ACCIDENTAL MILE HIGH VOWS is a scorching standalone, age gap romance that is guaranteed to make you fall for the ruthless Bratva boss. No cheating, no cliffhangers, ultra-hot HEA guaranteed!
Quickie Review: From start to finish I was addicted to this story. I loved the insta romance even though the actual relationship was anything but. There was some parts that felt like fillers, just to make the book longer than necessary, but overall it was a great read. And for once the ending felt more realistic than any other mafia/bratva story I have read in quite sometime. I look forward to more from this author. 5 Stars.

She never drinks because she has a rare neurological condition that makes alcohol do weird things to her memory, which she found out in college when she woke up in the ER. The disease causes her to have memory gaps. It's like she can't drink it's what happens after the drink. She feels free and uninhibited during the drink and happy. She caught them in the bedroom of her dead mother's house with her boyfriend's face in her ass. He was eating out her ass something that he has never done for her even when she asked him to. She threw them both out of her house. She needed to numb the pain so she decided to go to Murphy's Tavern across town where she wouldn't run into anyone she knew. She remembered that she would be leaving soon. The job offer from Kryla Holdings in New York, a fresh start which triple her past salary. She now know why Mason was pushing her to take the offer because of him of Lizzy on going affair he wanted her gone. It was corporate trivia night at Murphy's and the winner wins a first class ticket to anywhere in the continental, plus twenty-five hundred dollars cash which got her attention. Savannah meets forty-seven year old billionaire Bratva mafia boss Ledger Volkov and owner of Volkov Industries on the plane to Vegas after winning the tickets. Ledger is a handsome, deadly, tattoed blue-eyed ruthless man. They had a seat mixed up but it was sorted out the two spent two hours talking with her sharing everything about herself until she fell asleep. But when she awake they were in Las Vegas and he left without waking her or leaving a note. The next night fate brought them together again when they ran into each other at the Bellagio hotel & casino. She was mad at him but he apologized and he decided to take her to the casino to play blackjack so that she could get the true experience of Vegas. He played and they drank and drank until they're drunk and decided to get married at one of the many chapels after seeing a couple coming out. But Ledger wanted her to get married in a gown instead of a party dress with a ring and had his second in command go get her a dress. They got married by an Elvis minister then went back to his hotel and had a mind-blowing passion-filled night together but she left in the morning leaving her ring on her her marriage license behind. And for weeks Ledger had some of his best men tore up all of Chicago and social media searching for her. His son Alexei could not believe that he had marry some random woman given how he does background check on everyone. Ledger spent days working on his legitimate business hotel acquisitions, real estates tech company investmentsand other businesses. He as built an empire that looks clean on the surface, but underneath is the Bratva. The network of criminals, dealers, and enforcers, who keep the machine running. Days bleeds into each other all the same routine. He handles both side of the business and comes home to an empty penthouse and wondered where his wife is sleeping. Savannah was his and he doesn't let go have anything that's his. Then after weeks of searching he was in a meeting when he got the call they have found her and she was right under their nose the whole time working at his company Kryla Holdings. When the two came face-to-face they're were some sparks of familiarity about him but she couldn't remember. She was even more shocked to find out that she was married to her boss. She told him that she would need some time to process things and Ledger told don't think about running again because he will find her because she's his wife. Ledger will do anything to make his wife remember him even force her to face her pain and hurt by bringing her back to Chicago the place where she lost her mother and her ex-boyfriend and ex-best friend betray her. Ledger finally got his wife to remember and fall in love with him. And although he doesn't want to force her to live in a world that she's not use to he doesn't want to let her go. But he quickly realized that she was smart and the other half that he was waiting for all these years. She compliments him in and out of the bedroom. She was his queen and help him see things about his acquisitions that he never saw. But they new found romance doesn't come with it's danger because of life as a Bratva boss. He as Dmitri lurking in the shadows waiting to destroy everything that he as because of him killing his brother Viktor five years ago, plus her cheating ex is stalking her. But Ledger will burn down the world for what is his. A swoon-worthy story that I definitely recommend and demands to be read.

