This series knocked it out of the park!

This is my first time reading Mary Ann Weir and I have already downloaded another of her books. I can’t say enough about these books. The characters we fabulous and Brummy!! Everyone needs their own Brummy. The fact that I laughed so much during these 3 books with the Antics of Zane and Brummy I even read an entire chapter to my husband as we both had a great laugh together. Our 3 main male characters are so different from each other and end up having such a depth to them was such a nice surprise and of course the main female character, Serafina, seems so broken at first but has a backbone of pure titanium. Thanks so much for one of the best reads ever and I can’t wait to start the next books. Oh and if I could I would give this 10 Stars not just 5.

5 + ⭐️
I don’t even know where to start.
At first, I was hesitant to start this series/trilogy. I wasn’t familiar with the author at all, and I personally am not a huge fan of books inspired by fairytales.
But I’m so incredibly happy that I gave it a chance. I don’t think I’ve ever read a why-choose book that had such amazing and extremely well written and thought out dynamic between all characters. The banter and the dialogue and the dynamic and the extreme passion that this author put into the relationships in this trilogy was so incredibly beautiful and heartwarming that that alone gets five stars from me.
It had me laughing out loud so many times with the goofy funny and hilarious shit that went down between the brothers and also with the brothers and their beloved. The humor and just silliness was truly on point.
Was it a perfect trilogy? No. Could it have had more focus on the main story and plot? Yes. But because the rest was just so good and cute and loving and well written I just didn’t care at all.
I do have to say that I wish that the three horrible monster bitches got a little bit more revenge and a more painful death than they got. But that’s me just being nitpicking.
I personally, and it’s a personal preference, love the broken and abused FMC trope . I also love a virgin trope. Again, those are just personal preferences. I love extremely obsessed and loving and caring MMC’s. And let’s not forget our beloved Brummy. The sweetest dire wolf in existence.
This book also had some really truly heartbreaking and sad parts. I mean, the wicked witch and her two stepdaughter were truly evil and did horrible things. But luckily the focus was more on growth and healing and love.
The author did such an amazing job when it came to the distinct and individual personalities of the three MMC‘s. It was such an extreme breath of fresh air, especially nowadays in why choose books all the MMC‘s are just a cut and paste from other MMC‘s. I’m not saying that these guys were something that I’ve never read before but their personalities and how they acted and how they reacted and how they interacted was just amazing and extremely well thought out, and you could truly through out this entire trilogy feel and read the passion that this author put into this project. You could definitely tell it was a passion project.
It also had amazing secondary characters that you just fell in love with. Like Foster and Addison and I could go on and on.
For me personally, this is one of the series that I’m just really truly gonna miss the characters and wish that we would get more of them in the future. The bonus content was just so freaking amazing and well written. It was such a cherry on top of an already delicious sundae.
Rule number 97, never forget how much you love this book and series.
And to anyone who doesn’t agree with my review, a big old unicorn fist for you, lol.

What an amazing end to another amazing series!

I love that all Mary Ann Weirs books are connected and love that Emerson & Angelo became fathers’ to baby Joslyn. I absolutely adore every book by Mary and loved that I started this all the way back to Posy on wattpad! What an amazing success this whole shifter universe series has been and I’m so happy I stumbled upon Posy years ago!

I also love that Mary still posts on wattpad about the stories and includes pictures to reference each character. I think that makes it so much more pleasurable to read and have character references to look back on!

I knew our girl Seri would be the one to end Bad Hurt witch Arabesque and knew she’d do it so powerfully but the fact she broke through her illusion spell and snuck up on her was *chef’s kiss* also loved the brumous was there to be her watch and felt they both deserved to do that together!

Loved Aloha Toast became part of their o’hana and melded into life at Evermere.

Also giddily called the epilogue after the first sentence but Casimir going on about permanent markers was top tier 😂

Now excuse me while I go back to the beginning and re-enjoy my Five Fangs men and their darling little luna Posy 🖤🖤🖤

weeks of enjoyment

I’m sorry this is long winded but damn, I read the first evermere book and loved it but knew I’d missed something so looked at the authors other works and found thoreous books and loved them so much but I knew I was reading out of order so I found posys book next and remembered I’d read that when it came out but read it again and then read the two books that came after that. Then thought to myself, read thoreaus books again to read them in order so I did. I then had to find out who Kerry and Gemma were so I found their books and devoured them.

I did save evermore book two for book threes release as I knew I was off from work and I’ve loved them so much. I can’t wait to go back and read them again.

And that’s how I’ve spent the last 6 weeks reading everything this author has written and loved every single book. I’ve cried with every book and laughed and smiled and totally enjoyed every minute spent reading.

