Dead Innocent

Rate this book
An employee of your firm is dead, killed in a motoring accident. It was sudden, of course, and it came as a shock to you. You don’t know how to deal with it at first - he was also a friend - and then you learn that two children were in the rear of the van, both of which have been recently abducted. However bad it looks, you know that he’s innocent.
He isn’t that type of man.
You knew him.
He wasn’t like that.

Business owner, Seth Allen, sets out to prove the innocence of the recently deceased by uncovering the truth behind the child abductions, but the people involved in an incident that happened nearly two decades come back on the scene, some of which are there to help, some of which are looking for revenge . . .
How far would you go to save a life?

Good plot and some interesting characters with complex back stories. However, the poor grammar and repetitive writing style were a big put off.

This is the first book by T J Bleakly that I have read, and a good read it was too.
Some nice twists in the tale of a story that moves along at a good pace.
Also, nice to read a book set in and around Derry. I have only been to Derry once a number of years ago, a lovely city with a chequered and interesting past. This book is set in the present so there is not even a mention of troubles, thankfully.

I just could not get into this book. the first couple of chapters seemed very scattered and not very cohisive, and it made it difficult for me to follow the action. I tried more than once to get interested, but just could not get into it.

Based in Ireland a gripping story but full of typos and bad (or maybe Irish) English
Worth reading but do not expect a spoiler from me
