This book gave lots of ways to think about dreams. I appreciated that the author was open minded and presented so much information about different methods. I had been interested in Jungian dream interpretation before, and now I have a broader knowledge of what else is out there to consider. You could really spend months interpreting one dream if you considered it from all the angles presented. Only thing I am upset about is that none of Vedfelt's other books have been translated to English!

"The Dimensions of Dreams" is an intriguing blend of pseudo-science and phenomenal psychology.

A very encyclopedic review of modern psychoanalytical dream interpretation. Very informative and helpful in determining which area of research to turn to and what the prevailing schools of thought are in each topic. Not a light read - but if you're interested in dreams, psychology, or want to know what the differences between each school of thought is, this is your book.
