Distracting details

Not the most intricate or well written story but still would have been enjoyable had the author paid attention to detail eg. the MFC had rich chestnut curls which later became gorgeous blonde then back to her beautiful chestnut hair. No dye involved just a few pages. The hero had silver eyes but at one stage they became green then back to silver. When you read you form a mind picture of the characters and it is extremely distracting having that picture played with. As an author you owe it to your readers to at least get the basics right.

Great Book

I hate how the females think keeping the baby a secret is for the childs benefit and then ever decision they makes makes the situation worst off. How they are the ones making bad choices but make the man suffer for it. Blah. But it was hot and spicy can always go for that. Plot line great. I loved who the villians turned out to be. I loved how family came together in the end. Ended on a great note. I just wished that all these books ended in multiple pregnancies. Why wait til the end to have more kids. Let it happen throughtout the book lol

This was a great read!

She never stood a chance! Honestly the way this MMC loves his woman … their chemistry is spot on and the author gets their relationship just right. They are the perfect match!
The elements of humor - great camaraderie between the MMC and his best friends, as well as between Lila and her best Maya - will make you giggle, and the storyline didn’t drag, making it an easy, enjoyable read. I hope the author gives Antonio and Raphael their own book too!

Ouch

First story from this author for me. I really liked the story, I promise, but the editing made it difficult to read. Not just typos, but tenses, mid-sentence changes in POV and general continuity, especially in the first half, made it feel like an assignment. I don't recall seeing it so much in the second half. Satisfying premise and ending, I was just expecting more bratva and less Italian mafia.

Lila and Dante's story reads a bit like a romcom in a way, rather than a dark serious type of mafia boss story. There is some drama, but there is also plenty of sizzle in this great steamy forbidden romance with a second chance and secret baby.

One thing that bothered me was drawing out him finding out he was the father of Luna, way to long it got boring. Very little action not your typical Mafia story, when there was action it was good. Loved Rafial and the other one can't remember his name and spelled the one wrong. I would like to read about those two jokers.

Starting with the cover then reading all about Dante and Lila this mafia romance book is a perfect 5 star read. Alexis has done a wonderful job not only writing an engaging book to read, but the characters really reel you in right away. It's a hard to put down romance book that I felt like was very entertaining and a real page turner.
