Racing’s most talked-about couple is back! Not that they ever really left. Drew Mask has achieved legendary status since New Revolution Racing was founded—a division he helped pioneer. A division filled with underdogs that many said would crash and burn before it even got started. Well, it’s been over a decade since no-rules racing debuted, and it’s hotter than ever with no plan to hit the brakes anytime soon. But what about Mask? Since hurtling into the spotlight, this most-loved professional street racer has won a mind-boggling number of championships, amassed an astonishing list of division records, and become the most decorated and accomplished driver in the NRR. Incredible feats, most of which he accomplished after a near-fatal crash. Perhaps, though, what makes Drew Mask truly a legend is that his influence extends beyond his driving career. He and his hottie of a husband, Trent, have been an iconic force in normalizing same-sex relationships in professional sports. So when whispers of retirement made it to our ears here at GearShark, we decided it was time to catch up with our favorite couple to see how they’ve managed to balance it all while keeping their #manlove alive and, of course, if those rumors of retirement are fake news or verified.

I have to say, even though I’m glad we’ve grown in romance books where it’s no longer the “ cliche alpha male” bs all the time, sometimes it’s so fun to read the protective alpha male bs😭
BUT. some of the pda in this is OTT like extremely OTT. I don’t know how I would react if I saw my parents making out against walls all the time 😭
I knew going into this that there was no way it wouldn’t be a 4 or 5 star read for me. I’m completely head over heels in love with this drew and Trent and the entire family, I would’ve read an entire book about their shopping lists if CH released it. this was filled with their usual cheesy dialogues and protective / possessive mc’s with their family above all dynamic but with added moments with their kids who’re all teenagers now!!! That’s so crazy😭😭
“I’ll crack. You whisk.” “I’ll eat,” Travis put in. “That’s really generous, Trav,” Trent replied “Thank you, son.”
manlove had a wonderful plot with quite a lot going on for 200 pages. I’m actually impressed by the authors ability to fit everything, while giving every plotline equal attention 💗 there were laughs and tears and scares and cringe moments but oh god I loved it so so much
“Did you just come out as straight to us?” Trent asked. I blinked. “I hate to break it to you,” Travis said sincerely, “but I like girls… a lot.” Trent nodded sagely. “We support you no matter who you love.” A laugh bubbled out of me. And then another.”
I kept looking at the pages left because I truly did not want it to end. I really hope that one day we get the kids stories because I would love to remain in this hashtag world
The only thing that kind of annoyed me, or I guess got tiring, was the constant mention of “family” and they’re all a family and it’s not blood. It’s pretty much implied in the way their dynamic is written and the author did a great job writing the series in a way that we KNOW they’re all family. But the constant reminders we get is honestly a turn off

💗🤞✨you guys I’m going to actually throw up because what do you mean my favorite couple EVER is getting another book??? Idc if it’s only 200 pages, I’m going to read those 200 pages everyday this entire year - talk about a 2026 resolution 😭
A high-pitched whistle interfered with my good time, and Trent chuckled into the kiss. When he retreated, I growled and tried to pull him back, but he just grabbed my hands and kissed them quickly, eyes dancing with happiness. "I am one lucky bastard." I shook my head once, forcing the words through a hoarse throat. "I'm the lucky one." "Who's the one-upper now?" he mused.
i love Trent and Drew so much. 😭😭 i loved seeing their life years later with kids and surrounded with the same loving people who've been there for them since their first book. i also just loved seeing them be as happily in love as ever. possessive Drew will always be my favorite. 🤪
It was fun catching up with Drew and Trent and their crazy family! There were some really sweet moments with their kids, Andi and Travis, plus there were puppies and kittens 😍
There was definitely more drama than I expected for a novella, but saying that, I don't think a single book in this series has been drama free...
It definitely made me want more Motorsport romances though! I'm always going to love bike and car racing over every other sport so it's a shame there aren't more to read.
My fingers are definitely crossed that we get stories for Trav and his generation though!
