Rate this book
Enemies. Rivals. Mates.

Damien Marchetti is The Machine—cold, calculating, and heir to a powerful mafia family. He's spent fifteen years perfecting his control, never making decisions based on emotion. Until Stephen Vitale.

Stephen Vitale is the strategic mastermind of his family's empire, respected and feared in equal measure. He's also hiding a secret that could destroy everything he's built—a secret that only comes to light when an ambush forces him and Damien to fight their way to safety together.

Trapped in a safe house, injured and desperate, Stephen's suppressants fail. And Damien discovers the the heir to their greatest rival family is omega. The designation Stephen has hidden for fifteen years. The vulnerability he can never afford to show.

One heat. One bond. One bite that changes everything.

Now permanently mated to the enemy, they return to families that see their bond as the ultimate betrayal. But a new threat is rising—one that's been playing both families against each other, pushing them toward mutual destruction. To survive, Damien and Stephen must convince their families that the bond isn't a weakness.

It's their greatest weapon.

A scorching hot omegaverse mafia romance featuring enemies to lovers, forced proximity, mating bonds, knotting, hurt/comfort, and two dangerous men who discover that the only thing more powerful than their rivalry is their love.

Sounded good when I read the description but let’s be for real, some of these things are a little far-fetched like, how the heck is the TV gonna be on just after you guys woke up so you’ll had the TV on all night and how convenient that you gonna get to see the guy you just did the naughty with on the news talking about his illegal business dealings. Why would he go on national TV where everybody to see him and talk about illegal things personally that was very unrealistic and then how the hell is this guy gonna disappear so fast and supposedly this mafia man that has top-notch resources that can find anybody and is in the mafia but couldn’t find some random ass dude how the hell did you lose somebody so fast. And to top it all off the enemy found him before you did how is that possible the guy didn’t even change his name so how the hell is that you couldn’t find him I was like come on. Let’s be for real here. And then all of his reasons why he decided not to let him know he was having his baby are actually kind of dumb like this man for one has money so he can help you with the baby two he can keep you and the baby safe because keeping your baby safe all by yourself, knowing he does illegal stuff means he will have people who want to hurt him and they will hurt him through you just saying think about it so yeah that’s one of the many things I was thinking about while reading this. Also, his reasons for now wanting to get involved with this mafia guy were valid. I’m not gonna say they’re not but at some point through the story, it just got repetitive.

This was a really good read that I liked. Nico Ferrara knows better than to get involved with a man like Lorenzo Russo. The powerful mafia heir is dangerous, commanding, and completely out of Nico's league. But one passionate night at a charity gala. The next mourning Nico leaves but he is not alone. Lorenzo spends the next 8 months looking for him. Nico disappeared because of Lorenzo us mafia life. This was a pretty good read when his enemies kidnap Nico Lorenzo with do anything to get him and the baby he didn't know existed back. Nico is having a high risk pregnancy and goes into labor while being tied to a chair. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading more from this author.

A Story of Choice

In reading this book I come to realize the Title is exactly what the book is. But to me it leans more towards Choice than anything. A choice of a one night stand, a choice of carrying a child without telling the father, a choice to eventually allow said father to help, and a choice of family. We all make choices in life whether they are good or bad. And that is exactly what both Main Characters do, make choices that are good and bad.
This book is a great read. I gave it 5 stars ⭐️.
This are some repetitive sentences but it was still a great read. 💜❤️

Repetitive. Not sure why I keep doing this to myself. If I had to read “the night we spent together EIGHT MONTHS AGO” or “we do this together” one more time I was going to gouge my eyes out. Really. Put some variety in there. Like we get it, we know the timeline. And plot hole??? Didn’t they say the man who kidnapped him actually survived ?? Where did he go? He didn’t comeback? What was the point? And also they mentioned at the end that they’d want another kid eventually like they didn’t just have a whole ass heat without protection?? I guess I’m expecting too much.

Just okay

It started off really well but I ended up getting so annoyed with the repeating lines. The MC would give the same reason and the ML would repeat his reassurance almost copy and paste. This went on in almost every chapter, I finally just skimmed the rest just to get to the okay parts. Great premise and would've been better if there was more meat on the bones so to speak.

THIS IS AN AI BOOK

This book is AI, and I think all by this "author"

And its not something they can claim as false, because the level of repetitiveness in the book, line by line exactly. There will be very unique words used 3 to 4 times in consecutive paragraphs

Ok read, but some things in the plot didn't add up and Nico's motives to stay away were quite silly.
Also, it seems this author is actually AI?

A brutal war between two Mafia families runs rampant, and in the middle of all this is one shy, nervous, pregnant Omega. A good story, not too complex but giving us a tale of love, power and desire.
