmony is going to her stepfather’s cabin to spend Christmas with her mother and her new step family. Harmony is surprised when her mom meets her on the porch and they hug and apologize. Harmony meets Brandon who is her stepfather and he seems to make her mom happy. Harmony has never been really interested in any man before, she is a virgin. August is her new stepbrother and she immediately gets interested but she tries to stay away from him. August shows up at his dad’s cabin with a Christmas tree. When he turns to see Harmony he knows that he has found his soulmate and he doesn’t care that she is his stepsister. August will do anything to have Harmony in his arms and bed. August has saved himself for his soulmate so he is a virgin also. August tells Harmony that he wants her but she evades him. They go to the orchestra with their parents and are alone in a VIP box. August gets very handsy with Harmony but she doesn’t care, she enjoys it. August and Harmony are left alone while their parents go out and they end up having sex. Harmony now realizes that August is her soulmate. What will happen when their parents find out? Will August and Harmony have a very merry Christmas? Will August and Harmony find everlasting love and happiness as step siblings turned lovers?

Outstanding Step Sibling Christmas romance!

August is our MMC. He’s handsome, With brown hair and eyes. He’s tall and covered in muscles and tattoos. He’s young but has achieved executive level at his work. Once his eyes touch on Harmony, he’s a lost man and nothing will ever be the same again.
Harmony is our MFC. Shes an innocent, beautiful blond with blue eyes. She’s coming home at Christmas after living two years in Australia. Her mother divorced her father two years ago and is now married to her stepdad Brandon. So she’s headed to Brandon’s cabin in the woods for Christmas. And my oh my does fireworks fly for the “stepchildren”🪭. And not in an angry way, but rather with an all consuming combustible attraction.
This is their wild, obsessive story of falling in love. A fast passed read with all the sweetness (dual virgins) feels and actions 😜. They get their happy ever after because their “soul mates”.🥰
Olivia T Turner, works magic again with this awesome book. Highly recommended 👍🏻.

Harmony has not seen her mother in 2 years. After her mother tore their family apart so she could marry her boss, Harmony left for Australia. Now she is back to see her mother, stepfather and stepbrother for the Christmas holidays. Harmony’s mother tried to explain to her that her stepfather is her soulmate, but Harmony doesn’t believe in that, although her mother does seem happier than ever.
When Harmony sees her stepbrother, August, she has a hard time reconciling her feelings.August has made it clear that he wants her but Harmony worries about them being stepbrother and stepsister. When they begin to act on their feelings, Harmony begins to believe in soulmates.
I loved this book, although admittedly, this is one of my favorite tropes. Ms. Turner does a fantastic job portraying all of the characters. This book is not to be missed!.

3.5 stars. Harmony, the female lead, is returning from Australia, having spent 2 years away because she was mad that her mother divorced her father to marry her boss. Now looking at reconciling, she’s anxious. When she meets her stepbrother, she’s mortified by how attracted she is to him.

August, the male lead, has never been attracted to anyone the way he is to Harmony and he’s determined to marry her, regardless of any theoretical legal relationship between them. But will getting together spoil a family Christmas?

This short story is dual POV, and a steamy, contemporary, romp in the author’s fun and unrealistic style. I enjoyed the relationship development. I appreciated August’s pursuit. I enjoyed the family relationship rebuilding.

When her mother divorced her dad to marry her boss, Harmony had a lot of anger and resentment for her and she left for Australia. Two years later she is back to spend Christmas at her stepfather’s house with him (Brandon), her mother and stepbrother August. When her mother explains her love to Brandon by being soulmates and that you can not chose who the universe picks for you, Harmony scoffs ir off. When she meets August, she is taught her lesson. They both fall for each other. Harmony tries to resist, not wanting to hurt her mother even more. But August knows what he wants..
Sweet and steamy story, which made me laugh and feel with them. Like always an ott alpha. I enjoyed how Harmony got close to her mom again and the different kind of relationships. The extended epilogues were great.