Trent and Drew are one of my favorite couples, and I love revisiting them at various points in their relationship. This story continues to move forward, with new events and updates on their marriage and family. It was both fun and poignant to revisit these two as they navigate upcoming changes in their personal and professional lives.
Another fun element of this story is the witty banter and sizzling chemistry these two still have after all these years. Seeing them mature while evolving as fathers and husbands is always a joy, and hopefully, there will be more from these characters in the future. The ending left me optimistic.
*** I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story.***
This series has long been one of my all time favourites and I was do happy to see Cambria returning to it yo celebrate the 10th anniversary of #GearShark.
Trent and Drew are a favourite couple, everything they've been through to get to their HEA and so I was looking forward to seeing them living their best lives with their found family.
And, in the main, that's what I got, with a nice side plot of tension coming from an external threat to family life which I thought worked very well.
If this is a final goodbye, it's a wonderful place to leave them in.
Note I did get an ARC, this is actually the 1st ARC I have ever gotten and it made me so happy because of who this book is based on. I have loved Trent and Drew since the beginning. Their story was the 1st M/M romance I had ever read and it honestly was so inspiring. I was so excited to be able to read this just a little bit earlier than expected.
This book was so amazing. I loved getting a peak into their lives and seeing how the Fam is doing. I enjoy that we, as readers, have an author that hears us and is happy to continue to provide a look into the lives of these characters we love so much. I loved seeing the babies (almost) all grown up. I loved seeing B & Ivy (my favorites), Rome & Rimmel, and little bits of the Gearshark group. I love that this world is so connected and when I read one book I get glimpses into the others as well. Its like "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" but better because these characters mean so much to me. I honestly don't know what else to say outside of everything Cambria writes is so good to read and I loved this book. I have very few authors that I click and buy without checking what the book is about but Cambria Hebert is one of those authors. I can't wait to add the physical book to my trophy... sorry, book shelf.
I can't believe its been 10yrs since their 1st book, it feels like yesterday. I guess that's what happens when you love a series and reread often.
The entire found fam, tons of Trew PDA and a fry-cuterie board? This 10-years-later snapshot of the original Gearshark couple is pure nostalgic perfection.
I didn't read Gearshark for the first time until a couple years ago, so I don't think it really hit me until I started reading #Manlove that Trent, Drew and crew have aged... and that the babies aren't babies anymore! (As a new mama with a little baby, this squeezed my heart a little bit) But watching all the parents deal with teenage drama (dating, driving, etc…) was hilarious! There were so many laugh out loud moments, heartfelt and sizzling love, and of course a little action and suspense! (Wouldn’t be Cambria without it) Trent and Drew are the most attentive and amazing dads! I loved seeing Travis as the responsible (and slightly rebellious) young man they’ve raised him to be and Andi as their little princess!
I will say... doing a reread of #Fate beforehand definitely set me up for peak enjoyment of this book. There are so many references to the trials and tribulations Trent and Drew have overcome throughout their relationship and how it really shaped who they and their family have become. To me, it made everything all the more sweet!
ALL THE STARS because Trent and Drew are M/M icons and #(book)couplegoals, and no one will convince me otherwise!
Sure, I’m super biased when it comes to all things Trent and Drew, having loved these characters (ALL THE CHARACTERS!!) for many, many long and wonderful reading years, across TWO interconnected series that both remain personal romance favourites to this day.
For all the long-time fangirls out there, this is a must read! As the eighth instalment in the GearShark series, we get to revisit Trent and Drew TWELVE YEARS after the angsty events that took place in book six, #Fate (the best of the series, IMHO).
