Freshly in charge, Major Frey finds himself beset by a tumultuous situation in Zambia. He must guide and protect the servicemen and women of the United States Embassy. When the lights go out on Christmas Day, a gutsy decision must be made. With the help of some unlikely and untested soldiers, they must convoy through the perilous wilds of Africa as they escape to Rwanda by any means possible.
Unbeknownst to Major Frey, memories he has paid for in blood will haunt and hound him, leading to ambushes and showdowns with deadly enemies and environments. If the Major can overcome treacherous obstacles and come to terms with his past, he might just survive the 1400-mile journey.

Blood Memory by Philip Voodoo is a military thriller set in the "Mongol Moon" universe that is an emotionally raw, intense, full throttle thriller that fully immerses you in the story! Blood Memory is an outstanding addition to the Mongol Moon storyline and Philip Voodoo has a way of writing that makes you want more.

Excellent read
I’ve been reading what I’ll call “Tom Clancy” style books for approaching 40 years. I’ve honestly been tiring of the genre because everything feels recycled. This was a refreshing change. Great story, engaging characters, no “and then a miracle happened”. Probably the best Mongol Moon universe book. Hopefully the author continues to write.

outstanding novel
This is one of the best books I’ve read in my lifetime and I don’t feel anything I could say next would be more meaningful. Well done amigo. Wargate and a certain corner of X has some world class authors.

Excellent addition to the Mongol Moon Universe
Following the Frey family through this saga was a deep dive through intrigue and warfare on the African continent. Don't think this is just a veteran's or a bro book. I liked it just as much as my husband did! Excellent work, Voodoo!
