"With cases of being inattentive, restless, impulsive, and many other rough traits this condition might turn you into, there is still hope that you could be a person of use rather than a destruction to society. This book is a hit! " -Teddy O. "There’s hope and support here for ADHD sufferers and their loved ones." -Rhonda B. "This book has so much great information about symptoms, behaviors, treatments, and even how to parent a child with ADHD that I believe this is an excellent resource for anyone dealing with this situation in their life." -Amy
Do you really know what ADHD is? What if I told you ADHD doesn't have to be characterized as a disorder? What if I told you ADHD can actually be used to one's advantage?
The topic of ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) has been thrown around a lot recently. Unfortunately, it usually has a negative connotation attached to it. If one is already diagnosed with ADHD, why not use it to one's benefit? Time to open up your eyes to a new perspective!
This book has valuable information that will educate you on the topic of ADHD!
Good for someone who is unfamiliar with ADHD and needs a basic educational foundation. Not much new information from a professional stance. This book lacks research and citations, which one would expect when exploring psychology and mental illness. Very poor grammar, which is hard to get past...
Finally feel like I'm not crazy and realizing I have this disability. I read this and felt like it was about me. It was very insightful and I'm glad to have the knowledge now. Thanks
I liked how it set out the probable causes, symptoms, and consequences for ADHD. I was diagnosed with ADHD and I wasn’t aware of all the behaviors and other mental illnesses that went hand in hand. After I finished reading I felt more informed, but the treatment section only covered medication use which I found unhelpful.
Three stars for the fact that the book is pretty mundane. It contradicts. For example, being able to obtain a partner for sex to reproduce, however you can inherit ADHD from a parent. Okay? There's no problem. They're impulsive to say the least. The last chapter was wonderful and gives ADHD parents hope. The video at the end was the best part.
This is terrible. Makes a lot of inaccurate statements, and provides misleading information. Some interesting history on ADHD, but a majority of everything else was just major BS. Not a good book on ADHD.
This was a very informative book, I discovered many things that I thought weren't related to my adult adhd. Thanks for taking the time to put this together