With a time jump like this, we get:
☆ Silver-fox Drew, now in his forties and contemplating retirement from his epic racing career
☆ Trent being Trent, still the hottest, buffest, most loyal and centred husband and father to ever do it – seriously, THIS GUY!!! ***swooooonnnn***
☆ Once teeny little kids that are now cute tweens and snarky teenagers – ALL chips off the old blocks
☆ ALL the GearShark gang making appearances AND even more of the #Hashtag crew on-page, all living their best domestic lives as spouses and parents
☆ MORE cute pet shenanigans (I legit cried when it mentioned the passing of the pets from the previous stories)
☆ Once-upon-a-time college studs Romeo and Braeden now retired athletes, still happily married to their (still) badass women, both being as dude-bro as ever, while hilariously freaking out over their teenage daughters pending love lives
☆ Plenty of romance, intimacy and steam between genre faves Trent and Drew – who are hotter, sweeter, and more obsessed with each other than ever before, if humanly possible (5 stars – would recommend!)
☆ All the group dynamics I adored at play, still making me deliriously happy just reading about this ensemble bantering around a table on Pancake Sunday (IYKYK!!!)
☆ Plus, a tasty little dramatic-suspense sub-plot, involving a threat to Trent and Drew’s children, that was giving very “classic” Cambria Hebert OTT vibes and providing fodder to unleash all of Trent’s and Drew’s fierce protectiveness and growly feral-ness upon me to my utter pleasure.
Some may argue the whole story was unnecessary, because we got the HEA in #HEA: Happily Ever After (tehe!), but I’m such a whore for a good thing, happy to read favourite characters doing mundane things, still kicking my feet over it all in giddy delight regardless of how much the plot is/or isn’t plotting.
It probably doesn’t need to be said, but this is in no way, shape, or form a viable standalone read. Just don’t. You’d be really silly to do so and I’d think poorly of you if you tried. We wouldn’t want that.
BUT, if you are a lover of this series (better yet, both series), this is a MUST for all #Trewlove fans. I will happily read about this couple (and their now ridiculously large found family) until they’re all old and grey, and even then, it won’t be enough.
**A special thanks to the author for providing an ARC of this book. I am leaving this honest review voluntarily.
It’s been twelve years since Drew and Trent adopted their children. Life is good. They are as in love as ever. Their son, Travis, loves cars and driving as much as Drew, but after Drew’s accident, they are reluctant to let Travis have his own car. But he’s almost seventeen, so it might be time.
I’ve never read, and loved, so many books about the same couple as I have with these two. And even though it’s not a standard romance, since this is an established couple, I’m as invested as ever.
I found this book compelling. Drew and Trent’s love for each other has only hotter and more fierce. And Hebert does a great job of conveying their relationship in a way that feels fresh and hard to look away from.
Drew and Trent are parents now, and their relationship with their kids is so sweet. They aren’t perfect, but they are at the same time. In that way that you know they are great parents because any mistakes they make are not from lack of care or love.
Drew’s past complicates his parenting decisions. Their fame draws unwanted attention that creates unwanted drama and anxiety. Age and time create other opportunities for change. All of these things make for a story that turned out to be surprisingly hard to put down despite there being no chance in hell that Drew and Trent wouldn’t stay together throughout. This isn’t a story about a couple rediscovering each other. Their love is never in question. This is more about how their love makes them stronger and more confident in handling the things life throws at them. And I couldn’t look away.
Plus it’s fun to see the larger family—Romeo and Rimmel, Ivy and Braeden, Arrow and Hopper, Joey and Lorhaven, and Grampa Gamble. Plus all of the kids. And dogs! Hebert has an amazing ability to create these found families that are just so endearing and delightful to spend time with that you don’t blame them for not wanting to live separate lives. They may be separate family units, but really they are this amazing cohesive whole. It’s beautiful.
I cannot tell you how excited I was when Cambria Hebert announced that my favourite MM couple, Trent and Drew Mask, were getting another book. #MANLOVE, Gearshark #8, brought back everything I have loved about this amazing couple and their family; the love, humour, the pets, and ALL the spice and romance. It's been ten years since first meeting Trent and Drew in #Junkie, and this book picks up twelve years after the events of #Fate, and it was awesome being back amongst all the laughter and love.
