This is even better than the first one. The plot has picked up quite a bit.

Die Mädchen halten zusammen, komme was wollen.
Man darf also gespannt sein.

This series likes to end its volumes with cliffhangers. After the events in volume one, we start with a short battle followed by a history and the importance of the Saint Something Four. The plot further thickens with the introduction of new demons, Yanagiba holding a secret and Yousuke getting kidnapped by the demons. This fast paced romantic fantasy series is starting to get serious!

There was quite a bit to unfold in this volume. Momoko is the innocent one and seems to believe there is good in everyone. This is sometimes the reason why she gets hurt but it’s also endearing how she tries to reason with the demons. Yuri and Hinajiku on the other hand, are more logical but protective. I feel like they are Momoko’s older sisters, guiding and supporting her through the situations. I enjoyed their relationship and look forward to their strengthening bond.

Momoko’s relationship with Yousuke is definitely one of love although they might not realize it yet. I love their dynamics together and how Yousuke is protective of Momoko. It’s honestly sweet and I wish we could see when Yousuke started having these feelings for Momoko.

The story in this volume introduces new powers and characters. While Pluie uses multiple methods to try and capture the Saint Something Four, the Love Angels have repetitive powers, I guess. Momoko’s ring does protect and showcase new powers but they aren’t used in battle much. This made the story fall a little flat for me because I would have loved to see some variation and maybe the sword again. That said, the fights are quite underwhelming.

This volume introduces some unanswered questions such as, what happened to Momoko’s mother, or Yanagiba’s true identity. I liked how they were woven into the story but didn’t take away from the main purpose of finding and protecting the Saint Something Four.

Similar to volume one the artwork is expressive and detailed. I loved the one and two page full spreads. I felt like they really added to the beauty of the manga and helped highlight key areas. I also liked how the series tries to cut down on repetition which is a welcomed change. My only complaint would be that all the side character wedding brides look alike so I can’t tell them apart.

Overall, this was a fun and fast-paced read. I’m looking forward to the developing plot in the next volume and hopefully we’ll find more of the Saint Something Fours.

Finding out that the soccer guy (the main one) was the Arch(???)angel Limone at the end of the 'extra' last volume, really makes his suspicions as the soccer guy in this one like really amusing. And I actually like Momoko and Yosuke's relationship, haha.

Yosuke has been kidnapped by one of the devils and it is up to Wedding Peach and her friends to save him! On their journey in a world between ours and the demon world, they will face a foe who will pit them against one another, testing their bonds, their love, and their trust. But they have no time to bicker while Yosuke is being turned into something else by the demons!

Well, I certainly did not get this far in the anime. Or the manga and anime took very different directions. Either way, 96.5% of this volume was all new content to me. I waited an awfully long time to make a review for it though, so it likely won't be very long and definitely not as descriptive or feelsy as I had initially wanted this review to be.
So, Momoko is definitely in love with Yosuke. At least, I believe it to be puppy love, which is so sweet and pure and curious. She still shows signs of love for Yanagiba, but I think it's something else. I think she is just so into the habit of being "in love" with him, that she doesn't know how else to react to him. Not to mention that he likely has a very attractive aura considering he is most likely Angel Limone! Although, I am beginning to doubt that theory of Yanagiba's identity a little. But I am almost 100% sure that he is hiding another part of himself.
Also, did anyone else feel that this was kind of a mix of Sailor Moon and some other old shoujo which slipped my mind..? Anyway, this was quite the pleasant read. It gave me some more will to be happy and positive, the first volume did so as well. I enjoyed it, and I can't wait to find this volume for a good price somewhere so that I may add it to my collection.

The story continues to be super cute and cheesy. Momoko/Wedding Peach is crazy nice, seeing the good in everyone even if they are pretty much evil, but the other two of the trio are more realistic.