These books. This series. Just beautiful. I loved it. I really enjoyed the world and the different characters and powers. I thought it was an exciting and new take on supernaturals and their world and abilities.

Overall, I give the entire thing 4.5 stars - I enjoyed everything. The only issue I had is though I liked having different POV’s and thought it brought a unique mix to the story, it felt a bit much for me. Even though each POV was written well to where it really reflected the character speaking, so much so to where you could often tell whose chapter is was simply based on what you already knew- it just was still too many different perspectives for me and I felt like it took away from the story just a bit. Though that could be others cup of tea and is really the only issue I have with this series so I definitely recommend giving it a read.

There are so many others reasons I enjoyed it. I felt like Seri and her vulnerabilities and trauma were real and written so very well. Even the way she healed it was automatic or easy which made it feel authentic and genuine which I think is relatable and it truly does make her easy to love the way she gives so freely and her compassion. And Brummy - I loved this damn dire wolf he is a beautiful sweetheart that I was happy to read about and I loved how he had his own quirks about him it really made him feel real and you could feel his trauma as much as Seri’s which was equal parts beautiful and devastating especially for me as I love animals. And then her 3 bonded dhampirs- Casimir, Koa, and Zane or as she fondly calls them Simmy, Koko, and Zoodle. I loved how they went straight into protective mode and became her supporters 110% the way they loved her and each had their own distinct personalities in the ways they did was amazing. How they continued to love her through all her trauma and insecurities while constantly reassuring and how she accepted all parts of them while gracefully putting those who hurt them in their place in ironically very sweet ways was so sweet. And even before her I loved their bond as brothers and how they never let anyone betray that or try to come between it. I truly enjoyed reading about each one of them and their growth throughout the series it was very cute and I’m always a sucker for an HEA.

I think the only thing that would’ve made it better for me in the end was knowing whether or not their relationship ever improved with their father and who exactly the traitor was in the vampire court and maybe a sneak peak much further into the future with Seri and her sister Josslyn just for curiosity purposes. Along with learning more about exactly what all their powers could do- we got sneak peaks into Zane and even bits about Cas, and more about Seri towards the end but I would’ve loved exploring into it even further.

All in all, I throughly enjoyed this series and though this review was a bit sporadic I definitely recommend the read. And as I always say I’m a sucker for an HEA and that’ll never change and these books gave me exactly that. Plus the found family trope is one that’s always been dead to my heart and though Seri and her 3 men were the mains, I love how they accepted Foster, Brummy, and Addison and Mrs. Wentzel into their little home, I think those added additions made it all the better.

A Well Paced Final Book

For those like me who are wary of starting the incomplete series- this is the wrap up book, you’re safe to start reading!

This was a great last book to an interesting series. The first book’s irredeemably evil step family threw me a little with it’s lack of dimension, but once the author got to the main story, the characters and plot made it worth it.

The FMC is healing herself and thawing the monsters around her, the MMC are well developed and become more in her presence rather than different. The drama is well balanced by the humor and genuine family affection, and getting to know Foster in this book was a delightful addition.

Why choose/ fairytale retelling/ arranged marriage/ marriage of convenience/ fated mates/ forced proximity/ found family/ hurt/comfort/ touch her and die/ morally gray MMCs/ MFMM/ pregnancy/ HEA

Trigger warning: death of a loved one/ neglectful parenting/ physical abuse/ psychological abuse/ emotional abuse/ assault/ violence/ trauma/ PTSD/ treason/ murder/ death

This was a good conclusion to the story but it felt like it took a while to get going. The spice was also lacking, in my opinion.

The battle against the antagonist was ok but it could have been more dramatic. She didn’t suffer nearly enough.

In Desperate Need of Weir in PRINT!!

Don’t read this book first. Actually, start with “Mates.” So, far it ends here, and I certainly hope it’s just “so far.”

I cried, at the banquet at the end when she finally…….well, you’ll see. It takes a lot for a book to make my cry and I certainly didn’t intend to do it on my lunch break at school.

I am so glad these books are in print now, I may have read them on Kindle, but they deserve binding. This one was just the latest love in a whole world that I have grown to adore. I already know where they’ll go in my house and they’ll be read……repeatedly.

Immersive world, deeply felt emotional scenes, and in turns brilliantly funny

What a joy! Especially Operation Duck and Cover with Commander Quack -- I laughed until I was wheezing. Just such a well-built story; there was darkness but it wasn't so dark you couldn't make it through and had to put it down. There was so much love, with honest reflection on how it changes us makes us better stronger and a better version of ourselves. It wasn't all rainbows and sunshine though either, it also had suspense, tension and a hard look at fear. But I have to say the humor was the best. Bravo, well done, never will get enough of Brummy!

