'Tis the Dang Season: A Christmas Small Town Romance
Can a Pop Superstar find forever with the Small Town Guy next door?
Maybe I worked a little too hard. Maybe I pushed myself past a few too many limits. Okay, so passing out in front of seventy thousand people on the last night of my sold out tour was definitely not on the schedule.
Hey, at least I waited until the lights went out.
Unfortunately, it scared my manager enough to send out an SOS to my parents and they hauled me back to Haven—my smallest of small towns—for some much needed R&R.
However, all was not quiet at my parents' farmhouse. A Christmas village was literally being built in my back yard. Please picture Santa's workshop then add in Tate Reynolds—the boy next door—creating a winter wonderland out of the ruins of his family farm.
I'm talking fantastical light shows, gift shops, heck, even hot cocoa stations with an adorable Rudolph out front!
Did I mention Tate was 6'4, ridiculously attractive, and one of my only regrets? Ever hear of the road not traveled? Yep, that’s him.
Oh, and he's single-handedly bringing the businesses of Haven back to life because he won the freaking lottery.
How the heck am I supposed to resist this man?

Awesome Christmas feels. Amber is on the brink of a breakdown after so many shows. She’s whisked home by mom and dad - so absolutely no argument to be had.
What a surprise to find the boy next door has grown to an even more enticing man who is a hero in her hometown.
Tate is bowled over by Amber but loves every minute.
These two are hearts and flowers together. They are going to be there for each other and overcome all, together.

Ambrose/Amber is a world famous pop singer doing her last show of the tour. She is exhausted and ends up passing out on stage. When she wakes up her parents are there and insists she come back to her home town to recover.
Tate is a local farm boy who left town but comes back to help his town get back on their feet after winning millions on the lottery. Included buying his parents farm back from the bank.
Ambrose and Tate shared a moment years ago and haven't forgotten it. While doing the town Halloween maze that Tate has set up on his farm for the town he bumps into Ambrose but she is using her real name now Amber.
They talk and flirt and start spending lots of time together. She starts to relax and he realizes she like him for him and not all of the money but she has her own.
While setting up the farm for the Haven Winter Wondeland that is costing a small fortune things go bad but gets thru it with Amber's help but an issue is Valerie. She works for Tate and only wants him because his looks and his money. She causes a lot of problems. Most calls Ambrose's fan club and tells them where she is. They wreck a bunch of the stalls and decoration trying to get to her. Amber and her friend James have to be saved.
Tate is more worried about her then the damage but she feels guilty about everything that happens.
She wants and does make it up to him by doing a concert to raise money. They finally say those wonderful words to each other. Thank you for the wonderful HEA

3* given a bump because it got me out of my reading slump
Cute fast paced read and a pop star h who goes back to her hometown after falling ill at the end of her massive tour. She meets the hometown guy who surprisingly won the lottery and has been using his newfound wealth to revive the businesses in their hometown.
This wasn't complicated, just what I needed to pull me out of my book slump. Only issue was some pushing away by the h..... like gurlllllllllllll get it together 😂 otherwise a good read.

Great Christmas fun and romance!
This one was knocked out of the park. Tate and Amber are just right for a great Christmas romance. She a rich and famous rockstar and he’s the hunk next door in her hometown. The steam and the tension roll off them like Christmas cocoa. Love the storyline, it was so tightly written it felt personal. Don’t miss this one!!!

Amber collapsed on stage right after the end of her last concert, so now her parents have intervened and brought her home to Haven to rest for the holidays. She thought she'd come home, relax and have some of her mom's cooking. Little did she know that Haven's sweet boy Tate has grown into a gorgeous man, and he's just waiting next door for her. Can hometown boy and America's pop princess make a match this holiday season?
Tate is the most swoony, adorable millionaire, ever. Not only is he all about Amber from the first time he sees her again, he doesn't let her push him away, is there for her in every way. He won all those millions in the lottery and instead of running away to the city or spending it on random stuff, he used it to better his community, to give back. Now that is the very best kind of hero. I fell in love with him the way he did with Amber, and the way she did with him (even if she didn't want to admit it). There are cameos by some of my favorite Taryn characters (Three Brothers Orchard! Rockstars!), the small town charm is in serious effect, and Tate and Amber just made my holiday reading a whole lot hotter and sweeter.

