Bubba's back, and he's running through the graveyard! Somebody's been digging up bones in a small mountain town in Tennessee, and it's up to Bubba and the gang to figure out what's bumping in the night this time! Before he gets done with this case, Bubba will get arrested, get sprung, attend a funeral, hood surf a limo, end up with a Lincoln hood ornament shoved where the sun don't shine, shoot a bunch of monsters, and blow up a local business.
In other words, it's Tuesday.

Bubba actually meets a good-old-boy sheriff bigger than him. I would love to see this be brought to screen. Bubba uses his sheer size to intimidate as often as he bemoans the fact he can never look innocent. Imagine after nearly two seasons of him being the biggest boy in the camera shot, to have this episode. The humor component of having Bubba look up at something human would make me giggle throughout the episode.
That is if I get past the monsters. They ain't killing monsters, yet, but the Messiah complex Bubba's brother Jason is infecting the country-side with, means it is only a matter of time. And what better time than a funeral of a high school hero who wrapped himself around a tree? I picture the funeral fight being put on the small screen like a fight scene from an episode of "Preacher".

As an unabashed fan boy of the Bubba series, this wonderfully episodic series is everything, in my opinion, every supernatural tv show wants to be, but doesn't have the guts to do. Ghouls menacing a small Eastern Tenessee town who happen too be devoted acolytes of Bubba's worst enemy make a mess of a tragic time in that town. Bubba also is reminded that while he is fighting in a war, his own personal battle royal is looming out on the horizon. Best value you can get for your money, if you love this sort of thing as much as I do.
Truthfully when I started reading this series I thought I would hate it. I mean "Bubba" conjures up a certain image that is not flattering. Of course the author was counting on people thinking the same thing. Bubba however uses people's preconceived notions of a hillbilly redneck to his advantage. Add in Skeeter as his best friend and it just works. It gets corny and crass, but totally owns up to knowing they are skirting the line.
Bubba is back in action. This time he's in Tennessee looking into some grave robbing. Before he can get too far, he's arrested. With Agent Amy to bail him out, Bubba will have to team up with the local law enforcement to save the town from a pack of ravaging ghouls. It's another monster-stompin' adventure with everybody's favorite redneck monster hunter.
