Honestly, there is no way to say much without spoiling the entire series so far 😂

If you’re into lots of action with twists and betrayals with a side of spice - you really need to pick this one up

Book 3 showed us just how down bad Ronan is for his girl and how far he would go to protect her and others he cares about.

Just like I thought. The ending hurt my heart 😩 can these two catch a break??? I really thought this book was gonna be the end and Akita said SIKE.

Would I Recommend? Absolutely

Oh my days. This book had me on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t wait to finish this.
I was so angry for half of this book and I’m not sorry for the unhinged voice notes I sent Akita. My fury carried me in wanting to know what in the heck I was reading and why in the heck I was enjoying it so much.
Venom and Poison are tested to their extremes in the book and my gosh did I feel every single emotion these characters felt.
Akita has a way of writing that makes us feel empathetic to both sides, despite decisions that are made.
The ending however, unacceptable. Becsuse YET AGAIN AKITA I have to wait for the next installment. I need it now. And I neeeeeeed to know that everything will be ok 😭

Huge thank you to the author for allowing me to ARC read this PHENOMENAL book. Started as an arc and finished on KU (because page reads baby!!)

I’ve said this before and I will say it again—WOW. This series is incredible and the level of emotional turmoil that Akita puts us through is…it’s so evil but so freaking worth it!

If this series does not get picked up and made into a series or movie, I may actually scream. But you know what? Reading it is freaking magical because the way Akita writes action is chef’s kiss. I cannot wait for more 😭😭😭😭

A Piece of Poison is for the humans who love love turned lethal. One betrayal and suddenly everything soft between them becomes a weapon. The tension is brutal, the action is nonstop, and the emotional damage is premium grade. I inhaled this book and then stared at the wall like it personally attacked me.

We’re back at it with book 3 of the Lethal Love series with Anita and Ronan aka Venom and Poison and what a ride it was! As with the other books in this series, I was immediately pulled into the story with action right off the bat, but not before we got an emotional flashback, making my heart break even more for Ronan and his past.

Akita just might be the queen of cliffhangers, because we were thrown right back into action with Venom and Poison fighting for their lives and then having the rug pulled out from under us yet again! The revenge, the betrayal, the heartbreak, this was such a roller coaster of emotions that had me on the edge of my seat! It really broke my heart to see the pain both Anita and Ronan had to go through. You can’t help but root for their love, but it seems that the odds are always against them. And yet again, I am left wanting and needing more of them! 😩

If dark assassin, enemies to lovers, turned enemies again, with an action packed plot and some spice sounds up your alley, do yourself a favor and read this series!

If you want to read a series that’s going to rip your heart of your chest several times. Have plot twists for the large fucking plot twists, question your sanity, want to find the author and tell her to give those babies a BREAK…..then I recommend reading this.

Cause baby, I was SCREAMING, CRYING, ANNOYED, and ready to leap into the book just so they could catch a BREATHER 😩😩

Akita, mark my words, I’m billing you for my therapy sessions because I could NOT put this book down and I questioned myself about 20x a chapter why I kept reading know you were going to have my babies going THRU it…anyways, Piece of Poison was amazing, I loved it, I devoured it, and I’d gladly take a knife to the stomach for it and to read the series all over again for the first time.

I was beyond excited to dive into A Piece of Poison, and it absolutely did not disappoint.

The tension, the angst, the emotions, everything was top tier. This book put me through the emotional wringer with its nonstop action, betrayal, heartbreak, and shocking twists. The first part had me biting my nails, and when one of the crazy twist happened... I was completely shellshocked. I had a feeling something was going on, but I never expected that. It hit me hard, not gonna lie.

Poison, my man, has already been through so much, yet the punches just keep coming. And Venom... my heart broke for her too. All I wanted was to take the two of them somewhere they could finally find peace and happiness after everything they've endured.

Without spoiling anything, I'll just say that the revelations and plot twists had my head spinning in the best way. Every new discovery raised the stakes even higher, and I couldn't put the book down.

The writing was fantastic, and I think this might be my favourite book in the series so far. The pacing was excellent it never slowed down, constantly keeping me on the edge of my seat.

I absolutely loved every second of it... but now I desperately need the next book! Please and thank you! This series is incredible, filled with tension, character growth, emotional depth, and action.

