Books 13 - 15 in the series that critics describe as “a wonderful blend of hope, humor, passion, romance, and forgiveness.” Westward Book 13 Gina Silvetti comes to Dawson to find that the man she was to marry has died. Handsome, Deputy Rick Westlake helps her and the two begin a romance. But, secrets and family strife threaten any future they may have together. Westward Book 14 Deena has wanted Eddie for her own for almost two years and means to have him however she can get him. Amid upheaval in Dawson and an unusual start, their love will be tested. Can they weather whatever changes come? Westward Book 15 Zoe Fontaine comes to Dawson, Montana, to wed Will, a very good man. Unfortunately, there is no chemistry between them. Enter, Raven, a young Lakota brave who seeks to win Zoe’s heart and make her his own.
Author: Linda Bridey Narrators: Alan Taylor and Jim Ellis 13. Westward Secret I think this was the most emotion evoking story I have read or listened to in a very long time. It was brilliant! Gina and Rick meet when she arrives to marry the Bank Manager who died just before she arrived (she didn't know that at the time of her traveling to meet him) and she is directed to the Sheriffs office. Rick soon arrives on the scene and there is an instant awareness of one another which flourishes and grows into something more significant. Not only do they get on but he and her children do too. All the characters are really wonderful. We've met most of them before but they all really play their parts so well in this stand-alone story which is not to be missed!
14. Westward Changes I had thought that 'Westward Secrets' had me swinging from one emotion to another continuously, but this one did too. This is a brilliant story with wonderful characters and Deena and Eddie are very interesting- the way they got together initially and what transpires is quite entertaining. The supporting characters, most of whom we have read about in previous books, give great support to the main characters. This is a story not to be missed! I loved the deep voice of the narrator Alan Taylor in the audiobook version as he lent his interesting voices to this story.
15. Westward Heartbeat In this story one can clearly see the two sides of the coin in connection with the racial integration and acceptance or the prejudices as far as the Whites and Native American societies are concerned at that time. This however, makes the story even more interesting as we see the love that blooms between Zoe and Raven. The majority of the community accepts their relationship and an important family member doesn't. Thank goodness they manage to sort their lives out and that there is a happily-ever-after. The book is filled with drama, adventure, romance, good and bad decision which tends to throw curves into the story, brilliant writing and really good narration and I am happy to recommend it. I listened to a promotional copy of the audiobook Box Set and this is my voluntary and unbiased review.
Third narrator for series, read/listen in series order. Delightful.
The characters of earlier books continue to appear (in secondary roles) in this sweet, clean, fun Western mail order tale, with occasional historic inaccuracies.

I didn’t read the others from the start, I did read these and boy what a treat!
You read about the Wonderful town and meet interesting people. You read about love blooming and even feel their suffering. I truly enjoyed reading this set of stories.
I only hope to get the opportunity to read more like this!
I love this book and the series by Linda Bridey. Taking a trip West and learning of the days when native American tribes were free to roam and the days of mail order brides. I laughed and cried as the characters evolve in this series of boxed sets. Make sure to read in order (it helps!). Ignore the typos and enjoy!
I love this author! The way she makes the stories come alive amaze me. When I find myself laughing at something the characters said or did, when I fight tears at sad scenes. Sometimes I can’t help but sob with my friends. Because truly the characters are just that friends from another time and place.
I was about to give up reading the Kindle books from Amazon as they became more and more offensive to me. When I found Linda Bridey’s Montana Mail Order Brides box sets, I took a chance on this ‘new to me’ author. What a treat to find such a talented author! I will be reading her books until I’ve read them all. Bravo Ms Bridey!
I absolutely love this series! There is so much humor with Joe and his brave braves,Owl and Black Fox's sweet tpoth. Ricks ferret, I could go on and on! And such sweet brides in each story! Wonderful read!
This is the the second series of yours I have had the pleasure to read. And I would say if you liked to laugh get to reading this set of box set by this author, weather your young or old, male or female you will not be disappointed!
I love this series and all of the characters and storylines. I also really enjoy some of the historical accuracy in regards to Native Americans, especially the trials they faced on reservations and in the forts. Looking forward to reading the next boxed set.
This book was hard to put down. It just follows the book before and I loved reading about the people in the earlier books Love the adventures along with th romances
I loved this series, one of my favorite Genres “Mail Order Brides”. This series was free and an author I have never read before. The stories were well written and kept me into each story. I loved all the characters and each one I felt I knew. Truly a very great read.
I always love this author, her writing is engaging and emotional. I love the stories of the next generation, the stories of the degradation of the Indians just broke my heart, but the ones that were smart rose from the ashes and brought their families with them.
It is wonderful to see that the Indians returned to their homes. Whites and Indians were able to become families and friends with each other. The brides and husbands that married the Indians were meant to be .great stories.
Wow just finished these three books enjoyed them emensely, Linda Bridey writes the best stories that actually make you feel like you are there within them and being a part of the story!! Highly recommend
Love family adventure misunderstanding and wonderful stories of family and friends makes these books very enjoyable and you never want to put them down
I totally enjoy reading the mail order bride books - the stories are delightful and all the people come to life - I can't wait to read the next series!
Reading this series has been so AWESOME. You feel like you are among the characters and joining with the characters in their day to day lives. Ready to read more!
All of this series is great, but these three will always hold a special place in my heart. Linda thank you so much for Rick and Raven's stories. You handled them very well. Even more than a century later these subjects are controversial and complex. And not to be forgotten was Eddie's story. I continue to be amazed at how many times people block the simplest solutions to life's problems. Keep writing and I'll keep reading!!!
One can’t imagine traveling that far and your husband to be has died. Another there is no spark, Will they wed anyways. Three different loves awaiting for us to enjoy, and how they will turn out. The audio by Alan Taylor and Jim Ellis were great bringing these stories to life.
