This is been the single most helpful sales book I’ve ever read. The difference with this book compared to others is that he spends time talking about the psychology of the people you are placing that cold call to; what the interpersonal relationships at the company may be; how you are going to navigate those waters in order to be more successful and generate quality relationships with people. Certain very small changes to what you’re doing now will make the difference between hitting your quota and smashing your quota and then bringing home a huge paycheck.
The point he makes is that sales people tend to have habits that they fall into and never want to actually put in the time and make the jump out of the comfort zone to get better.
I also think his email prospecting templates and techniques are one thing that you can easily change tomorrow to get quality responses for prospects.
