I was so into the Scooby-Doo franchise as a kid - I remember reading so many of the mystery books, and this one to learn more fun facts about the gang.

This has some lighter stuff - quizzes, recipes, bios about the characters, etc. The thing I most remember from my childhood was finding out the secret recipe for Scooby Snacks and making them with my mom - the first time I tried coconut!

This was a cute throwback to reread - I don't know how many copies circulate today, but I'm really glad I read this as a kid. Short but sweet, it fed into my love for the stories even more.

Not that great. There were parts of this book that I enjoyed or thought were funny but overall I didn’t care for this book. There were a lot of parts where it seemed like the author was making fun of Scooby Doo and the gang which isn’t what I want to read when I pick up a Scooby Doo book. Shaggy kept saying “Yuk! Yuk!” in parts where he was laughing which I don’t think I’ve ever heard him do. The author kept referring to “the people posse” instead of the gang which was really weird. It was just a weird book that didn’t really make sense and I didn’t care for the sarcastic tone making fun of the characters when I’d wanted to read a good Scooby Doo book. I would not recommend this book.

Cute! I love Scooby-Doo and this was a fun kids book. It has quizzes, recipes, how to capture ghouls, and all about the Mystery Inc. team. I can't wait to introduce this to my kids.

My love of reading started when i was young, and it gives me immense pleasure to provide books to Spread the Word Nevada, an organization that passes them on to children in the community. They are a terrific organization supporting an important cause. If your local I encourage you to check them out. For those living further a field, look in your own community, their may already be a similar program in place. And if not, you can always help start one.

Myself, I go out on the weekends and
shop thrift store and bulk book lots to rescue books and donate them. Sometimes I'll find a book I remember reading when I was young and will read it again before passing it on.

I don't rate these books using my normal scale, instead I give most of them three stars. This isn't a Criticism of the book, simply my way of rating them as good for children.