Tis the Dang Season is the perfect holiday small town romance! Amber Dalton aka Ambrose is a world famous pop star. She's also a young woman who is burnt out. After her last tour, she heads home to Haven, NY to decompress and spend time with her parents. There have been some changes to her small town that she's been too busy touring to notice. The biggest one is the boy next door that she always had a crush on is grown up and has won the lottery! It's not his money that impresses her but what he's doing with it. Tate Reynolds loves his home town. He knows what it's like to struggle and his goal is to help out those that need it and he's starting in the town that he loves so much. He's creating a Winter Wonderland among many things on his property and since he lives next door to Amber, she can't help but being curious about what's going on over at the Reynolds property. Can this home town man and a pop princess make it work for the long run? Tis the Dang Season is really sweet but it also has plenty of heat. It was told from dual POV and is light on angst and has loads of laughter and love. Fans of Taryn Quinn shouldn't miss this!

Love, Love, LOVE this one! Amber/Ambrose is a pop star who is on her the final show of her tour and ready to drop when she mixes things up because she is ready to drop but her changes holds off her drop until the lights go down. With the lights coming up she finds herself with an IV and her parents ready to cart her back home to the farm. She does not put up any fight and off the the hometown she goes. Tate is their neighbor who's family lost their farm due to the economy but then Tate won the lottery, literally millions, and is bringing life back to the hometown and bought back the family farm and turning it into a destination. Amber's first weekend home is Halloween and she goes in disguise but Tate recognises her and a kiss in the maze starts it all. This is one great story bringing two great characters together. Amber who just wants to be Amber and not Ambrose all the time and Tate who is so darned hot and would give her the world if he could. Uber fans and jealous coworkers who try to destroy what was built but could they really destroy what they found together.

Tate was the boy next door her entire life. The one that recently won over six hundred million dollars in the lottery. He’s determined to give back to his small town making sure no one else loses their home or business. Then he begins creating the most incredible Holiday Winter Wonderland on his property that will give the town and many vendors an entertaining and enjoyable holiday.
While Amber gets her strength back Tate works on his project and the two soon become more than just friendly neighbors. But, there is someone that isn’t happy about Tate’s growing interest in another woman. Will jealousy push a woman to do the unthinkable?

Small town romance? Check. Second chance love? Check. Boy/girl next store? Check...you see where I'm going with this. 'TIS THE DANG SEASON by Taryn Quinn checked ALL of my boxes, and then some, and I am here for it.
There's so much to love about this book. Tate and Amber for sure, with their white-hot chemistry and their genuine liking for each other. But leave it to Taryn Quinn to marry the charm of a small town at Christmas, a local girl gone famous, a local boy that has literally won the lottery, and some of the most beloved of their rock star characters from books past. This could not possibly be a more perfect read.
I say this about all of the TQ books, because I adore all of them, but this one, book friends, is a must-read. Like top of the TBR, automatic download, go grab your copy now because, duh, 'tis the dang season, after all. Enjoy. ❤️

Amber is a burnt out world famous popstar that has gone home to her hometown Haven to finally rest and just be Amber, not Ambrose who the public knows. Kinda funny as she hooks up with "The Boy Next Door" Tate. Someone she has known most of her life. Tate could care less about her fame or money because he actually won the lottery last year and has been using the money to help out his town. Amber is happy she finally found someone who is not using her for her fame or money and can just be herself.
Awesome romance story that will get you in the holiday spirit! Thank you for bringing us back to a lot of our favorite characters from The Three Brother's Orchard and even an appearance from James from Brooklyn Dawn!!!!!!

Amber and Tate are just the cutest love story, and there are some super cool side characters - how amazing is Ramsey?- who need their turn in the spotlight too, pretty please.
I loved everything about this small town, and really hope we get to come back to Haven again soon! Happy holidays!

Light, fun and steamy holiday story (Hallowe’en & Christmas) about hometown boy Tate who won the lottery and is following his dream of redeveloping the failed family farm into a charming attraction to draw people into town to support local artists and community businesses. Heroine Amber is a physically and emotionally exhausted popstar who seriously needs a break from her busy schedule to regroup. The two of them almost connected in high school and are pursuing their attraction in this story, giving her a chance to rethink her life and her priorities. The story is set in small town Haven (I really, really want to visit) and I was delighted to see cameos from favourite places and people from other Taryn Quinn series. I would love read more in this series.