Trent and Drew are now in their early forties, dads to two incredible children, Travis 17 and Andi 11. Drew is contemplating retirement from NRR racing, family time has become more important to him, while Trent is still the swoony, hot, and loyal man he's always been. These two definitely know how to set #couplegoals. The romance and intimacy is still there, if anything they are even stronger than ever. When their privacy is breached, they along with the rest of their family band together to keep everyone safe.
I loved that the dynamics of this family haven't changed in the last twelve years. The men are still over-the-top alpha, but now they're dealing with growing daughters ... so you can imagine when boys and dating become the topic of conversation. How does Braeden put it, "Hells No!" The lengths these men go to trying to ensure their daughters remain little girls. I love when Ivy and Rimmel put them in their places. Speaking of Rimmel, she is still the Queen of Klutz. And yes, Pancake Sundays are still a thing.
Thank you Cambria Hebert for bringing back Trent, Drew, and this amazing family. I thoroughly enjoyed all the family shenanigans, sighed at the love everone shared, and swooned at how protective they all were of each other. #MANLOVE was the book I never knew I needed.
This is my first read of 2026 and also my first review of the year, and honestly… what a way to start. Thank you, Cambria, for letting me begin 2026 with Trent and Drew. 💙
Revisiting these two after ten years was such a joy. They’ve always been one of my favorite couples, and seeing them now — happy, settled, still deeply in love, and raising their kids — just made my heart so full. It truly felt like catching up with old friends and seeing how life has treated them.
Travis is now a teenager (how did that happen so fast?), Andi is still the sweetest, and the family they’ve built together is everything. I loved seeing them still living on the compound, still surrounded by family, and still very much them.
The story had just the right amount of drama to keep things interesting, without adding unnecessary angst to Trent and Drew’s relationship. Their bond is solid, and that was something I really appreciated. After everything they’ve been through, it felt right to see them standing strong together. The GearShark interview was one of my favorite parts — funny, nostalgic, and unexpectedly heartwarming. It reminded me why this series has always held such a special place for me.
We do get time with the Hashtag gang, and honestly, it was enough. The rest of the GearShark crew wasn’t around as much, but the little glimpses we did get still made me smile. I won’t lie — I would love more of Lorhaven and the rest of the gang in the future, but even the small moments were enough to make me smile.
This book felt like a celebration — of love, family, and the life Trent and Drew have built together. If you love these two as much as I do, this is an absolute must-read.
Happy reading!
Would I recommend this book: Yes Would I re-read this book: Yes Would I read future books by this author: Yes
This is not the first, or even the tenth book I’ve read by Cambria Hebert, but it’s the first ARC of hers that I’ve received, so I want to thank Cambria and her team for sending me this.
I still remember, 10 years ago, how I waited for #Junkie to be released. I’ve read the entire Hashtag series a few times and was anxiously waiting for Drew and Trent’s story, because even early on, I felt they were endgame. It’s important to say that this was also my first MM book, so I was entering a new world, one I couldn’t and wouldn’t go back from.
This book was a trip down memory lane. Seeing Trent and Drew still so obsessed with each other is just so, so good! Their love story was never simple or easy, it required courage, support, and a ton of love for them to be together.
And here we are, 10 years later, with the whole gang together again. We have drama, we have cars, we have family meetings, and we have Sunday breakfasts, all the classics we know and love.
As usual with Trent and Drew, their path to being together was always filled with stepping stones: discovering their sexuality, telling the people they cared about that they loved each other, dealing with terrible parents, accidents, near death experiences, trauma, and now, the cherry on top: parenting Travis and Andi! What a delight it is to see Trent and Drew as parents, how they were truly meant to be, caring for and loving their kids.
I loved the vibe of this book, the Gearshark interview, the nostalgia of going to Ernie’s, the bromance and sisterhood, and the hundreds of animals in the house!