A definite 5

I laughed and laughed, I cried, got scared for our heroine, got whimsical and all that blubbering stuff lol

Through it all I, felt the heart of the story.

Alpha Toast needs his own story though 😂

It's rare for me to not want a series to end but those MMCs were My favourite this year. Their characters actually grew the more we read, not a lot of authors manage that.

The series is not perfect, yet it invoked actual emotions from me, that's a winner for me.

If you need a Zane in your life, I recommend this one.

This series is definitely one of my favorite ones!! I loved how all of the characters progressed throughout the book. And Brummy is still my favorite! The author pulled everyone together. Tied up all the loose ends and I wasn’t left wondering what happened to… masterfully choreographed all 3 books. I’m a huge fan. I am looking forward to read everything else she has written.

Evermere

The Evermere books are Well worth the read. Seri's story started so tragic! But once she bribe to a forced marriage. Her world becomes so much more! The banter was so much fun and refreshing! A dire wolf with so much personality! 3 brothers so close and lethal but comical with each other! The evil step mom and sisters with issues! A joy to read with twist and turns but humor along with dark trials and issues! Great read

Humour

I don't usually leave reviews even for books I love but these three books are due one . The story is a good one intricate and twisting everything from wolves, vampires witches, but what makes it absolutely special is the humour to be able to write something that can make you laugh out loud is special. The three heroes in this series are the funniest funniest thing and I want them in my life. I will re read this series when I need cheering up !

Loved, Loved this series!

If you know me, I don't leave very many reviews and I only do it at th end of a series for the entire series. Trust me on this one, you want to read it. It is a 'blush' worthy series. Plus it will make you laugh, cry, get mad, and want to have three Cimmerians of your own. Give the series a read, you will finish it in a weekend. You will feel all the feelings. That's what makes a good book in my opinion.

Best yet!

I whipped through books 1 and 2, loving every letter and punctuation mark. But this one, OMG, my favorite. Starts off with a bang and proceeds to move through all the feels from falling on the floor laughter to nail biting suspense, to the best ever HEA! I know I’ll be rereading this trilogy again sooner rather than later.

Wonderful life affirming series

I loved this series so much. The characters are just so intense and intriguing. This was so unlike most fantasy stories I have read before. It didn’t reduce the female lead to a helpless damsel and the male leads kept their masculinity without becoming overly aggressive. It also showed the strength of expanding notions of family.

Wonderful Ending

This was a wonderful ending to this series! I really loved the extra at the end, it had me in tears, I was laughing that hard. The characters personalities throughout this series were both heart wrenching and comical at times, it was a great balance that this author was able to pull off and I loved every moment of it. I would definitely recommend.

Such a Fun Trilogy!

The wrap up for this trilogy was delightful.
Still fairly cozy. I remain convinced that I need 3 husbands and a dire wolf.
Z is a full-time lol party!
Ko is a poet in a warrior bod!
And Cas is the wisest, fiercest protector I’ve ever met between the pages of a book!
Brummy is aDIREable!
And Seri deserves them all.

Wow!

Loved this 3rd book of the series. I laughed out loud several times! What an intense and delightful end to the story about characters I grew attached to. I'm going to miss Seri and her naive stubbornness, Cas and all his contingency planning, Noa and his quiet strength and Zane and his hilarious antics. Can they show up in other novels, Mary Ann? I hope so!

thoroughly enjoyed

I really did enjoy this series. I wish we had more overlap with the wolves. I also loved when Lucian was around. I still have questions about the swan queen - literally not a maiden.

It was hard to finish, it did drag in places but it was loads of fun. I did enjoy this.

Excellent series of books!

Wow, oh wow. I waited till I had read all three books before I posted a written review. I loved all the characters excepted the dark witch. Hated her and her daughters. Perfects villains. I loved the character growth of everyone near Seri. Everyone she met loved her. I loved her. I loved all the brothers too.

This series has it all!

This series had me laughing, crying, on pins and needles and holding my breath. The writing is excellent and I loved how each book flowed from one to the next with out constantly adding repeats from the previous book. The story was unique, interesting and moved at a great pace. I can't wait to read more of Mary Ann Weird books.

cavity sweet

This is a level of charming that is hard not to love. The dynamic is lovely and the interactions hysterical. However, it did feel like one long epilogue - and the big bad was a blip in the scheme of things.

Skim Skimmarooed 1.5

I skimmed a lot of this book. The dialogue, for a grand majority of it, felt off and the forced humour left a lot to be desired. Speaking of desire, Seri had a very childlike quality to her which made shmexy times a whole lot of ick.

Good ending

This was a good ending to the series. It felt a bit rushed but I didn’t mind too much. The chapter where Zane and Brummy try to catch ducks was absolutely hilarious and adorable!
