At seven years old, he learned what real punishment is.
Darkness. Freezing walls. No food. No way out.

Locked in a metal box until his mind snapped, he was taught one rule by the man who put him
You may grow strong, but never stronger than me.

Years later, he’s the perfect underboss’s heir—ruthless in the streets, obedient at home, a weapon on a chain.
His only soft spots are his sisters… and the quiet girl he’s been promised to since childhood.

She’s the consigliere’s daughter.
A well-mannered ghost at the edge of every room.

Raised to sit still, smile politely, and never talk about the pain clawing through her body each month.
Her father won’t let her take the pills that might help.
Her opinions don’t matter.
Her future was decided before she could spell her own she will marry the heir.

She hates that he never looks at her.
He hates that wanting her gives his father another weapon.

and a savage beating waiting for him afterward for “losing control of his bride.”

That night, they both make a promise.

She swears she’ll never let another man own her pain.
If marriage to him is just another cage, she’ll find a way to run—even if it kills her.

He swears he’ll never be shamed because of her again.

But the more he digs for leverage, the more he sees the
she’s not a spoiled princess—she’s just as trapped as he is.

With family expectations closing in, an arranged marriage becoming inevitable,
and old debts turning bloody, they’ll have to
stay loyal to the parents who broke them… or risk everything to rewrite the fate they were born into.

He is his father’s monster.
She is her family’s pawn.
Together, they might be each other’s only chance at freedom…
even if it means bleeding for a love neither of them was ever meant to survive.

Bleeding Grace is a steamy dark mafia romance in dual POV, featuring a brutally conditioned heir on a leash, a “good girl” heroine who’s done suffering in silence, chronic pain, childhood trauma, an arranged engagement, and an obsessive, morally gray hero who will burn his own bloodline before he lets anyone else decide his bride’s fate.

Kai and Daisha's story was my favorite of the series. They each had so many struggles to overcome and had to do it thrown together in marriage. Kai especially has been hiding so many secrets from everyone that it is almost hard to believe he was able to keep it all in. With his absolutely horrible father and his love for his sisters (although Josephine and he clash constantly - but why does he still defend her???), Kai has all of the emotions going on. And Daisha grew up in a strict household where she wasn't allowed to talk much and forced to be a quiet, reserved woman without any opinions of her own. The growth they both show and the fight they have to be together, as well as succeed on their own, is a great story.

This book though had the most proofreading issues of any so far. There were a couple of times where entire sections are repeated in different spots - as if the section had been written and then moved, but not removed from the previous spot. And one section just ends abruptly without actually having an ending. However - if you can get past these issues, the story is very good and I was fighting for Kai and Daisha the entire time.
