You Can’t Pour from an Empty Cup
By Reed Rowell

Reed Rowell’s life was not headed toward redemption.

Addiction. Incarceration. Broken trust. Regret. He had written a story he didn’t know how to escape. But somewhere between a prison cell and surrender, something began to shift.

Overflow is not a book about having it all together.
It’s about finding hope when everything seems broken.

Written with honesty and humility, Reed shares his journey through the wreckage of poor choices into a life rebuilt by grace. This isn’t a polished success story — it’s a raw testimony of what God can do with a willing heart.

If you’ve ever wondered whether you’ve gone too far…
fallen too deeply…
or stayed in the dark too long…

This story will remind you of one essential

No past is beyond redemption.

About the AuthorReed Rowell is a husband, father, and business owner living in Texas. After walking through addiction, incarceration, and restoration, he now lives grateful for grace and hopeful for anyone still searching for a way forward.

Reed’s story is grace and mercy-filled encouragement for everyone who lives in the chaos and disappointment of addiction, whether it’s about self or loved ones.
What spoke to me most was the power of prayer. As parents, grandparents, church or community members, we are all called to Overflow in a way that models compassion and hope. We love people and hate the sin. All of us are the hands and feet instruments of God’s work. Miracles happen daily. There are miracles in Reed’s journey. Don’t give up. God is not giving up on you. 🙏🏼
