DESIRE IS A DANGEROUS GAMBLE

For over a century, I’ve kept Las Vegas’s underworld in check—ensuring deals are made, debts are paid, and the fragile truce between Heaven and Hell holds. It’s a thankless job, an endless cycle of favors and threats, and I’ve grown tired of it.

Then Zephyr waltzes into my life. A red-haired incubus with a sweet smile and a talent for aerial silks, he’s the newest star at The Devil’s Dollhouse, the city’s most infamous demon-owned strip club. I tell myself it’s just curiosity, just temptation. I’ll get him out of my system and move on. Then one night turns into two, and three and, before I know it, he’s under my skin. He’s an obsession I can’t afford.

But the Dollhouse’s corrupt owner has his own agenda, and I’m the key to making it happen. Refusing the job could spell disaster. Accepting it could start a war. With Zephyr caught in the middle, the wrong choice might cost me more than just my heart.

Arc Review: Airborne (Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Book 1) by Quinn Cameron
MC:Zephyr & Beck 3.5⭐

“Zephyr snickered, then bent. Backward. Arching toward me in a perfect back bridge—slow, theatrical, obscene in its grace—and landing with his palms flat on the floor on either side of my hips. His face hovered inches from my cock.
I swallowed as my erection stiffened to full attention.
“Do you understand yet?” he asked, voice low and velvety.
“I think I’ve got the picture.”
He tilted his head, looking impish. No, make that devilish, in the best possible way.
“Good,” he hummed. “Because I’m hungry, Daddy. Can you feed me?”
I ran a hand down my face, already sweating. “For fuck’s sake. You’re turning that word into a goddamn weapon.”

🩷 Angels are the bad guys?

A jaded demon broker.
A shy virgin incubus.
A strip club run by monsters and misfits.

A virgin incubus? Wow. That alone hooked me immediately. Such a fun and unusual premise.

This was a really intriguing start to the series and I was instantly curious about the whole baby demon concept and the world around them. That said, it does suffer a bit from first-book syndrome. There are quite a few side characters clearly being set up for future books, and sometimes it felt like that took some focus away from Beck and Zephyr.

The world itself is interesting, but I did finish the book with more questions than answers. I still don’t fully understand what Beck’s job actually is, and the situation with his ex was never completely clear to me either. I also wanted more details about the demon side of things and how everything works. Still, the premise is strong and I’m definitely curious enough to keep reading.

Beck was… a bit rough for me at the start. His hot-and-cold attitude toward Zephyr really irritated me, and the way he assumed things about him because he’s an incubus didn’t sit well. The language he uses at times — calling Zephyr a whore, slut, stripper in a very derogatory way — gave me the ick. I get that he had his own baggage and assumptions, but it was still uncomfortable to read. I also wasn’t fully convinced by Beck’s character growth. He had a lot to work through, and for me it felt like that transformation needed a bit more page time.

Thankfully he does get his act together eventually, and when the shift happens it becomes much softer and almost worshipful, which I actually loved. That dynamic worked really well for me by the end and the daddy dynamics worked really well for both characters, even if this relantionshi starts and is build based on sex, because incubus 😀

Zephyr was easy to root for from the start, his neediness, innocence really made him a likable character. I only wish we had gotten more description of his performances. They’re described as beautiful and mesmerizing, but I wanted a bit more detail so I could really picture them. Some scenes were surprisingly emotional too. Their first really intimate moment felt very tender and vulnerable, and that one got to me more than I expected.

And Mazzy? Absolutely not. I hated him. What a sleazeball.

The writing sometimes leans a bit too much into telling rather than showing. We spend a lot of time in the characters’ heads explaining feelings and motivations, and I think some of the development would have felt stronger if we had seen more of it through actions instead. There were also moments where the pacing felt a little rushed, especially when moving between events.

I also have to praise all the dancers, especially Darby, who played such an important role in Zephyr’s growth, and Collet — because honestly, who wouldn’t want a protective hellhound watching their back? The found family aspect was also extremely important for Zephyr, and you could really feel how much that support system helped him change and grow.

I read Hounded and absolutely loved it — one of my favorite reads of 2025 — so it was really fun to be back in this universe, this time in Vegas, meeting a whole new cast of characters at the Dollhouse. There are so many personalities there and they all felt distinct, and I already have a few favorites I’m hoping we’ll get to know much better in the next books. And i think i read a little of an easter egg about a certain Phoenix ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

So while it wasn’t perfect for me, I’m definitely invested and looking forward to the next book.