I will read any book Cambria releases. Whether it’s the Hashtag, Gearshark, Westbrook series, or any universe she creates, I’ll be reading and rooting for the characters. This is a 5 ⭐️ read for me, without a doubt. 🏎️🏈
"There will never be a tomorrow when we aren’t together because that day could never exist."
Trent and Drew from the GearShark series are one of my favorite couples. I've read their books multiple times. I was so happy when I found out that we were getting a new book about them. It was so freaking wonderful to revisit them and see them be so happy together.
"I loved him so intensely some days it felt like my heart beat just for him. It didn’t matter how much love I gave to everyone else. I always had more because the reason my heart knew love at all was him."
I knew this was going to be about Drew's retirement but I didn't expect us to get quite as big a time jump as we did. To see how far they've come since Fate brought tears to my eyes! I loved seeing them as parents and how amazing their kids are. Travis is a mini combination of Trent and Drew and their little peanut, Andi, is so precious. We did get a little bit of danger and some suspense, but for the most part, we just got to see them be domestic and happy with their whole family.
"“Everything in this world seems to have a limit,” I whispered. “Except my love for you.”"
It's so well deserved. I was happy with the way we left this crew in Fate but this book was so needed. It's just joyous and so full of love and laughter, and of course, tons of spicy moments. I enjoyed every second of it and I would gladly come back to this world if Cambria decides to write more (maybe a legacy series with the kids?) But for now, this book left me so satisfied. If you're a fan of the Hashtag series or the GearShark series, you need to read this book. It's the perfect ending!
"Drew was a wildfire that burned fast and bright through my veins, consuming time and reason, with every brush of our lips feeding the flames."
It's been 10 years since we first read Drew and Trent's story, and it gives me joy and satisfaction to go back into their lives and see what has changed.
They are older now, more experienced, and have children, but they are still madly in love, each other's greatest strength and support, and obsessed with French fries (Drew 👀) .
And we don't need to waste words on the whole family. Romea, Rimmel, Ivy, Braidena and their children. Drew, Trent, and their children; and you have a beautiful chaos. 💞
I hope we get children's books one day. Maybe placed in the GearShark world?
I really do love a GearShark interviews.
Cambria, I'm looking at you. 👀👀
It would be so much fun, watching four grown up men act shamelessly protective while having to watch their girls and sons grow up and fall in love.
All in all, thanks for this book. It was a blast.
If you love Trent, Drew and the whole family, you don't want to skip this book. ✨
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and it was great that we got to revisit Drew & Trent ten years after their love story began during #Junkie. I just love them, and much to Drew’s dismay that their ship name is here to stay. #Trew love Forever. I loved getting to catch up with the rest of the family that we’ve gotten to know and fall in love with during this amazing universe that Cambria has created. I think Drew & Trent are amazing Dad’s to Travis and Andi but that’s not really a surprise though.
I’d recommend not only just this book but the whole #GearShark Series, as well as where it started during the #Hashtag series and Cambria Hebert to anyone looking for something new to read, even if they’ve never read an M/M book before. Just like I hadn’t before reading #Junkie and I now predominantly read LGBT romance books, so I’m definitely hooked. There’s no doubt that I’ll be re-reading both series again at some stage for like the 8th time lol. I’m really looking forward to reading more books from Cambria in the future. I’d definitely recommend this book, series, universe and author to others.
Did Receive an ARC, but have reread the GearShark series several times
“Our Family is the moon and stars to me, T.”
This quote alone explains every reason that the #Gearshark series is my favorite from Cambria Hebert.
In #Manlove, we revisit Trey and Drew (my favorite couple) 10 years from when their story came out in #Junkie. In that time, their love and family have withstood everything from near death, children, and just growing up and supporting their found family.
Trey and Drew have learned to love one another and now they’re facing the next step in life: maturing in love and possible career changes. Their foundation of unconditional love is their biggest strength. That strength carries them in their son getting a year old, in making decisions on when to let go of something important, and in making sure there is not a single fry left uneaten. (Fries before guys still strong sometimes).