Super safe! Dual virgins, no others. Only slightly taboo since hero/heroines parents are married, but they never grew up together and never had any sibling relationship so I don’t consider this to be actually taboo. No cheating/sharing/abuse. HEA YEEEEEAAAARRRSSSSS Out with multiple epilogues!

Taboo step siblings falling in love on Xmas. Its sweet, fluffy, n a bit dirty. the texting bits with her uber driver were interesting n it was cute to see them become friends later on.

Just wasn’t for me.

I like the taboo of this trope, but the writing just didn’t appeal to me. I’m a fan of a lot of novellas and while this totally fit that fast read box, I just didn’t get into the story. I felt more invested with the parents backstory than the step sibs current story.

Their attraction seemed rushed and adding the virginal aspect was just not it for me.

Another thing I didn’t care for was the excessive epilogues. This is a novella. We didn’t need 3 updates.

I will say, if you’re looking for a fast easy read, this works.

Every character in this story actually sucked.

I usually love OTT books and her other two Stepbrother stories are actually written pretty well and entertaining but this one was actually pretty terrible.

They were all written to be super selfish characters who only think of bringing themselves the most pleasure and comfort and the first few chapters established how unlikeable these people are which just made the story bland and unenjoyable.

That and it was pure smut and zero substance. Usually you feel a little tension and apprehension about the mom or the dad finding out but after finding out that the mom emotionally cheated on the dad, slapped him with a divorce, then married her boss (like some sort of whore of the office cliche) and blew up her family, you really don’t give two shit as a reader about anything she has to say to the child who’s home she wrecked.

The mom really was the worst character. First running out on her family because she had a midlife crisis and needed to indulge her “main character” moment instead of being a mom and not destroying her child’s stability, she married her married boss and then had the audacity to get on her high horse about August and Harmony being together like SHE didn’t destroy her first family bc of her own selfish whims and lack of respect for her first husband because “Brandon is my soulmate”. 🙄

Harmony was equally annoying with her inner back and forth of “no, this can’t happen again” then in literally 2.5 business minutes she’s on her knees for August. Like bestie figure out we’re getting whiplash. None of this is disgraceful since you guys just met a week ago,just figure yourself out. Jfc.

After being estranged from her mother for two years, Harmony has decided to come home for Christmas. Her Mom divorced her father abruptly and then fell in love with and married her boss, then proclaimed him to be her soulmate, which Harmony Feels doesn't exist. Harmony has never forgiven her. However, she misses her mom and feels it is time to start repairing the relationship. She meets her stepfather and her stepbrother August. Upon meeting August, everything changes.she feels attracted to him like she hasn't ever felt before.
August can not believe the reaction he is having to his new stepsister. He has been waiting for the person he wants to spend his life with he just did not expect that person to be family.

I gotta say, I am usually a huge fan of Olivia Turner's books. They are always packed with lots of spice and chemistry, all in a short novella. I will say this wasn't my favorite OT book. It wasn't the taboo factor as most of her books have some of that. It just felt lacked in something, perhaps substance. Also, the Uber driver part to me was just dumb. However, I have read every single OTT book and will continue to do so.

OTT is known for her steamy, sexy novellas, Stepbrother Christmas is an extra sweet and spicy treat for fans new and old. Harmony is returning home after two years in Australia. She fled after her Mom divorced her Dad to marry her boss, claiming her was her ‘soul mate’. Harmony doesn’t believe in soulmates. She isn’t sure she believes in love. But she wants to make up with her Mom, and try and heal their rift.

But then she meets her new step-brother, August, and it’s insta-lust at first sight, because of course Harmony refuses to admit it’s love. August has no such problems, he chases after Harmony with the single minded purpose of a predator stalking his prey. (LOL). August is determined that Harmony is his, their sneaking around is hilarious. Harmony’s bouts of guilt over how their parents will react, and her potential decent to hell are nothing more than her way of throwing up blocks to try and protect herself.

Olivia always creates amazing worlds and characters for us, this time is no different, it was easy to cheer August on while giggling at their sexy antics. It’s a swoon-worthy read!