“Let the Dollhouse belong to its devils.”

This book had such an interesting and unique premise; I really enjoyed it! Set in a AU where angels and demons walk the street alongside humans, the book follows new incubus demon picked fresh from hell, Zephyr. Aerialist Zephyr is recruited into strip club The Dollhouse by shady wraith Maslow. But Maslow is stealing the dancers’ energy as well as selling their bodies, leaving them broken and exhausted.

This book didn’t shy away from the horrible life that Zephyr was forced to lead as a sex worker (Maslow . Even his love interest Beck initially treats him as nothing more than a toy to be used and discarded, but his opinion changes markedly the more time he spends with Zephyr. I enjoyed Beck’s character growth arc and also his banter with his best friend and associate, badass hellhound Collette.

I adored the found-family of dancers and I’m very excited for future books about them! The threat of the Angels trying to take over Las Vegas one card game at a time kept me hooked and I want to know more!

This one lost a star for me because I felt there was a huge power imbalance between Beck and Zephyr that was never truly evened out and I prefer my couples to be on even footing by the end. I also could have done without the Daddy/Baby pet names, but that’s just me…

Overall a great read and an amazing start to this series!

Airborne is an amazing start to a fascinating universe.

I received an early copy of this book in exchange for an honest review, and honestly, I loved this book from the epilogue.

In a Vegas that has been divided by the politics of angels and demons, The Dollhouse - a nightclub club on the demon’s side of the city- serves human and demons alike with a variety of demon dancers. When Beck walks into the club one night to try and seal a deal with a client, he’s entranced by Zephyr, the young incubus who goes by Ruby. With his aerial skills routine and alluring innocence, Zephyr is impossible to resist.

This book has everything: complex, layered characters, visual storytelling that makes you feel immersed, a growing universe that had me feral to know more, supporting characters that *actually support* the story rather than being background noise, excellent spice 👀 and some seriously quotable moments.

I loved this and I can see this series being one of the highlights of the year.

I loved this book. I loved the characters (both the main and side), I loved the world building and I loved the development of the romance between the two characters.
Zephyr and Beck are two idiots that have no idea what they are doing and I really related to that, having said that the relationship comes today beautifully.
Hurt/comfort is a main theme running though this book so please make sure you read the content warnings.
I cannot wait for more books in this series, there are so many characters stories I want to read about.
Thoroughly recommend.

I received this ebook as an ARC but this is a completely honest review.

Quinn is a new to me author and I am so glad I picked up Airborne, book 1 in the Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Series. It was, for lack of better words, so good. The MCs, secondary characters and the world being built between Demons and Angels I ate it up. I can't wait to see where the story will continue.

You couldn't have asked for two more opposite MC's, yet perfect for each other.

Beck has been around a long time and he gives you the impression he has seen it all, and he is innately suspicious. He has taken part in all sorts of nefarious deals, seen the worst in the world around him, but his denial (I can't call it naivety) of what the Dollhouse really was showed how truly he was stuck.

Meanwhile there is Zephyr. Brand new baby bird, he needs attention, reassurance, and he just doesn't know there is so, so much more out there. He just wants to soar, see the world he lost and hopefully survive.

Most of the story takes place between the walls of the Dollhouse and there are five other dancers. I loved the found family with Darby taking lead. I would love for Darby to find his own no strings attached love. He's a handful, they all are actually. They managed to not let their spirits break despite the club owners nefarious behaviors.

Beck has a bodyguard named Collette, and she made every scene she was in enjoyable. From her strange awareness of sex to telling Beck the hard truths.

The cover drew me in instantly and the description had me feral to read this book. It most definitely didn't disappoint!

In this world, Angels and Demons are running Las Vegas. The story mostly centers around Zephyr, a newly raised incubus who goes by the stage name Cherry, and Beck, a centuries old demon who's had his heart broken one too many times not be cynical. Their paths cross at The Devil's Dollhouse and sparks fly pretty much instantly. The owner of the The Dollhouse is pretty scummy, even for a demon, and Beck knows he has to keep his promise to Zephyr to make things better.

There are some miscommunications and restarts along the way but I enjoyed seeing how their relationship grew. Some parts are their dynamic are not usually my cup of tea but I did really like the story and I'm interested to read more books in this series. The other dances at The Devil's Dollhouse are fascinating and I'm looking forward to learning more about them and this world.