This story was beautiful conclusion of hope, love, and a bit of drama (of course). I’m glad I got to revisit Trey and Drew. They are truly a special couple and worth reading the entire GearShark series to get this moment.
Sometimes it’s hard to put into words exactly how a book made me feel. It’s been ten years since we first got Trent and Drew’s love story, so getting #Manlove was such a treat. There’s just something about going back to one of your favorite families that settles the soul. Trent and Drew are more in love than ever, parents to a sixteen, almost seventeen year old and an eleven year old. Still living on the compound with the rest of the Hashtag crew, this current look into the lives of the Mask family was just what I needed. Travis is proving to be more like Drew every day, loving cars and learning how to drive fast. Andi is more Trent, quiet and thoughtful. They’re living the family life, until someone claiming to be Travis and Andi’s real mom tries to take them away. Now they’re scrambling to figure out who she is, all while living their lives and planning Travis’ birthday. I’ll never get enough of these characters, this found family bunch. This series in its entirety, Hashtag included, is a yearly reread for me, and Manlove is the perfect addition that gives us the most up to date look into their lives. I already can’t wait to read it again.
There’s something truly special about this series and more so, Trent and Drew’s love story. It’s one that I’m always willing to dive into with no hesitation, abandoning whatever my current read is, because I’m desperate for an update on these characters’ lives. This book stays true to the heart of the original series, continuing to draw on its well grounded elements of found family, love that knows no bounds and the courage of forging your own path even if the world is against you. It’s been a decade since readers were introduced to Trent and Drew and this book feels like catching up with old friends. I loved seeing their new dynamic with the kids as they’re older now, and it’s always a joy seeing the other original characters pop up. This was honestly the best book to start of my 2026 reads because I knew it would instantly be a five star one. Highly recommended for fans of the hashtag series.
Look, Drew and Trent are one of my all-time favorite couples so unless Cambria decided she was going to "off" someone in this book, it was pretty much guaranteed that #Manlove would be a 5* read for me. And, I'm happy to report it was! It was so, so great being back with my #TrewLove after so long! I loved seeing them happily married and being dads, they're so wonderful! And it was fun seeing the #Hashtag gang too, and all their kids.
There's a little bit of drama, but from outside forces- no need to worry that there's trouble in paradise. This just helped solidify what wonderful parents Trent and Drew are, and how much love they have for each other and their little family.
It was fun getting to "see" Emily and the crew from #Gearshark- the articles are always entertaining!
I'll never get enough of Drew and Trent, thank you Cambria for creating and sharing these characters with us!
I would first like to say thank you for my ARC of this book received via BookFunnel. I gave this book 5 stars. I really love M/M books and totally adored Drew and Trent. At first, not having read past books, the family confused me. I couldn't tell who was an adult, who was a child, who was a pet and who was with who with the exception of Drew and Trent. However, as I got into the book it all made sense and I really loved the story. I enjoyed it so much that I breezed through it in one sitting. The chemistry between the 2 main characters is off the charts and oh to find a love like that with a same sex or opposite sex partner. Those kind of loves are rare and should be treasured. I really enjoyed the author's writing, particularly the conversations and there were actually for me, a few witty moments. I definitely need to go back and read more books in this series and I also will anxiously await the next one and any others by this author.
Hooked from the very first page , devouring every single word to the point yes I actually did lose track of time , going through all the emotions, smiling and laughing out loud one second to then bam crying and actually yelling outta pure frustration (all while cheering so freaking hard and falling completely and utterly in love with Drew and Trent . These two are one of my absolute favorite couples and having the chance to revisit them after 10 years was so so awesome. Seeing how happy and in love they still are , raising their kids together , the perfect reminder of just why I fell in love with them from the beginning. Add into that the angst , the humor , the witty banter , the love , the passion , the drama and all the little moments that will pull on all your heartstrings. Another phenomenal installment to one of my absolute favorite series.
