She has always polished the Christmas lanterns for others. She never expected one to reveal the truth about her own heart.
Plain, gentle Malinda Weaver has spent her life serving quietly in Faith’s Creek, never believing a man like Aaron Byler could truly see her. But when an old lantern shows her name carved by his hand long ago, a spark of hope begins to flicker. Then the beautiful Lydia Stoltzfus arrives, and Malinda is forced to face what everyone says about plain, ordinary, forgettable.
Aaron must choose between the future his parents want and the woman his heart has never forgotten. Snow is falling, secrets are rising, and Christmas is coming fast. In the glow of the lantern light, love will either find its way or fade forever.
Will this Christmas be the moment Malinda learns she was never ordinary in the eyes of the man who loves her?
What a wonderful story. It will bring satisfaction, comfort and joy to all who read it. The heartwarming story shows us that lives are lived according to Gods plan for all of us, not according to our personal wishes and dreams. Merry Christmas everyone! And a Happy New Year!
What a sweet story. I so enjoyed this story more than Hallnark Christmas movies. A kinner boy and girl. Love for all the days. A match made long ago intrudes. But all is not lost.
How about puppy love at age 8 that doesn’t seem to develop right when parents have another perfect mate in mind. Funny, I always thought of Lydia as being very plastic. Anyway read it for yourself but all is well