3/5. It was… um… It lacked. It lacked, and that sucks because the premise was interesting. It kinda felt like the same song and dance we’ve seen before, but add in copious amounts of nothing in places something desperately needed to be. Oh, and twincest. Like, they’re side characters, but not everyone has morality issues with incest. Some of us just have trauma, buddies, and it would’ve been nice to know before I made the choice to pick up the ARC. I did my best to ignore it overall for the sole reason that just because it’s not my jam doesn’t mean someone else isn’t keen to make their toast, ya know? It just wasn’t for me. I’m sure someone out there is going to count this as their forever #1, but it’s not me.

Okay but LISTEN.

Airborne (Sinful Nights & Neon Lights Book 1) by Quinn Cameron (out April 3rd, 2026) I could not put this ARC down.

Demons. Incubi. Vegas. A morally exhausted underworld boss. And a red-haired aerialist incubus working at a demon-owned strip club. What could possibly go wrong? 😌

The chemistry is SO good. It’s spicy and sweet in that very Quinn way — obsession creeping in, tension building, feelings catching everyone off guard. Zephyr is soft and lethal at the same time and I loved him.

If I’m being picky? I wanted a little more roughness. I know Quinn can push the characters harder, and this felt slightly sweeter than I expected. But for book one, it sets the table perfectly for the chaos that’s clearly coming.

5⭐
3.5🌶️

I’m already impatient for book two. and 3-4-5.

A demon strip club, a newly made incubus, a rich demon lawyer and lots of tension and pretty much the epitome of what Rihanna was talking about with loving the smell of sex in the air! A worthwhile read and a great story of identity, standing up for yourself, (a lot of sex) and finding a family you didn’t know you needed! The whole cast is a fun bunch and a great first intro to this series!!!

I was lucky to read this as a beta, and I adored it then and rereading the ARC version did not change my mind. I love that this is in the same universe as the Hounded duology and that we get essentially the fall out from that book in this series. One thing I really enjoy that Quinn does well is make side characters that you love. Collette is amazing, and I adore her. I expect she will be rather prominent through the series, too, which I love. As for Beck and Zeph, they are so sweet together. I love how innocent Zeph is and how he ends up with this powerful, aged demon who literally will do anything for him. I love all of the dolls. I am so excited to see where this series goes. While every book is a standalone, the world building and drama aside from the relationships will be best read in order, and I can't wait to see how this battle for Las Vegas goes.

this book is just one more reason why my love for quinn cameron remains unassailable. as always, she has given us a fantastical world, full of characters you’ll absolutely love (or love to hate, because mazzy is just… 😡🤬🤢🤮🖕🏻)

our little incutwink, zephyr, is a virgin incubus starved for… *clears throat* …affection. he’s the babiest baby, a character you just have this visceral need to protect, because, holy hell, he really needs it. you see, mazzy—a wraith, and owner of the dollhouse and all the demons it contains—is the literal fucking worst. he’s been treating zeph and the rest of the dolls like they’re demonic capri suns; siphoning their powers until they’re fragile shells of themselves. zephyr has a particularly hard row to hoe in this situation because, as an incubus, he is also a type of siphon, but he feeds off something everyone is all too willing to share—lust. so mazzy is particularly fond of zephyr, because he is a nearly endless well of energy, he can empty him then send him out again to refill himself over and over and over. it IS a strip club, after all. lust practically drips from the walls. so it’s too damn easy for mazzy to send zephyr out into the club each night to fill up on lust like a mosquito, so he can steal all but the tiniest bit of sustenance from zephyr, leaving just enough to be sure the little incubus can live to dance another night

enter daddy beck. *swoon* a higher demon who is the total package—sexy as sin, rich, smart, conniving, and badass. *recovers from previous swoon only two swoon again* he also comes with a sidekick in the form of a hellhound bestie (who is a mega-badass in her own right) you’re also going to adore. (for more on quinn’s hellhounds, refer to loren in her hounded omnibus, because these two series exist in the same world) beck’s powers are unfathomable, mostly because we don’t even plumb the depths of them in this book. but he’s absolutely done for once he gets his hands on the incubssy

zephyr is an incredibly tragic character because, as the reader, you can really appreciate how drained and starved he actually is, and how terrified he is of mazzy. and mazzy is a villain in the truest sense—he just becomes more and more deplorable every single time his name comes up on the page. beck is truly the only one who could save zephyr and the rest of the dolls. so even though there are definitely times you won’t like beck very much, it never lasts long enough for you to legitimately dislike him

a heady mix of extremes, this world is so dazzlingly full of light and sound and color. the dancers—zephyr, darby, colt, callum, oz, and elliot—are all really dynamic and lovable characters individually, that fit together in weirdly wonderful ways to forge a close-knit family, bound together with trauma, shared tragedy, care, and love

this one is dark though—so read the triggers, and mind them!

