A series of diary entries through the eyes of a young girl as she tries to survive the end of the world."I want to praise the writers for doing a great job at expressing Kellie's thoughts and mixed emotions. Another amazing installment in the series! Each book gets darker and darker in subject matter.

This part of the story reads a lot easier again, as Kellie has mainly overcome the horrible events of #5, or at least they have been told and are part of her life now.

I liked how Kellie has changed and keeps groing up with every further edition, and as she gets older. It is also always interesting how she interacts with others, how she sees others and how others deal with the situation.

It is not a bad series by no means, but I liked the first three books better. The last three were in constant decline and by the end of the sixth book I no longer felt empathy for any character.

I enjoyed this series. But I thought book six would wrap ever thing up. After all, it was released in 2015 and it is now 2020. I get to the end of book six and it ends in a cliff hanger and informs readers that book seven will be coming sometime in 2015.

On Facebook the authors quit promoting the books in 2017, so I'm assuming they have no plans to finish the series. I would not recommend that anyone start Kellie's Diary until book seven appears. I am just glad that the books were short, so not much of my time was wasted.

Great Cliffhanger! But did the cliff collapse?

One of the most exciting ones in series. Couldn't wait for the next, but it seemed to just end! Which made me want to give a one star. It said #7 out in 2015 - WHAT! No ending? Please let me if I somehow missed something...

Worth the time reading, worth more than the money spent

I finished reading this book last week but was pondering how I could give feedback via a review without spoiling it for other readers. I must say, since day one (the first book), I have been impressed by the amazing courage and strength of this young girl. To be able to survive a zombie infestation at that young age and to pull out of those hardships is just admirable.

I did feel a for Kellie, which is one of the reasons I felt the need to follow her saga. The writers made sure to include in Kellie's "adventures" some of the harsh realities in life. These are things that exist whether you live in a progressive nation or a third world nation. And in this series, the exist even when a large part of society has become infested with zombies.

I was glad that Kellie still had true friends willing to sacrifice for her as much as she was willing to sacrifice for her sister Lydia. And I was glad that unlike many girls in the story (and in real life), Kellie was "rescued" from the dark world she was thrown into by Victor.

I want to praise the writers for doing a great job at expressing Kellie's thoughts and mixed emotions. I realize that someone so young and inexperienced who is forced to survive and deal with complex situations will have inner turmoil to deal with as well. Kellie's Diary definitely gives the reader an insight into the complexities of such a young person's mind.
