Regan Malloy is a dedicated homicide detective married to her job. A tough woman who holds her own when it comes to the opposite sex, she is nevertheless resigned to lonely nights with fantasy men. Regan is furious to find the sexy lawyer at the club but can't deny her attraction or her need to dominate him. Kyle discovers more than clues as, to keep from blowing their cover, the fiery cop demands obedience. Together they embark on a journey to explore this new world of hidden desires, but the road could take a dangerous turn when they cross paths with the killer.

Really enjoying this series. My guess is it's 80% suspense with 20% romance, perfect for me as I prefer suspense element to be larger than romance.
Follows a family of Boston Irish cops. Long running story through the series with each book having its own case.
Varied relationships, mm, mfm, fm (don't often get a woman as the dominant partner in a fictional bdsm relationship). The author writes each relationship equally well.
Very worthwhile read if you enjoy romantic suspense.
I went into this book with reservations. I had asked myself - will this be good, and will I like it? My inner reply is yes on both counts. While I got the required dose of sexy time, I also got a pretty cool urban cop drama, featuring a female detective on the hunt for a bat shit serial killer. During her investigation, the detective - Regan Malloy - meets one of the victim's close friends, attorney Kyle Ramsey - and ends up having a DOMME/sub relationship with him. The story was written well enough, and it didn't stoop to an over-abundance of sex. Or cookie-cutter sex (not by a long shot - lol). As interesting as the crimes may be, I probably won't be reading the other books in the series though, as I don't care for ménage stuff or m/f(receiver) buttsexx. 3.5 stars!
Cuffed and Collared is the third book in the Boston’s Brave series by Samantha Cayto. While this book is part of a series, it can be read and enjoyed as a standalone novel.
Regan Malloy is a woman who is dedicated to her job as a homicide detective. She is a tough woman who can hold her own either on the job or relaxing. A case that is assigned to her about a serial killer who targets submissive men leaves her with little choice but to go undercover. While undercover, she starts to learn the attraction of domination and BDSM.
Kyle Ramsey is a lawyer at the top of his career. He balances raising his child with is workaholic life. Kyle has trouble trusting anyone and seems to have the mindset that if something has to get done right he will have to doit himself.
The connection between Regan and Kyle is intense. They make a great pair. It was easy to see that Regan tried to stay away from Kyle. I loved how honest Kyle was about his involvement is helping catch his friend’s killer. The sex scenes were scorching. I enjoyed how the author balanced the murder mystery with romance.
I found this book well written with an interesting plot. The main characters and the secondary characters were fascinating. While the ending was a little predictable, the journey the book takes the reader on is gripping with several unanticipated twists and turns that keep the reader on the edge of their seat. I had a hard time putting this book down. Overall, this was a very enchanting book and I hope to see these characters again in the future.