quinn’s imagination is a place i want to live. her worlds and characters always feel so tangibly *alive* that reading them makes me feel like i’m sitting down with a lifelong friend while they spill the tea about what they’ve been up to since we last talked. she always leaves me wanting to hear from her characters again and again, in perpetuity. in this, i have genuinely lucked out, because this is a series! a big one too. each of the dancers gets their own book (except the twins, who share a book). so these are comfort characters who aren’t going to slip through your fingers like sand. you get to hold onto them for awhile. to sit with them and share their stories. you can climb inside the pages of these books and enjoy every single moment of life in the dollhouse

quinn, for all of that, i tip my hat to you. it just so happens to be a sharp looking stetson i found stacked with a bunch of others on an unoccupied bunk bed in a room that reeks of sex and envy…

I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest review.

I wanted it like this one, I really did and I feel bad whenever I get an ARC and end up giving it a low review but this one just kind of had a lot of issues that bothered me personally, that after a certain point I couldn’t overlook.

My issues:

I really wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt when I started it but we immediately got off onto the wrong foot with surprise incest between identical twins who are prominent side characters. That was extremely awkward and uncomfortable and it wasn’t subtle or wink wink nudge nudge either. It’s literal twin on twin incest and there are no warnings, and incest isn’t something that should be a surprise and is definitely not something for me, it’s a huge ick. To each their own.

The book was also way too long for how superficial the plot felt. I don’t know if it needed that many sex scenes to get the point across but that’s a personal preference and if that’s your thing, it’s all good. There was a LOT of tell, don’t show going on which I think really bogged things down. I thought

The thing with Beck’s ex was awkward and unresolved and clearly there’s still more that’s going to happen there. The character himself seemed cool, and I was interested in him. But not so interested in whatever is unresolved between him and Beck.

I didn’t feel a whole lot of a connection to either of the characters honestly. It was just kind of lacking something that I can’t really put my finger on.

What I did like:

Quinn’s a super talented writer. I think it’s easy to get bogged down in details, especially starting up a new series and I hope that with another book or two in, things will relax a bit. (though I don’t think we need constant descriptions of everyone’s designer clothes every time they enter the room).

The boys in general all felt like unique characters, if a bit overly tropey (there’s nothing wrong with that). I liked Colette, I liked Darby. Maz was a shitty villain (in the way he was supposed to be).

The cover. It's so nice and so is the next one. Illustrated covers are so hit and miss for me but this is a+

Even if it was entirely unintentional, from the very beginning, like minutes into the book I clocked the vibes that Zephyr was basically Angeldust, and Maz was Val. I guess grumpy Beck was kinda husk-ish. That’s not a bad thing but it was totally hard to shake that image from my head the entire time I was reading it.

All in all. This one ended up being not the right fit for me, and I probably won’t continue with the rest of the series in the future. But I do think that there’s a lot of potential here, so who knows what might happen.

But idk, in the future maybe tag the incest.

I received my copy yesterday, and I just flew through it immediately, not being able to put it down.

Airbourne is a really nice introduction to this series, letting you get acquainted with the setting and the characters, that we’ll be following throughout the series. I already have my favorites, and I’m very much looking forward to the next book.

My positives:
- I finished Hounded recently, and it felt good to be back in the same universe, this time in Vegas. It’s fun to explore Quinn’s version of angels and demons and seeing her play with established tropes and turning them a bit on the head.
- There were so many different kind of characters in the Dollhouse, and they all felt unique. I’m looking forward to getting to know them better in future books
- Even though the story was kinda predictable, that wasn’t a negative for me. I feel like we’ve seen version of this story before, but with the different setting I still found it very enjoyable.

