She was supposed to turn me down.

Instead, she saved my grandfather’s life…
and walked straight into the one trap I didn’t mean to set.

Daisy Fontaine is sunshine, soil, and stubborn silence.
A florist with no money, no time, and a voice that makes my blood burn.
I offered her a contract marriage to make my dying grandfather happy.

She gave me a year.
I gave her a flower shop.
And now I can’t stop touching my wife.

She doesn’t know I’ve been watching her for years.
She doesn’t know about the box in my drawer.
She doesn’t know she’s been mine since a worn-out botany textbook and a pressed myrtle bloom.

This was never just a contract.

Now she’s in my house.
In my bed.
And when she finally runs—I do the one thing I swore I’d never do.

I chase.

Read on for obsessive billionaires, Christmas weddings, fake marriage gone feral, and a surgeon who’ll burn his hospital to the ground for the girl who loves plants more than people. HEA Guaranteed!

As much as I loved Daisy and Liam, there were lots of moments where I wanted to DNF the book. From the beginning, they both were so darn childish. Why couldn't they speak to each other like adults? Liam was a complete jerk and Daisy had no spine! I was so fed up with them both truth be told. By the middle of the book, with the Chloe drama, I was so close to calling it quits. I pushed through and did end up loving how they worked out. Im still annoyed that these two adults couldn't have one decent honest conversation until the end. Still, this author is quickly becoming my favorite with how she writes her characters. Yes even with how annoyed I am I love Liam and Daisy

another dumpster fire

All of these books are the same tired drivel! It’s so dumb. I keep hoping for better and it’s just as bad as the ones before it.

The MFC annoyed me from the start, but I hoped she’d get less annoying as we went along. She did not. The MFC saw the ex kiss the MMC, she acknowledged that he wasn’t participating, and then still blew up at him. That’s as far as I got. Definitely DNF!

And it’s not just this one. They all seem to be carbon copies of the same stupidity. I don’t think I’ll be giving any of them another chance. I’ve finally learned my lesson.

The Santa Matchmaker

This was a Beautiful story of 2 people in love with each other, but was to uptight to admit it to each other until the grandfather step up and setup a blind date.
