What Is Love’s Landscapes?
The Goodreads M/M Romance Group invited members to choose a photo and pen a letter asking for a short M/M romance story inspired by the image; authors from the group were then encouraged to select a letter and write an original tale. The result was an outpouring of creativity that shone a spotlight on the special bond between M/M romance writers and the people who love what they produce.
210 stories were submitted and have now been published as a seventeen volume set with five additional bonus volumes, titled Love’s Landscapes. This edition is Bonus Volume 2.
The stories in this collection may contain sexually explicit content and are intended for adult readers. They may contain content that is disagreeable or distressing to some readers. Holy Wow! This volume was dark. A lot of pain, hatred and anger.
Checking Him Out - Debbie McGowan
I immediately felt for Sol. He was stuck in a "lavender" marriage (for those who don't know, it's a marriage of convenience where one or both spouses are homosexual and are trying to hide it) with a semi controlling, stuck up b*tch. He finds the love of his "new" life, Adam then goes for him after she is already seeing someone also, she plays victim. Talk about wanting to jump into the story and slap someone. Once he got away from her permanently things for him got better. With Adam by his side Sol faced his past and his out of sync mother. Both Sol and Adam are alphas and were battling for dominance in the relationship but they finally settled into a balance once this storms were weathered and understanding sank in. The author does a great job showing the reader that homophobia doesn't just from outside it can also come from within.
Missing Piece - Riina Y. T.
These two friends come back together after many years being a part and truths are finally revealed. Leo and Mattia resume their friendship that finally end with happiness. Matt is lost everything and Leo gave it back to him in a different way. Leo was thy legs one man Mattia could be himself around even during a breakdown after his devastating break up. They are definitely complete opposites yet fit so perfectly together. They find the happiness they deserve in each other.

Beo was dying and Colt was running from his past. Watching these two heal and change each other with help from those around them was beautiful. With love and acceptance they had hope for a bright future together. This Dom found his one true sub and love of his life just and this sub found his one true Dom and love of his life.
