Live Like a Girl: A Gradual Feminization Story

Rate this book
*BOOK 3 OF 3 IN THE “LIKE A GIRL” SERIES*

Some bold, out-of-body actions have Taylor wondering whether he’s taken femininity a bit too far. Or maybe… not far enough?

It’s his final semester of graduate school, and Taylor is still reeling from the admittedly foolish decision he made the night of the Elkhorn football game. But that’s all in the past. Now he needs to buckle down, focus up, and prepare for the final stretch of his program. There’s a lot on the line, after all!

Thankfully, he has fresh, new Strike the perfect balance between his masculine and feminine selves while still prioritizing his studies. But dampening those feminine urges might be easier said than done — especially when there’s so many wonderful, girly things out there to experience. Not to mention some more… physical urges he must keep at bay.

What a totally awesome story

I love the way all three stories melded together. It helps, now that are three available you can just bang them out. To say the ending was awesome would be an understatement. Professor was a marvel. Taylor, Jack and Emma-what a trio and the I M team yeah.

I cried

I’ve been waiting patiently for the end of this trilogy, and now that it’s here and I read it, I’m sad. But I didn’t cry out of sadness, I cried towards the end of the story when Taylor said something that was so painful, but something I have felt myself so many times. This book series really touched my heart. I love all of Jennifer Sweet’s. I hope she writes many wonderful books in the future. I know I will read them all.

Well written as always

Spoiler alert. Trigger Warning, this story contains transphobia, discrimination, and what is unfortunately all too common for us trans folks a great deal of self hatred. Also I will be mentioning suicide.

I’ll admit, the last third I think it was, was a hard read for me. It was triggering. It also breaks my heart seeing any of us detransition and think we’re confined to a fate of misery because the world is so fucking hostile to people like us. Please, if you’re an ally reading this use your voice and power to help fight the atrocities committed against us, like Kendall did. It can be as simple as stepping in and talking to us while derailing a harasser, or just correcting someone using incorrect pronouns. Or writing your politicians and demanding our basic human rights be upheld. Or even just a smile a hello and a compliment if you happen to know a member of my community.

Being trans is hard enough with the constant pain of dysphoria that many of us experience, that alone would increase our suicide rate well above the general population, but then add in the extremely hostile world to our existence and it ups it dramatically. 1 in 2 trans people have attempted or seriously considered suicide (I am a survivor). Let that ratio sink in, 1 in 2. The risk for that adverse outcome is reduced significantly with the support of friends and especially family. So be as supportive as you can, as Tay demonstrated, it can make all the difference in the world.

If my family had supported me and loved me I’d be in a much better and different place now. It would have changed my life dramatically and for the better. So please, if you know trans person, be as supportive as you can.

I love your books

I really relate to Taylor. I have done the focus time femme time split and thought I was clever but in the end I too crashed very hard. Now I am living as my true girly self. Also, I have last job opportunities because of who I am