Amber and Tate are such a wonderful story. Amber who is known by most as the famous pop star Ambrose is burnt out and needs a rest after her last tour. She comes home to Haven, NY to recharge. Tate won a very large lottery and has been building up his hometown of Haven instead of moving away. The chemistry and instant lust between these two is hot and will definitely keep you reading. Will Amber let Tate in and figure out a different way to manage her growing career? Will Tate be able to handle her travel and the constant issues with her fans? Loved this story and cameos from past characters. A must read that shows joy and happiness with some hot fun thrown in at the holidays.

This is a sweet, spicy, small town read that is perfect for the holidays! I really loved Tate and Amber. He's a man with a large heart, and after winning the lotto, is helping his community and creating opportunity for others. Amber is home for a much needed break after her latest tour as a pop star. They have a connection, a strong pull and I enjoyed how their bond grew as the pages turned. I was pulled right in and loved every moment. Getting little visists from others from previous books in this large world is always fun as well! Sit back, get comfy and enjoy!

This book was so good. the hallmark-yest of holiday hallmark stories but with lots of spice. Amber, a famous pop star, comes home to rest for the holidays after a rough last show of her tour. She runs into her high school crush, Tate, small town hero, who saved the town and his family ranch when he won the lottery. Amber wants to keep a low profile and try to spend some alone time with Tate, but some people in town have other plans.
That Amber was making bold moves with Tate from the beginning. I loved it! Tate, though, he was a Gentleman is the streets, and a MAN in the sheets. So all in all, If you love Hallmark movies, but you need some spice icing & sprinkles..this is for you.

Gosh...what do you get when a local boy trying to get by wins the lottery...and a hometown girl who has made it BIG in the music business but is pushing herself too hard end up in their home town? A wonderful story!
I loved everything about this book. It is a wonderful story of what people can do for each other and for others after having their dreams realized. There are a few people who don't like what they have and try to sabotage our wonderful couple, but that will happen no matter what.
Well written and a true Christmas story.

I read this in one day because I couldn’t put it down. I wish I could find a cute small town with a Christmas village that I could visit just like this one. I was sad when I got to the epilogue because I just wanted this book to keep going so I could experience this story for just a little bit longer. I can’t wait for my next Taryn Quinn read!

Loved Tate and Amber! This was such a good book. I read it in one sitting. I loved that Tate used his lottery winnings to help out their town. Amber is taking a much needed break from touring and is back with her parents for the holidays. She finds out what her old neighbor is up to when they “run” into each other. She admires him and there is an attraction from when they were younger that is waiting to catch fire. Loved these two and the sparks between them. They were exactly what each other needed and I loved watching their relationship blossom into forever.

Ambrose (or Amber as her hometown calls her) has just her tour and collapsed. Her parents quickly whisked her back home to upstate New York to recover and recharge during the holiday season (starting with Halloween). She quickly runs into Tate (a high school friend). Things immediately heat up and you get to see friends to lovers all while Tate is building a beautiful Holiday Market to help his hometown. Of course, things don't go so smoothly when rabid fans get wind of where she is. A fun holiday read!

Story was very sweet and a little spicy. Time spans from just before Halloween to just after Thanksgiving. Felt slower paced than I would personally prefer, but that might also have been the chaos of my house at the time I was reading it. Tate is the epitome of a good guy—helping save his town. Amber is taking a much-needed break from work and Tate is the guy next door. I expected her to give more pushback than she did, but was pleased she didn’t. I do wish there was more of the relationship with his father resolved and a little more of the end of Valerie.

Amber is Ambrose a rich pop star who grew up with Tate. Tate won the lottery a year ago and is helping his hometown of Haven with his winnings. When Amber comes home for the holidays they connect and it’s beautiful. But will her fans destroy what they’re building. I loved this story. It’s a well written fast paced steamy and sweet read. Tate and Amber are so perfect together. It’s a once started can’t stop read. Beautiful happy ending too.

Loved it! Popstar Amber/Ambrose collapsed on stage at the end of her last concert. She is home to recuperate for a few months - not intending to stay. Tate won the lottery & has big plans to help out his community. As they reconnect and grow closer their love grows. There's some crazy moments as they deal with out of control fans and the media. They find a way to make it work - loved all the cameos from other books!
