Born in Sheffield, England, and now living with his wife on the Suffolk coast, Simon Eyre is a writer of high-octane thrillers for adult readers who crave a hefty helping of action, twists and excitement. He is the author of two novels and several novellas and short stories. They include:
Getting Away With It, The Deadly Embrace, Pinned Down and The Hacker and the forthcoming The Money Trail.
Simon decided to self-publish his debut novel Getting Away With It. “Writing novels has been something I’ve dreamt of doing, ever since my English teacher took me and a group of classmates to see Macbeth at a local theatre in Ecclesfield.”
The book was a surprising success, which spurred him on to write a follow-up, The Deadly Embrace, where the hero Daniel Sawyer faces further harrowing challenges. In Simon’s stories, mystery, and mayhem are constant attributes, and the forthcoming The Money Trail is no exception.
Before retiring as a digital healthcare company director, Simon travelled the world on business. These days he continues to journey around the continents in search of inspiration for his writing. He reflects his adventures throughout his work, creating a vivid sense of place, transporting his readers to the exotic locations of his own explorations.
