When Milan Marcano opens his front door to the shock of a lifetime, he is forced to face a truth he buried with his grief, and that Daija is alive, and she isn’t alone. With a newborn in her arms and fear in her eyes, she crashes back into Milan’s world at the worst possible time.
Meanwhile, life with Tylissa — his surrogate — was finally finding its rhythm. Their bond was growing, their future was forming, and peace was within reach. However, Daija’s reappearance shook things up in the entire Marcano household — old emotions surfaced, new tensions ignited, and loyalties quietly shifted.
While everyone inside is fighting their own demons — grief, jealousy, guilt, identity — the real danger is waiting just beyond the walls.
Frost, the enemy who refuses to stay buried, is plotting his deadliest move yet, setting the stage for a war that will force Milan and Maverick to unleash parts of themselves they swore they’d never return to.
As the Marcano empire stands on the brink of collapse, one truth becomes In this world, love is costly, loyalty is dangerous, and survival is never guaranteed.

The drama continues and was definitely turned up a notch. I really enjoyed this series. Milan is that guy, calm, cool, collected and calculated. I loved how the relationship between him and Tylissa just flowed natural. She was definitely the better woman for him. Daija got exactly what she deserved. Things aren't always better on the other side and she paid the price on both ends. Channy really messed up. I believe if she was just honest with Maverick, he would've actually helped her. But oh well, she had to be dealt with as well. It sucks that Maverick had to experience that type of betrayal. I do hope he gets a story and finds that perfect lady for him. Overall, a great series with a beautiful ending.
It was good but not as good as I expected. Milan just welcomed Daija back after she said Frost had her captive. He didn’t interrogate her, didn’t question anything, and didn’t even try to figure out if she could be trusted. The twins were too soft. They let everyone go free except Frost and Channy. There was so much potential for a great series, but this felt like unfamiliar territory for the author because the drama was extremely light and the villains got way too much grace.
I also love on page romance, but Ty and Milan felt like they were only together because the author wrote it that way. I didn’t experience enough between them to make the connection believable. Frost wasn’t scary at all and I never understood what his end game was. Nothing was written deeply enough for emotions to build.
I honestly forced myself to finish. I wanted to move on to something else from my TBR but I pushed through. We knew everything so early in the story that there was no mystery left. No twists or turns because we already knew everyone was connected to Frost. What could have made this series stronger was letting the villains come to a head one by one, giving each reveal its moment instead of everything being known upfront.
It just wasn’t enough action, not enough tension, and not enough depth to carry three books.
Explosive way to end the series, P. Wise really did it AGAIN. 🔥 Milan started this journey in a relationship with Dai, thriving and mapping out forever, and then BOOM…betrayal, chaos, near-death moments, and a heartbreak that felt personal.
Then Ty slid in, unbothered, healing, and showing Milan what love was supposed to look like. And listen… watching Milan go from dodging bullets, literally and emotionally to building a soft life with someone who actually deserved him??? Chef’s kiss.
Seeing him start a family with someone worthy, after all that scandal, mess, and “how did we even get here” drama was PERFECTION.
From love lost to love reborn, from chaos to peace… WHAT. A. RIDE. ❤️🔥
First off I want to say Mav is about to be on demon time !!! But this was the perfect wrap up !!! It was F daija in book one and it’s was F her in the finale !!!! Ty love her down . She had the aura throughout the whole book that just proved she deserved her happy ending!! Milan stood on business about Ty even when he was trying to keep it strictly business ! So he played no games once his feelings came to play !!
Channy got what she deserved because when she knew what would happen she was gone run off instead of tryna help !
F Frost forevaaaa
Can’t wait to get Mav story it’s about to go down and get an update on Milan and Ty !!
Thank you P for an amazing story and I can’t wait for the next !!
Why did Channy have to be this way? She could’ve told Mav the truth. Let him save her from Frost. Now he’ll never love again. He thought he found someone only to find out she was pawn in a dangerous game. I want him to have a woman and kids like Milly. We need a story on him. Someone has to break that frozen heart. Milly almost lost his babies and woman. I’m glad Daj was incoherent and talking at the hospital. She knows she was wrong. Setting up Ty like that. I hurt for her when her mother passed. Oh and Five had some nerve to show up at the hospital questioning Ty. Glad Milly was right there. This was so much to unpack, but I loved every minute of it! Job well done as always!
Excellent ending to a great series those Marcano men!!!
This story was so charged and suspenseful. Channy, Frost and Daija thought they were getting over on Mav and Milan but in the end they all got dealt with. Daija was stupid because she should've realized Milan didn't want her, he put her out months before so having Nigel didn't change the way he felt about her and she should've realized playing with Milan could get her killed. Poor Mav, he fell for a skeezer!!! She could've told him what Frost was up to and saved herself and her mother but she chose the wrong side to stand on. In the end Tylissa and Milan got together with all the babies. This was a great read, loved it!!!
Frost wanted the twins' spot and notoriety, but he didn't want to put in the type of work ethic that they did to earn their spot. Every trap he set failed 😜😂 Daija ran me hot!! You caused the way Milan treats you & now you wanna play victim because you got talked out yo draws🙄 Ty is definitely the woman for Milli. She knows how to speak to the king in him. Just when Maverick tries to like somebody they let him know why he don't love these 304s!
What a exciting and climactic conclusion. When Dai came back I wondered who would end up with Molly. The best woman won. The entire series from Book 1 to 3 was so on point and Ms. Pretti did the darn thing right. I believe I read a book in three days. A book a day. I took to bathroom, kitchen table, Dr, office. I could not put down. I really enjoyed and hope whomever reads this series feel the same
Alright, now. You wanna something? This ish was crazy!! How can I talk about this without giving it away.... 🤔 okay, so bam... ish came full circle in ways you wouldn't imagine. For people you wouldn't imagine. This was intense, sad, wild, heartwarming, and gut-wrenching. I enjoyed this so much. Whew, what a dang ride.
I was so happy for Ty and Milan!!!…Daija really irked my nerves!!!…You wanna get rid of another woman because she’s getting what you messed up!!!… Chant got exactly what she deserved and I was glad they finally got their hands on Frost!!!… My heart broke for Maverick because I wanted him to have his HEA too!!!…
I hope we get to see Ty, Milan and the babies again soon and Mav finds his happy ending, Chantra could’ve been honest so many times. Another great read! I loved it!
Yes ma’am those twins ain’t nothing to mess with I wish channy would’ve told maverick everything I know he would’ve helped her but no and daija she has herself to blame for losing her man I don’t feel bad for her great job
This finale was all twist and turns in a good way!! I stayed on the edge of my seat from page 1!!! P. Wise wrote this series so good!! It had just the right amount of everything!!
I’m so glad Frost got what he got. It was well deserved. Channy deserved more than what she got. Mav needs at least a short story where he finds the love of his life and has at least one kid. So happy Milan and Ty got their family and happiness in the end.
This series was good and kept me entertained from book to the finale! Now Maverick need to find love! I absolutely love how the brothers showed up for each other. ❤️ Milan was softer with his heart but he didn’t play games ❤️
A great ending of a well written series. The drama continued and got more traumatic until it came to end. The scheming was coming from different directions. But karma came for all involved.