The reason I’m “only” giving it 3 stars:
- During the book, I felt we got a lot af telling, not showing. We spend a lot of time in the characters heads, being told about things that they were feeling and perceiving, and explaining why they were doing this or that. It does not have to be a bad thing necessarily, I still enjoyed the book, but I do think it sometimes took a bit away from the character developments. It would have been interesting to be shown this change in their actions instead of being guided through it via their thoughts.
- The writing also seemed a bit rushed at times, when the story plot needed to be moved forward. This might just be my personal preference, but I’m not a fan of listing out what happened in quick succession, to let us know what happened in between two chapters or two scenes. At one point it also had me confused as to how much time had passed between two scenes, and I had to go back and reread it a few times to make sure I was following
- I appreciated how Beck was a flawed character, and at times I did wanna reach through the screen and shake him a bit, but I didn’t 100% buy his character development. It seemed like he had a lot to work through, throughout the book, and for me, it seemed like he may have needed more pages to do it
- After finishing the book, I’m also not sure I understand what the problem between him and his ex was? I don’t believe that was ever explained and through the actions of the ex, he came across as kinda nice, so I’m slightly confused

Was I crying at this book at 3am because I couldn't put it down? Yes, yes I was. Quinn Cameron has just produced the newest and most exciting series so far this year and I would recommend to anyone who enjoys high angst, dark fantasy romances where the stakes are high and the emotions are higher!

Our two MCs could not be more different. Zephyr/Cherry is the sweetest, gentlest little bird of an MC who needs to be wrapped in a million blankets and given all the lovely things. Cuteness aggression 100% engaged for this wounded baby cinnamon roll.

Beck is jaded, tired and suspicious. He falls for Zephyr despite himself and the preconceived notions he has about his Beauty. At times he isn't all that likeable, but he is always compelling and I loved him as an MC even if I wanted to throttle him occasionally.

The plot was mostly character led as the two met again and again within the walls of the club and their romance developed from a one night stand into a fierce need and protectiveness. But there was also the question of how Beck was going to deal with the awful things that the club owner was putting Zephyr through and whether Zephyr would ever be free. Expect some on page non-consensual touching and threats of sexual assault, slavery, coercion, and mental/emotional abuse.

But Zephyr is not alone in the club - there is a whole found family of dancers who hopefully will all get their own stories! They all have very different, very vivid personalities and I adored every single one! Beck also has a bodyguard called Colette which was hilarious, fierce and sweet and I loved every single scene she was in. So not only do we have two compelling MCs and a storyline that at times was edge of your seat stuff, but we have a wonderful cast of secondary characters that I really hope we see more of.

This is a wonderful entry into the fantasy romance genre and I'm so excited to see where Quinn goes next with it!

I received an advanced reader copy and I am leaving my honest opinions voluntarily.

I may be biased, because Quinn Cameron was my favourite new author of 2025, but truly we are in for something special with this new series. While it takes place in the Houndedverse - a short time after the events of Ashes to Ashes - you can absolutely pick it up on its own, as this series starts expanding on Earth with demons and angels running around in it - in Las Vegas, no less!

This series continues with what Quinn excels at - characterization and internal voice, brilliantly emotional prose and a dramatic storyline with tons of juicy action, but this time, she really starts flexing with the spice. These are HIGH HEAT, very fun, and Airborne manages not only a great storyline, but also a very effective intro to the Dollhouse and its residents that has me absolutely salivating for the next books.

The main setting - a demonic strip club, employing a lineup of sexy infernal men to fit any taste and preference - is the perfect backdrop for the colourful cast. Airborne focuses on Beck, a grouchy, jaded wheeler and dealer who makes his Earthly living making deals with the devil (it's him, the devil is him lol). He has a loyal, snarky, (very) French hellhound at his side, who was highlight of the whole book for me, with plenty of friendly banter and playful teasing about Beck's bad decisions.

Namely, the bad decision to get involved with the club's newest performer - the fresh-to-Earth incubus Zephyr, who is the SWEETEST BABY. Seriously, he's sympathetic and fun, and the entire time I just wanted to scream at the book to stop making him cry!! :( Fortunately, Beck does eventually dry all those tears, and fans of idiots-to-lovers will definitely enjoy the process of them getting there.)

Because this is definitely a darker story, I do suggest that you check the trigger warnings if you need to, but I can definitely say that this book was a great time, I had a blast reading it, and I think you will, too.

For this one please make sure you check the authors CWs before heading in. It is not overly dark but there are Heavy topics discussed like tr@fficking, and even though these are demons/souls being tr@fficked It's still alot. It's also big on the Hurt/Comfort and your mental health matters so just make sure you take a peek beforehand.

