2.5 listened to this with my kiddos and the music was pretty and the reading voice was good but unfortunately the story was not lined up to scripture in some important ways. Mary is spoken of as a young woman instead of a VIRGIN and her response to Gabriel is also incorrect. In this she says she’s just a girl from Nazareth not how can this being seeing she knows not a man. They miss some important theological truths by changing things up here. Wouldn’t recommend this one unfortunately. Liked the background music though.

This is one of my favorite audiobook versions of the Christmas story. It's lightly dramatized, includes music, and is narrated by Morgan Freeman.

The girls, however, were less-than-impressed with Mr. Freeman's narration, and insisted multiple times that a different narrator would have been better. Clearly, I have gone wrong somewhere as a parent.

This book comes with a CD 💿 and is narrated by Morgan Freeman!!!!!! Yes, you read that correctly Morgan Freeman. Nothing more needs to be said!!!!! Morgan Freeman reads The Savior Is Born which is just a classic retelling of the Biblical story. It is beautiful!!!! You can listen to it on Epic.

Excellent book on the birth of Jesus. My seven year old followed the story. The beautiful pictures was an added bonus.
