I was so excited for Nikolai's book and it was so good! Him and Reid are great together and the banter and relationships with the rest of the guys was so good.

Nikolai Borokov left Russia for a better life in America, New York City. He was eighteen at the time and believed what he was told by Mikhail, who made it all sound so good. But Nikolai found out different. He had one person who he could depend on and that was Reid Miller, until Reid came up missing. As much as Nikolai could do, he never found Reid and believed he was dead. When Nikolai made a plan to escape Mikhail, he had saved himself and now lives a free life.
Nikolai lives in the small town of Baton, New Mexico. He found a new family with Marcus and the Shadow Vipers. Marcus is head of the Shadow Vipers and owns the Ride ‘Em Hard club where Nikolai works as a bouncer. The Vipers also do other jobs for Marcus, who they consider a father figure. With his new life, came a new family in the way of the Shadow Vipers with: Blade, Ace, Cade and Lucas. He’s watched as Cade and Blade have met their significant others and at times he gives that some thought.
On one of Marcus’s business meetings he takes the Shadow Vipers rolling into West Hollywood to work out some deals with Dominic Baas’ head of the Double Aces crew. The meeting ended early in the AM a time when all the party goers were all going home. The Vipers decided to walk back to their hotel and take in the sights. While Nikolai was trailing behind, he saw someone running towards him and the man ran right into him. When their eyes locked Nikolai couldn’t believe he was looking at Reid Miller, his long lost missing friend of ten years.
Reid Miller didn’t have time to stop, he was being chased by three men in suits. With a sharp whistle, Nikolai get’s Marcus and the other Vipers to detain the three men, as he rides off to try and find Reid. But Nikolai’s luck runs out and he doesn’t find Reid.
Has Nikolai lost his friend Reid, again or will Reid find Nikolai? What will happen when and if the two cross paths again?
Matthew Dante never fails to bring fun, many heart felt moments and steamy moments, suspense and great fight scenes to this third installment of “Bikers of Mayhem” with “Carnal Sin”. Dante always introduces readers to new biker crews that get involved with the Shadow Vipers but with “Carnal Sin” he brings out a very strange biker gang and lot’s of surprises. With Nikolai and Reid there’s many flash backs of the dark moments that they went through as being in Mikhail’s “Diamond Squad”. For Nikolai it’s a time to find out about his own sexuality.
The characters keep this series interesting as they go through their lives and support each other. As I follow this series, Marcus has become an interesting character. He’s a man in charge, stern, over protective of his brother Ace, but is always willing to help any of the family of Shadow Vipers. I hope there are plans for a Marcus story somewhere down the line. Can’t wait to see what’s next from Matthew Dante for the “Bikers of Mayhem”.

If you want sexy bikers with crazy antics, laugh-out-loud moments and a little bit of mayhem, then look no further than Carnal Sin, book 3 of the Bikers of Mayhem series, and this time it's Nikolai's story.
Niko, and his best friend Reid, have such an emotional story to tell, but as always, Matthew Dante intersperses the emotion with laugh out loud moments, which just makes me fall more in love with all of the Shadow Vipers members.
Niko arrived from Russia as a naïve 18-year-old, where he was unknowingly trafficked and forced to become an elite escort.
Whilst there, he met and befriended Reid, who had been struggling with addiction when he found himself in Mikhail’s clutches and was brought into the Diamond Squad of elite escorts.
Once Nikolai entered his life, Reid took him under his wing, always protecting him and falling in love with him along the way.
But when they were separated in devastating circumstances - my heart honestly broke for what Reid went through - Niko believed his best friend is dead, and realised his time was running out, so he escaped and eventually found his place with Marcus and the Shadow Vipers crew.
Ten years later, Reid reenters Niko's life, and this time, they are determined not to lose each other. But will Niko give into the feelings he has for his best friend and realise that they always meant more to each other?

The entire group of bikers has made me fall so hard for them. I swear I laughed out loud each time Marcus threatened Blade for being with Ace 🤣 And Lucas is AMAZING!! This guy is so funny but totally heroic and slightly psychotic. I love him 🤣 Even Reid couldn't believe the innocent looking twink could have a penchant for mayhem 🤣

I absolutely love this series. It's fun, but it has serious storylines, too. It's spicy, it has great characters and beautiful couples, and these guys are so supportive of one another. I truly hope Matthew brings us many more of this biker crew's stories.

Bikers of Mayhem is a dark biker romance series. Carnal Sin is book three where we learn more about Niko and his past.
Niko is a rough and tough biker with a surprisingly traumatic past. He was trafficked when he came to the United States from Russia and spent years as part of the diamond squad. That’s where he met and became best friends with Reid. When Reid disappears one night, Niko begins to realize that he will never be free. Fast forward a bit and Niko is free and a part of the Shadow Vipers. They are his brothers and have become his family.
This book explores trafficking and the trauma left behind. We learn more about Niko and Reid and how they became trapped in their situation and how they freed themselves. I really feel like this is a more emotional book than the first two. We have Ace and Blade’s magical wedding and the developing feelings Niko has for Reid. We also have the information that Reid is hiding about himself from Niko. Reid has become a fighter in his own way. He works with a private group to help break up trafficking rings and bring monsters to justice. In the first books, Niko felt closed off. As Reid and Niko spend more and more time together, Niko opens up and becomes a deeper more emotionally available person. When these two come together, it feels like their worlds are put back together again. It is really beautiful. This book brings laughter and tears and justice. It is a great read!

This is a great edition to my favorite Motorcycle Club. I loved Niko in the other books and was excited to get his story. Niko and Reid were very cute together. Considering both MCs are survivors of human trafficking this was low angst story with plenty of humor thanks to Niko and the other guys in the club. I love how they interact with each other. It was great getting to see them all again and Lucas from book one getting to be an unhinged murder twink. ❤️ I can’t wait for more of these guys!

Ummm so this book included scary clowns so reader beware. We know Matthew likes dark but that was a new dark I wasn't expecting but they were a great added value to the story and series. Best friends from way back, Reid pops back into Nikolai's life under not the best circumstances and opens Nikolai's eyes to a different side of himself to explore. I enjoyed seeing their love story unfold amidst the chaos and mayhem that is the Shadow Vipers MC.

I enjoyed the characters and the background buildup. I know these are HEA gay romance and appreciate them just for that, however, sometimes the legal aspects of the book could be a bit more realistic, not too much so not to weigh it down. This is still a good read and I like the retribution of the evil people.

Niko & Reid
This one was my favorite of the series. Niko and Reid were perfect together. I absolutely loved their story. I also enjoyed seeing characters from the previous stories especially Lucas.

💕 Despite the fact that Nikolai and Reid met in the high-end world of human trafficked sex workers prior to the start of this story, this book is full of laughter, snarky banter, and fun brotherly love.
After 10 years of not knowing what happened to his best friend, Reid literally bumps into Niko while on the run in Las Vegas. When he shows up days later at the Shadow Vipers bar, the two are able to reconnect, answer old questions, and forge a new path forward together.
Niko and Reid are a fantastic match: sexy and funny. Having been sex workers together, they are very liberal in their actions and lack no ounce of shyness. This results in a very steamy book.
But soon, Niko begins to question his sexuality - his very straight sexuality. And the realisation surfaces that Niko has only ever had threesomes. The reasoning for that, albeit a subconscious one, is absolutely beautiful.