🌶🌶🌶.5

Zephyr was pulled from Hell to work for Maslow in his strip club the Dollhouse. Zephyr is an incubus and Maslow was hoping to use him for more then just stripping and expand his business into other avenues 🤨😒 Beck is a Higher Demon who works with Deals and one night when meeting with a client he got sucked into the Dollhouse during Zephyr's aerial act and was just enamored. Beck being much older and knowledgeable in the ways of incubi was very reluctant to start anything with Zephyr...but one night couldn't hurt right....wrong...of course...Beck is just hooked on Zephyr and from the times he is with him he can tell there is so much more going on at the Dollhouse then what people think. Beck has to figure out now if Zephyr is worth all the trouble of him sticking his nose in there to figure out what's really going on.
Ok this is a VERY obtuse outline here to avoid spoilers. I will say I felt like I was on the edge of tears alot here like one little push and boom waterfall. My heart literally broke for Zephyr and honestly all the guys at the Dollhouse. Don't even get me started on Darby I'm glad his book is next..but man I have a feeling it's gonna hurt. I did read the CWs before heading into this so I was slightly prepared but again make sure you check those because this isn't just some fun stripper book though it may look that way, there is a darker undertone that runs through the plot. The HEA is hard earned here and does go right up until the end so hang in there and it will absolutely be worth it!

Quinn has started to become a go to author for me. The writing is always done beautifully and intriguing from the start. The storyline was really fresh be different. While this book was great, I feel like I was a bit more interested in some of the side characters over the two main MMC in this. I’m a slow burn girly, and when I see ‘virgin incubus’, I didn’t think Zephyr would be begging for Beck the way he did quite early on. I thought there would be a bit more emotional build up before that happened, which is what I prefer in my books. The ‘daddy’ theme kinda threw me too. Like, it just appeared all of a sudden then Zephyr was calling Beck ‘Daddy’ a bunch. I’m not necessarily opposed, but it’s not usually my cup of tea. I’m glad Darby’s book is next. I like the sass and how he holds their little found family together, so I hope he gets the care he deserves in his book. I also hope we find out more about Stefano and some of the history there even if it was Beck’s ex and we’re moving on to the next doll. It just seems like some of the issues in this story didn’t get resolved. I’m unsure about the twins. Callum seems sweet, but I’m not sure if I like him with Colt. Surprised there was no warning or heads up on it too. Love me the brooding, quiet type though, and the soft sweet Himbo, so seems like I might enjoy Oz and Elliot’s stories when they come out.

Zephyr & Beck

Billionaire Romance vibes
Incubus Stripper / Millionaire Demon
Grumpy Sunshine
Age gap
Idiots to lovers
Age gap
Plenty of spice
Third act break up

Wow, what a unique story this was. A virgin incubus trapped by a “Bad Guy” and forced to do S@x work… super unique premise. Then a Demon saves the day … maybe?

This was a good, unique plot, great side characters, and interesting world building. You can tell immediately a lot of time and effort went into the characters and world that is created in this book. I am a fantasy book lover, this almost reads like one of my fantasy books for sure.

These two were a pinch of a slow burn in the relationship aspect, not in the spice way lol The spice was so good. The neediness, the hunger of Zephyr was top tier, light daddy vibes too … sheesh, these two were hot.

I am really looking forward to seeing what else comes from this world as we did meet so many characters… Some I love and some I hate, lol … Mazzy … shakes fist lol Some I am interested to see more of.

This was challenging at times. What Zephyr goes through, the world he is forced into is not a nice one that's for sure.

Huge found family aspects in this world. I really enjoyed that.

I adored how Beck fought for Zephyr in the end.

I really enjoyed this. Really unique.

So thankful or this arc

What can I say other than WELCOME TO THE DOLLHOUSE!!

Airborne is an incredible start to what promises to be a dark, deliciously addictive series—and I’m already hooked! If you love high-angst, dark fantasy, heartbreak, and romance that slaps you right in the feels—this book is your jam.

I laughed, I cried, I emotionally spiralled and honestly…I loved every single page. The characters are iconic, the world-building is next-level, and the romance had me in a chokehold.

The setting...Oh, nothing wild—just a demonic strip club packed with irresistible eye candy ready to indulge every sinful craving. Truly the ultimate playground for this chaotic, colourful cast

Our MCs couldn’t be more different: Zephyr (aka Cherry) is just the sweetest baby, who deserves all the love, cuddles and has a heart far too soft for the world he’s in—I just wanted to be his friend. Meanwhile, Beck is a grumpy, world-weary demon who makes a living cutting deals for the devil. Toss in his snarky, very French hellhound sidekick, and the result is nonstop banter, plenty of sass, and gloriously bad decisions.

