Infinite Mana. A Body of Glass. To save his world, he must become the very thing that destroys him.
Ren is the "failure" of Veridia Imperial Magic Academy. They call him "Ren-Zero" because he can’t cast a single spell without collapsing. But Ren isn't weak. He is overcharged.
Born with a mana core of infinite capacity trapped inside a fragile human vessel, Ren is a living bomb waiting to detonate. A single spark could vaporize his enemies—but the recoil would shatter his own bones like cheap glass.
When the sky above Veridia cracks open and the Shadow Army descends, the age of peace ends in blood and fire. The Academy falls. The heroes die. In the face of total annihilation, Ren is forced to make an impossible flee into the darkness or unleash the catastrophe living inside his veins.
Rescued by a rogue assassin and thrown into a hellish dimensional fracture where time bends and monsters rule, Ren has only one Evolution.
He must unlearn the ways of the mages. He must stop casting spells and start becoming the weapon. But even if he survives the hell of the fracture and returns to save his city, Ren will discover that the true enemy isn't the monster sitting on the throne of bones...
It is the god watching from the golden sky.
The Glass Sorcerer is dead. The Hero is born.
"They told him he would break if he fought. They didn't realize he would break them."
A novel that kept me hooked throughout. It's a combination of magic and mystery, a coming-of-age novel, a piece of mana. I'm glad I got to know Ren, a relatable teenager with a partner and a professor who will help him on his journey. I can't wait for what's next. <3
