A taxi driver’s notes, the life of an immigrant and…a man’s thoughts
How does an immigrant see England?
What does a luxury chauffeur hear in his car?
What does a father in his 40s want his children to understand about life?
I have lived in England for sixteen years and have been driving a minicab on the streets of London for over ten of those years. Every day is unique and unrepeatable, because I never know who I will meet or where I will go. Inspired by my work, I have created a kaleidoscope of life stories, my subjective thoughts and feelings.
I created this book as a letter to my children in the future. It tells not only about my work, but also about me, about how I see the world today, now that I am in my early 40s.
This book is a mosaic of real encounters, fleeting thoughts, and quiet revelations.