This book leans into hurt/comfort vibes and definitely dances on the darker side, so check those trigger warnings if needed. But if you’re ready for a thrilling, emotional, and wickedly fun read, Airborne will not disappoint. I swear you’re going to feel ALL the feels. Trust me, read it.

Also FU Mazzy, I disliked you from the beginning!

A new circus is in town

In the best way.

Quinn Cameron is a new-to-me author, so I was taking a risk with this one. Needless to say, it paid off. Quinn's writing hooks you immediately, and the rest is history. Book 1 sets a solid foundation for the expansion of this fantasy/paranormal world where demons and angels have taken over Las Vegas—and split it right down the middle.

Our MCs are both demons (one centuries old, the other newly minted) who find love in the demon-owned nightclub The Devil's Dollhouse (our MC is one of those dolls). But what happens when the forces of evil (and good??) conspire to keep them apart?

Here's what you're getting with Airborne:
✔️Fantasy/paranormal romance
✔️World/character building
✨ Found family
✨ Hurt/comfort
✨ Opposites attract
✨ Daddy vibes
✨ Angel mafia?!
🌶️ 🥵 Spice

If you're a fan of Lily Mayne's Goliaths of Wrestling and want the same gaggle of ridiculous baddies but darker, this is for you.

What more do you need to know? Read it! And strap in for more.

(Also, shoutout to Darby, the baddest mama bear/best friend in town.)

Airborne
By Quinn Cameron
3.75 ⭐️

I read the ARC for this first book in the Sinful Nights and anion Lights series and this was a blast. It follows a group of some of the seven deadly sins demon performers at a strip bar in Las Vegas. Think angels and demons mixed with Coyote Ugly and Pretty Woman.

This book follows Zephyr, who symbolises Lust, who is an incubus and Beck who is a higher, deal maker demon. Zephyr is precious, his backstory and trauma is so raw. The romance and journey between our two MMCs is engaging, sweet and hot although the spice does maybe become a little repetitive by the end.

The concept of the book is brilliant and I haven’t read anything else quite like it. I adore the found family and cannot wait to see how their stories will continue the exploration of this world. I can’t decide whose book I am most excited for.

This was my first book from Quinn Cameron and I will definitely be checking out more of her back catalogue whilst awaiting the next instalment of this series.

Airborne (Sinful Nights and Neon Lights #1) by Quinn Cameron
Airborne completely surprised me. I went in not knowing what to expect, but Zephyr and his demon friends had me emotionally invested so quickly. What they went through honestly had my heart hurting.
And Maslow… I don’t think I’ve hated a fictional character more. The rage was real.
Ancient contract demon Beck was was fighting his interest for Zephyr so hard but Zephyr’s innocence and charm had him obsessed. But it makes you wonder… was it truly just Zephyr’s innocence and charm that got Beck enthralled or was it incubus poison?.. *eyebrow wiggle*
One of my absolute favorite characters ended up being Colette. She completely stole the show for me as a side character. A badass French hellhound quietly running things from the sidelines? Yes please.
That ending was so satisfying until Quinn left it wide open with possibilities and now I’m seriously itching for the next book in the series. Who from Devil's dolls will be next!!??
Thank you to GRR for the ARC!

This is my first Quinn Cameron read and what a way to start 😍

Welcome to the Devils Dollhouse, a den of sin and seduction that has sweet, innocent and hopeful Zephyr trapped in its grasp. Enter Beck - somewhat cold and stagnant in his role of contract demon, immediately entranced by the new incubus aerialist at the Dollhouse.

Zeph and Becks story is delicious, full of yearning, filthy stolen moments and plenty of sweet ones. The story swings from falling in love to putting certain creepy asf demons in their place, with some... Interesting divine involvement. Zeph and Beck finally gets all the love they deserve, and it totally breaks my heart a little in the process but its so worth it.

The supporting cast of characters is amazing, from the Dolls that are trapped alongside Zephyr, to the ever hilarious Colette putting Beck in his place, there is not a moment I didn't enjoy reading. I cannot wait to continue reading this series and discover more from all of the Dolls.

Thank you to the author for the gifted ARC.

🌶️🌶️🌶️/5

Airborne made me cry. It was so emotional and well-written. The story kept me engaged, and I loved the main and side characters.

