Konstantin

Rate this book
I'm a ghost. A shadow doctor hiding in a Brighton Beach basement.

Then a bleeding monster crashes through my door—and refuses to die.

Konstantin Besharov is everything I should fear. Six-five, covered in scars and bratva tattoos, with eyes like winter and hands that have clearly ended lives.

But those same hands go gentle after I stitch him back together. And the way he looks at me—like I'm something worth healing—makes my damaged heart do dangerous things.

I've been running for six months. Hiding from the man who destroyed my life. I don't do trust. I don't do feelings.

But when assassins come for me, Konstantin becomes my monster.

He kills for me. Bleeds for me. Pulls me into his world of danger and protection and whispered Russian promises.

And when I finally let myself be soft? When I show him the little girl I hide inside?

He doesn't run. He calls himself Daddy.

And suddenly I'm not just safe—I'm his.

Konstantin is a steamy medical bratva romance, starring a broken shadow doctor and the brutal enforcer who'll burn the world before he lets anyone hurt his little one.

it was ok, good story, but no conclusions for the big event in the end, just a jump for 3 months, which was annoying and disappointing.

New author for me I loved this fantastically written story. I never laughed so hard esp at a bratva book as I did during the nursery scene. The author was brilliant in her writing. Plus her writing if the daddy little dynamic was excellent. Explained in a way that makes sense, is easy to understand hiw and why it’s needed and under what circumstances.
The characters were very real and believable, richly described with in-depth personalities, real traumas, struggles, fears, insecurities, needs, etc. the world building around the bratva life was consistent, believable but it didn’t over power the story line rather enhancing it. The plot entered around maya a 26 yo surgeon who discovers something horrible and gets destroyed for trying to do the right thing and Konstantinos a 30 yobratva enforcer who’s known nothing but violence, death and blood and who’s heart has always been empty going thru the motions of living but never really feeling or engaging until maya saves his life. In return he saves hers and together they try to right the wrongs done to her and bring down those responsible.
My only complaint would be that the author doesn’t conclude one important section of the plot at all leaving the reader with no idea what happened after a major event. Instead there’s a 3 month time jump which focuses back on maya and kostya his nickname and their relationship but never gives u a satisfactory conclusion. That’s a major disappointment and I think a real problem for the book. Normally that would drop my rating but the rest of the book was so good i felt compelled to keep the 5 stars.

A mafia romance with a twist! I seriously love Lucky Moons Underground Daddies series. Each MC is unique, their story engaging and the romance is swoony.

Kostya and Maya’s story kept me on the edge of my seat! Their first meeting was unconventional but it left an impression on them both. And when danger stalks Maya, Kostya becomes her shield.

This broken, brilliant, fierce little creature had just become the most important thing in my world.

Their story definitely has a little Beauty in the Beast vibe to it which I also loved! There is nothing like a feral alpha who is soft only for his woman & Kostya finally gets to show his protector side with Maya.

"I want to be everything you need," he said simply, like it wasn't a declaration that rewrote the laws of physics. Like it wasn't the most dangerous promise anyone had ever made to me.

Needless to say, I definitely recommend! Can’t wait for Mak’s story next!!

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Maya was one of the best surgeon until she was falsely accused by a fellow doctor who sent her on the run into hiding now she finds herself helping patients who can’t go into the hospital to be helped or can’t afford to go to the hospital, she has always done the right thing which is what landed her in the situation she is currently in but at least she still gets to help and that is how she feels when she saves a bleeding, nearly dead man unbeknownst to her his reputation. Kostya sexy as all get out enforcer brother to Nickoli neither is a man you want to cross or be on their radar he is dangerous, ruthless, on a good day, deadly every day, and when he is saved by the little doctor who happens to be a little well that means something to him despite the fact that he doesn’t do relationship. Kostya finds himself drawn to her, she brings out his need to protect, especially after learning her story now he will do everything in his power to right the wrong done to her spending time with each other have them growing closer neither can deny the magnetic pull but can he keep her safe, will she get her job back by clearing her name, and can they find happiness along the way?

Hold on for the ride of your life as things seemingly go from bad to worse!
I am captured with how Maya barely keeps herself together while working as a doctor in a back alley building with the help of a med student who sells her supplies on top of what she scrounges for herself. Yet when Konstantin knocks on her door after he bamboozled his way out of a botched surgery on an unwilling victim, the tingle of electricity makes her feel alive. For Konstantin, she’s all he can think about while his brothers try to dig further into the uncovered operation. When Konstantin follows up with Maya, she is ambushed and he brings her to his place for safety. While Konstantin discovers what Maya survived at the hands of her former doctor when she tried to reveal what he was doing, he also discovers her little side. With the help of his brother, he starts to give Maya what she needs. But will it all come tumbling down when Maya’s friend calls her for help? You have to read to find out and don’t expect to put the book down until you turn the last page!

Fun Read…

Great story arc and compelling characters. In brief, skilled surgeon Maya has been railroaded into losing her medical license by evil mentor and illegal organ transplant trafficker. As a result she operates illegally out of a basement and lives in terror of being found by this evil doer or by the authorities. Enter the Bratva’s enforcer Konstantin who has been nearly fatally wounded by the evil doer. She fixes him and then, through a series of events, he rescues her and protects her. The story arc of organ traffickers is horrifying but results in a satisfying conclusion. There are some DD/lg elements but these are included to round out who these two main characters are to each other. Some mild sex and a pretty fun role play scene but nothing that shouts triggering.

This is the first time I’ve read this author, and it most certainly will not be my last. This book was amazing. The depth of the story was so well written. The plot was excellent. Maya is hiding in a basement when she comes across Kostya. He’s badly injured. She patches him back up. These two develop a connection and he helps her out. This book was so good. It was very well written, and held a great amount of depth. This wasn’t just a quick read that gives a little story and background. This one dives deep and really pulls you in. This was intense and suspenseful. It was dark, but really good. I’m a huge fan of this book. And this author. I can’t wait to read more.

Maya was a true gem. Great doctor who had everything going for her. But she started noticing things. And reporting it just got her fired. Now she’s got her own little clinic to try and help those that need it. Which is where she meets Konstantin. He was wounded and needed help. So once the bad guys start coming after her Konstantin will do anything to keep her safe. Even though he normally didn’t think he was good enough and hid his emotions always she breaks through to him. And he does so good with her struggles as well. This was such a good book that you can’t put it down. This is part of a series but each book is about a different couple so they can be read as a standalone.

Maya is on the run after being falsely accused by a fellow surgeon. She now helps patients who either won't or can't be treated at a medical facility.
Kostya is the enforcer brother of Nickoli; he believes love is something that gets you killed.
The two learn that love can happen between two broken puzzle pieces. I loved how the two learned to trust each other.

A wonderful DDlg romance thriller…
Bratva enforcer Konstantin Besharov, aka Kostya and Dr Maya Cross are a perfect match. They couldn’t be more different yet they each provide the other with just what they need… I received a free copy of this book. This review was posted voluntarily.

A truly wonderful, emotional and captivating story.

Maya and Kostya are the perfect match. They are polar opposites, but that’s exactly what makes them perfect.

I was pretty invested in this but the age regression and DDLG thing gave me the ick. I know I should have guessed by the series name, but I feel like it came out of left field for me. I wanted more smut and sexy time and the dad stuff wasn't hot to me here (though I can usually get behind it a bit)

Cracking

A stonking read, fab characters and well developed plot. I really enjoyed this, book 3 but would also work as stand alone.
