Paws and Probable Cause #4

Come: A Paws & Probable Cause Mystery

Rate this book
Forty years ago, a sailor died at the regatta. Everyone called it an accident. Everyone was lying.

Summer in Tidal Cove means sunshine, lobster rolls, and the annual sailing race. It's supposed to be Wren's first carefree season in her new home. Instead, she receives an anonymous letter that changes everything.

Her grandmother was there the day David Ashworth died. And according to the letter, she helped cover up his murder.

Now the prestigious Calloway Cup is missing, the retired Commodore who knew the truth is dead, and someone is warning Wren to stop asking questions.

She can't.

This isn't just another mystery. This is her family. Her grandmother's legacy. Her own right to call Tidal Cove home.

As Wren investigates, she discovers that the founding families have been protecting each other's sins for generations. Old rivalries. Hidden affairs. A conspiracy of silence that began before she was born.

The truth is calling. And this time, Wren has to answer.

A cold case cozy mystery with family secrets, summer sailing, and stakes that hit close to home. Book 4 in the Paws & Probable Cause series. Dive into the past today.

Animals are family

Missed Duchess...she became part of the family. Where did she go? Intrigue, characters fleshed out, mystery, truth and greed clash. It all fits together and works to make it exciting yet real.

Good read

It was good to learn the family history and again justice was served. My only concern is what happened to Dutchess?
