A Song of Desperation: War is coming
Greed. Betrayal. Revenge.
Two kingdoms are on the brink of war yet again. Decades prior, the northern kingdom of Herriton and the southern kingdom of Provorem were engaged in a fight for control over their own territory in the world of Utaan. Both yearned to claim additional power for themselves and to establish order among land and seas. Now, after what is revealed to be a standstill, and the feuding bloodbath has halted, several coalitions involving the shamanistic lizardmen and ruthless beastmen desire to see history repeated by falling into a lust for domination. The origins of this reason rely on a craving for reprisal and control, and the slightest vapor of hope that lingers amidst the smoke will be the only source of liberation.
Deyvid – a retired naval captain, is plagued by an unforeseen incident.
Dohnrik – prince and heir to the throne of the kingdom of Provorem, yearns for a different path in life against his father’s demands.
Veara – princess of the northern kingdom of Herriton, disapproves of her father’s choices as king and seeks out other methods of finding her true love who has gone missing.
Cordrey – brother to Veara, and next reigning heir to the throne of Herriton, has unique interests of what inhabits the wastelands of Utaan that even the most wicked of men dare not attain.

“But where there was darkness and endless multitudes of evil, there still remained the light which would shine in the endless chasm of shadow and death.”
Alright bookish guys and gals, this one is a MUST read. I literally could not read this one fast enough, but also didn’t want to read too much because I wanted to savor this story. When I think of Christian fantasy, this will be the one that immediately comes to mind. This has warring kingdoms, deadly prophecies, light vs. dark, the power of true love, and so much more. I would literally give my husband a run down of everything that happened in my book at the end of each day because I HAD to talk about this one!👏🏻 I loved reading from each characters POV and found myself glued to each of their stories. Like I genuinely did not get tired of reading this and had to make myself put this one down for basic human needs like sleeping and eating.😂 This one does not shy away from spiritual warfare so I will say that this one definitely gets dark, so be sure to check the content warnings below. And lastly, PLEASE tell me book 2 is coming soon because I literally don’t know what to do in the mean time.🥲
Content/Trigger Warnings: Death, Descriptive Violence, Dark Magic/Rituals
✝️Christian Fantasy
⚔️Political Intrigue
🫣Deadly Prophecy
🛡️Knight x Princess
👥Multi POV’s
✨Light vs. Dark
(I was gifted a copy of this book, all thoughts and opinions are my own.)