Not my favorite OTT but not bad.
Didn’t feel like alpha possessive was as strong as usual:

He made her come to him- she snuck into his bed but he clearly had no plan to do it to her.

He made her ask for everything she wanted- definitely not forced and he needed clear verbal consent🙄— personally, I find this annoying and contradicts the whole obsessive possessed alpha male in these books.

Yeah, I know “consent is sexy” (says many reviewers), and I agree IRL, but I hope we don’t lose a whole book genre of “over-the-top-Alphas who take what they want” to this ideology. Some of us still want to read about the hot alpha that won’t take no and he might be a bit of a cinnamon roll- but only for his OTL.

Sorry for the rant😂-
About this particular book, I did not love the heroine who turned her back on her mom and didn’t speak to her for over 2 years because she divorced her dad (and got remarried to her ‘soulmate’ and is insanely happy now…”bad mom”!!). She seemed immature and didn’t act much better when they reunited. The stepbrother aspect didn’t really play much of a role in the book, especially since they are both in their twenties.

This is steamy, taboo, and over-the-top as step siblings August and Harmony push and pull on their road to soulmates. Essentially, everything I expect from Olivia. It's a good way to enjoy some holiday fun, that's for certain. 😘

Unless there's a plan to connect future stories with Uber driver Makayla, I found her insertions beyond the first chapter to add no value. It was actually a bit awkward as time went on.

It is Christmas and she is meeting her new stepdad and stepbrother, August is instantly attracted to her but she pulls away from him as she doesn’t want to cause more trouble for her mother

They end up giving in and getting caught oops

Dual Virgins- in his pov he says many women throw themselves at him but he isn’t interested and then he speaks to harmony and tells her he waited as he believes in soulmates and she is his… she didn’t believe in soulmates till him

4 Epilogues - one year later (Have a baby girl), A few days after the last one, Ten years later (2 more Kids boys age 7 and 5), last one at Thirty years later (Had just the 3 children and their children had children)

This book focuses on August and Harmony. Harmony is back home for Christmas after 2 years away in Australia. When her home life fell apart when her mom announced that she was getting divorced from Harmony’s dad and marrying someone else, Harmony was angry and cut off a lot of contact with her mom. Now, she’s back home to spend the Christmas holidays with her mom, her husband, and his son August. As soon as August met Harmony, he immediately knew that she was the one for him and refused to let her slip through his fingers. He went after her right away and didn’t shy away from the relationship due to their parents being married. He knew what he wanted and did everything he could to win Harmony over. This was a great story!

What an awesome Christmas read! I love Harmony and how she runs through her emotions regarding her mother and new husband. You feel the tension, the guilt and the longing to make amends. Then, if the stress of all of that isn't enough, add the hot stepbrother, August to the mix. Now there's a different kind of tension in the house and it's irresistible. August is a man determined and he's determined to make Harmony his...swoon.

I love this story and its very happy ending. It is the perfect blend of romance and sexy that brings you Christmas joy!.

Harmony was very unhappy when her parents got divorced and even was angry when her mother got engaged to her boss. She decided to leave home and go to Australia with her friend to avoid the situation. It is now two years later and she has returned home to make amends with her mom. She is ready to spend time with her mother, her new stepdad and her new stepbrother August. When she first sees August, she cant keep her eyes off him because she is so attracted to him. When he flirts with her back, Harmony has to decide whether she should follow her heart or try to please her mother. August just wants Harmony to be his.

Harmony coming home to her Mom and is on her way to meet her new Step-Dad and Step Brother. As she gets into an Uber she meets the hot driver. But, he’s not just the Uber driver he’s her new step brother. August wants to get to know Harmony better, his instant love for her is being put on brakes by Harmony. Since they are step sibilings, technically only by marriage nothing blood related. Anyways, I love how Harmony tries to fight it, but they have hot chemistry that they can’t control. Being alone doesn’t help either. They find their ways to dark corners and get busy. Eyebrows waggle. I am not being a grown up right now.