Zephyr was so cute and nice… even too nice, bordering on naive, unfortunately. He had a rough start, and some people just took advantage of that. His dynamic with Beck felt really unbalanced at first, but they are just perfect for each other, and there was no way they wouldn’t have worked it out.

If I must be honest, the whole time I was just waiting for the emotions to pick up. Fast burn/slow romance is definitely torture, let me tell you. The hurt/comfort trope was done amazingly as well. I felt awful for what Zephyr was going through most of the book, and I just wanted things to get better already.

Lastly, I’m pretty sure this book just took me out of a reading slump. The last 100-150 pages had me on the edge of my seat. Definitely recommend. I’m so curious what Quinn has in store for the next books and can’t wait to find out.

3.5 stars

although the romance didn’t do much for me, the main relationship was healthy and had some very sweet moments that showed the characters genuinely care for each other. i just didn’t find the dynamic that interesting and more enjoyed the platonic relationships between the characters, especially the dancers.

i think, besides the intriguing theme of devils and angels, the characters are the story’s strongest suit. even Steffano, that mostly haunts the narrative before his short appearance, has layers and motives beyond a few pages of one book. it sets up the series and this world in a really interesting way. i truly cared about the boys at the Dollhouse, their relationships and struggles. it will be a joy to read more about them in the future.

overall, this specific plot and relationship just weren’t for me but i still enjoyed reading it and look forward to more from the series.

Airborne by Quinn Cameron 5⭐️ 5🌶️

I am in love!
This book, this world, these characters!
Give me more!

This book had me in a chokehold from the first few chapters and it didn’t let me go.

Zephyr and Beck are adorable, they have my whole heart and I desperately need to read more from this world.

Zephyr is a sweet virgin incubus, and Beck is his grouchy demon Daddy who will stop at nothing to save his boy!

Mix in accidental nibbles, spicey spicey sexy time and a beautiful found family vibe and you get an outstanding read.

It’s rare that book one of a series grabs me like this. It’s the first I’ve read from this author, and I’m now going to see what else I can devour while I wait for the next book.

Thank you @cquinnwrite

Well damn... Reding the blurb I got the feeling that this book might be really good, but I had absolutely no idea that I will LOVE it so much.

The characters were a delight, and I'm not just talking about the main characters because this book had the most amazing side characters you could ever ask for. But let's start with the MCs. Zephyr is the sweetest baby that must be protected at all cost, and Beck ... well, Beck will do everything for him, and despite beeing entirely different, they completed each other perfectly.

Now on to the side characters. I must admit that Colette was my favorite 😁 but Darby was right behind her, and I can't wait for the rest of the Dollhouse crew to get their stories.

The story was fast paced, it was emotional, funny at times and it kept me on the edge of my seat practically to the end. Oh, and the heat? It was hot, veeeery hot 🔥🔥🔥

Incredible. I was so torn beyond wanting to devour this book and never wanting it to end. (Also obsessed with the tiny nod to hounded)
Airborne follow Zephyr and Beck as our MC’s in a world where angels and demons are running Vegas all set in a demon strip club.
Zephyr is simply the sweetest most innocent precious baby who manages to land himself an extremely powerful albeit slightly jaded demon who looks after him exactly as he needs. Their story honestly does such an incredible job setting up the rest of the series while not taking away from their journey. It was perfect, wholesome and such a delight to read even during the times when I wanted to reach into the book and backhand Beck.
Thank you so much quinn for the arc opportunity I am beyond excited for the rest of the series to be released.

This was an absolutely beautiful story. I adored Zephyr very much. I loved how he was written. He was not just a lust crazed Incubus, but a young and innocent one who disliked what his nature entailed. At least he hated the idea of not having autonomy and I loved this part. There were many times I wanted to wrap him up in a burrito blanket and just hold him. I also wanted to smack Beck at certain times cause he was being a dimwit and not understanding that our little baby really did not understand his nature. I didn't want it to end but that little teaser for Darby, how rude. I need more please.

This was my first book by Quinn Cameron. Zephyr and Beck's story was well-written, but I found quite a bit of the subject matter to be unpleasant and occasionally upsetting (review content warnings before reading). There was a sense of dread permeating the story that I didn't enjoy, and the exploitation of the dancers at the Dollhouse was difficult to read. Also, the climax seemed rushed, which was surprising since this was a rather long book. Still, the resolution for both the MCs and the other side characters was satisfying and heartwarming.