Akita Sparks girlll you did your big one with the third book in the series like I appreciate you giving me the opportunity to part of your team and read this masterpiece I need book 4 in a couple months after recovering from this one.
Let’s talk about Venom the way she was written from book one all the way to the third one was chefs kiss. She literally a bad ass like she don’t play you say something outrageous pocket she gonna get you. I love that about her the way my theories kept on connecting through the whole book the way it played together had me smiling over here like all the tropes came in had me almost breaking my new iPad. I might have been dancing in my living room when Ronan unhinged self pop up in his chapters was next giggling off the couch we needed that so bad she don’t play about her man and he don’t play about her.
Ronan the man you are I’ve been inlove with him since book one like I was ready to catch hands behind him. The chemistry the tension between had me screaming into my pillow then had to go tell my sisters about it. The whole story was worth it.

This book had absolutely everything! Action betrayal, secrets, angst, tension and lots of heartbreak with a splash of spice and lots of blue balls for poor Ronan 😂

The way I yelled and screamed at these people to get it together!! I loved all the twists and turns and the action!! It was like everyone was on the edge and the drama made it so freaking good!!

I cannot wait for the next book, my boy needs his hard earned HEA, and I need his father to be put in the ground already I hate that man so much!!

I enjoyed the hell out of this book, the screaming, crying and wtf moments were all SO WORTH IT!! 😍

This one took me a while to settle into at first because everything felt chaotic and disconnected, and I didn’t realize going in that there were books before this one, which probably explains why I felt a little lost. But somewhere around the halfway mark, everything shifted. The scattered pieces started locking together, revelations hit one after another, and suddenly I was completely hooked. I was on the edge of my seat, desperate to yell at the characters as everything unfolded. By the end, it pulled every emotion out of me and left me feeling all of it. Overall, such a rewarding read once it all came together.

Gosh darn it Akita 👏 you’ve done it again!!!

I can’t even with ALL the drama, that took place in this book. Like how can you continue to keep up on the edge of our seats wanting and needing more.

Poison and Venom are driving me crazy in the best possible way! The action, betrayal, tension and WHATTTTT with the secrets.

You continue to keep me intrigued and always leave us at the perfect point wanting more! Because NOOOOOO not my Poison.

To anyone questioning if they should read this series 100/100 recommend hands down.

Book 3 in the Lethal Love series and man this book had me on the edge of my seat from beginning to end. From the start, this book had me in shock and I just could not put it down because I had to know what was going on. The feels were so real and so raw. About halfway through the book when things started becoming enlightened and you're figuring out and the truth, you just WANNA SCREAM at the characters. The end had me wanting to cry.

Honestly, everybody need to unlive. Now usually I root for the MMC, but he was getting on my nerves like a FMC because sir are we not okay??? Unfortunately, I was hoping venom died. And Ik that's impossible with her being the FMC, but I couldn't catch a break. I think it was because this was technically Poison's story and hers is the next one, (side peek at Akita), and maybe she can redeem herself. But I'm Mal, beefing with Anita.

I would've given 5 stars but she used BOTH C words. EYUCK

I received this book as an arc copy, i liked it. It was hard for me to get into at first because everything was all over the place, I wasn’t aware there was books before this one so that may be why. About half way through the book everything start to become enlightened and it had me on the edge of my seat once pieces started to click together, I wanted to scream at the characters so bad. The ending made me feel all the feelings, it was overall a good book.

When I first started to read this book I should have know, I should of known that Akita Sparks was going to make me work me over with every emotion. The twist in this book had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. And yes it ends on a cliffhanger but every book in this series is worth the pain because they are so good.. If you are look for a nice action dark romance I highly recommend this series.

I really really liked this one. A Piece of Poison is the most interesting book in the Lethal Love Series so far. It never got boring, there was always another twist.
If you haven't already read the first two books in this series, I highly recommend to do it!

I was so invested in the characters but they way the plot was written was so poor and it honestly just took too long. At times the pace would build up for it to end up being flat again for what felt like 100 pages. I won’t be continuing the series and I am sad about that

It was good, I was starting to get a little skimmy throughout the story thought because I was getting bored, until she returned with him and all hell broke loose.

The ending is a cliffhanger and it just seemed painfully obvious this is how that was going to go...
Anita better go full Letti/Mia Torreto on their asses because wth was even that.