This book was everything and more when it comes to Trent and Drew. Getting to seem them now in their relationship and how much they have grown together but also as parents was perfection. I loved seeing how much they have grown but also see them as the two guys we meet back in #Junkie is heartwarming. They are just so free and able to be themselves now. Them showing not only their kids but the while racing world that being true to yourself and loving out loud isn't always easy but is worth fighting for every time. I absolutely adored getting to see all the kids and the whole #Hashtag crew.
I love this book so much thank you Cambria for giving us a look at the characters and a chance to fall in love with them all over again.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
If you somehow haven’t read the #Gearshark series yet… start now.
Drew Mask was already a legend when we first met him, but stepping back into his story more than a decade later felt like coming home. Now in his early forties, juggling fatherhood, fame, and the pull of retirement, Drew shows a new vulnerability that made me love him even more. Trent is still the sexy, soft-at-heart man who would move heaven and earth for his family, and together they remain the ultimate definition of #couplegoals.
I loved the cameos! Seeing Braeden & Ivy, Rome & Rimmel, and flashes of the original Gearshark crew was like spotting beloved family across a crowded room. I laughed (dads vs. teen dating 😂), swooned, and soaked up every page! Cambria Hebert is my auto-buy author for a reason; she keeps this world alive in the best way.

Listening/ reading about how Cambria was told about not writing this series the pressure how she felt i'm so glad she didnt listen to them people and followed her creative flow.
I absolutely loved this, seeing Drew and Trent and how their family has grown with the found family of Rimmel, Romeo, Ivy and Braeden and their kids too. Absolutely loved we found out what happened with everyone. It shows how there life has gone from we last left them, Still the protective alphas but still vulnerable a lot less private hehe. The sweet movements and the hot tension. The scene of how we get that pretty cover is so funny and definitely memorable. i had to go back and relook at with that scene in mind and i could just see it so clearly.
I love this group and i really hope she does a next generation with the kids because i would absolutely love this.
This was such a fantastic return to the #Gearshark world and this amazing found family, and as such, it can't be read as a standalone, so keep that in mind.
Drew and Trent are as in love and obsessed with each other as ever. Their chemistry was off the charts, and I adored them together.
We get to catch up with the Hashtag gang and with Drew and Trent's kids, and I loved every second of it.
The story was fun, with enough drama to keep my interest without going overboard, and I will definitely read it again in the future. If you're a fan of Cambria Hebert and the Gearshark series, you can't miss out on this fabulous book.
*** Copy provided for my reading pleasure; a review wasn't a requirement. ***
Excellent story! This story really highlighted the #trewlove while also highlighting the entire family. I LOVE that they all live on the compound, the way they're all essentially raising the kids together & ... it just is such a neat group. We get Drew & Trent & their love, of course, and ALSO lots of the group. Lots of banter & family & awesomeness.
There's a scene where David is giving his vision of the cover, and it matches the actual cover, and it's amazing. Nailed it!! 🍟🏆❤️
And then, there's this interview! I haven't read the Gearshark books, so idk if that's something that's in all of them & will be a nod to fans of the series, but I absolutely adored it!
I just love Trent and Drew sooo much 😭 and I am soo happy we finally got to revisit these characters after 10 years! Trent and Drew were my first ever MM book and they made into the MM book lover I am today!!
In this book we revisit the happy couple, and we get an update on how things are going after 10 years. Travis is now a teenager, and Andi is a sweet 11-year-old girl. Even though they are a happy family – there will always be someone out there who will try to destroy the family they have.
This book has a bit of drama, full celebrations and breaking news!
So these two are actually not my favourite couple of cambrias (shim & red are and no one comes close maybe another book of theres one day 🧐😝😂) but i can honestly say every book with these 2 gets better and better though their last one just made me cry the whole book 🤣 the comfortableness the settledness just makes them even hotter i love how drew is still super possessive and trent is the sensitive dominant alpha male. Deff will be a reread for me really enjoyed it was great to see all the characters- i only read MM but I dont think it takes away from the story I still enioy the other characters even though I haven't read their particular books.