This entry into the Forbidden Silver Foxes universe is a bit all over the place and not in a good way in my opinion. The beginning of the romantic relationship is off. Our MMC is on a commercial flight because his private jet is in the shop. Huh? After talking for the duration of the flight - amazingly making enough of a love connection that the next bit of tomfoolery is supposed to make sense. They bump into each other at a casino, have drinks, gamble, have dinner and then decide to get married. I’d buy this idiocy perhaps if ordinary people were involved…but this is supposed to be a powerful, seasoned, Bratva boss. And while our FMC struggles at times (though not very hard, truth be told) with the reality and extent of the criminal activities of her husband, she takes to the life like a duck to water. Love is indeed a powerful thing evidently. It’s so powerful that even murder doesn’t cause this 25 year old naive but up until now very good girl too much stress.
I could go on with examples of what made me give this 3 stars but here’s why it earned more than 2 stars. It was absolutely fun to read how our hero literally burned his way through Vegas to get his kidnapped, 8 month pregnant wife back. And, helping earn those 3 stars was the part where he made a plea deal (a very, very, very generous one!) with the feds as a result. Most stories of this genre omit any real consequences for such over-the-top behavior so even having a smidge of paying the piper was enough to bump up my rating. I skipped over some of the repetitive angsty inner dialogue parts of the main characters so be aware you won’t escape from those annoying bits.
Another reason this story earned 3 stars instead of 2 was the good grammar and spelling! Often I am annoyed at the lack of proofreading or editing. Not here - can’t recall any of those sorts of issues so, well done.
In summary, it was an okay but forgettable read. It had its fun moments. Smut-lite. Love those pregnancy hormones! Trigger warnings include cheating by a soon-to-ex and kidnapping with mild graphic descriptions of her discomfort but no on page torture.
Wow! Just wow! Whatever I say about this book won’t give it justice! It was a truly amazing story, with an engaging, fast-paced, well-developed plot and two MCs to die for (especially Ledger; oh my God!). Savannah, goes to a bar basically to get drunk and forget the betrayal of her boyfriend and her best friend. She ends up winning a competition and she gets a free ticket to Vegas. On a whim, two hours later, she boards on a plane there. Her fellow co-passenger is none other than Ledger. Older, hot and easy to talk too. So, she pours her heart out. They have an instant connection. But, when they land, he is not there. She is disappointed, but sets off to explore Vegas. And guess what…she bumps into Ledger again. A drunken Vegas marriage later, followed by a passionate night, and she flees with no recollection of what they have done. He remembers though and there is nothing on this planet that he wouldn’t do to find her. Fate interferes again and a rollercoaster of events begin. Ledger is more than a successful, rich businessman and has a dangerous secret. Will Savannah accept it? And when danger knocks on their door, is anything Ledger won’t do to protect her? Both Ledger and Savannah are strong and determined, but what I loved the most was how much confident, down-to-earth and willing to sacrifice everything for her Ledger is. I swooned repeatedly and unapologetically. I also loved the fact that HEA doesn’t come without real sacrifice. This was quite different from what I am used to in Mafia romances. Last but not least, I can’t finish without stating that I LOVED Ledger’s son Alexi so much! 5 stars, only because I can’t give it a hundred!

I just finished this book, and honestly… it’s a mix of highs and lows. The first 30 chapters had me completely hooked—I literally read 20 chapters in one sitting when I first discovered it. The plot was engaging, the tension was real, and I was fully invested in the characters. If you’re looking for a Mafia romance that keeps you turning pages, the start of this book delivers.
But then, the ending… yikes. The last chapters felt rushed, and the story lost its logic. The Mafia boss, who’s supposed to be powerful and untouchable, ends up in jail for two years. Excuse me? That just doesn’t make sense. In most Mafia stories, the boss is too smart, too connected to just serve time—usually it’s the side characters who take the fall. And the whole climax—wife kidnapped, rescued, boss jailed—happened so quickly that it didn’t feel believable or satisfying. Honestly, the epilogue felt unnecessary, too, and I could have done without that extra chapter. In short: it started strong but falls flat at the end. If the last 10 chapters had kept the same tension and clever plotting as the first 30, this could have been an absolute five-star read. As it stands, it’s frustrating—great buildup, disappointing payoff.
Accidental Mile High Vows is an entertaining Bratva romance that follows its MFC Samantha through the worst day possible up until she wins a plane ticket and cash. Vegas it is to wipe away the memory of her best friend and now ex boyfriend in bed together. On the plane she meets silver fox MMC Ledger and he keeps her company with good conversation until she falls asleep, and then finds him gone after the plane lands. They meet unexpectedly again in a Vegas club and between the drinks, and chemistry decide a Vegas wedding is in order. I so enjoyed this awesome read that gets even more interesting when Samantha disappears on Ledger the next morning, and his hunt begins! Great writing, twists, passion, romance, danger, intrigue, surprise pregnancy, and wonderfully crafted characters kept the pace brisk and the suspense on point. A perfect Bratva read!.

This book starts out with Savannah walking in on her boyfriend and her best friend in bed together. So she decides to go out to a bar even though alcohol makes her lose her memory. At the bar she signs up to play trivia where she wins a plane ticket to anywhere and some money. So she decides to go to Vegas. When she boards the plane she meets a handsome older man sitting in her seat. After arriving Vegas she runs into him again so they go play for a while and after a few drinks they end up having Elvis marry them. But when she wakes up the next morning she doesn't remember anything. So she panics and flies home. Three weeks later after searching everywhere in Vegas and Chicago he finds her working in New York at his own company. So now he has to help her remember Vegas and agree to stay with him even after finding out he is a Mafia Don. Great story and characters. I didn't want it to end.

This was a surprisingly good - really good read. The connection between Ledger and Savannah is electric and more than just physical.
The storyline had me glued to my kindle wanting to know what happened next. I was surprised at how quickly Ledger fell for Savannah and how completely focused he was on finding her and winning her over. The mix of business, romance and the danger from Ledger’s rival Bratva family kept the storyline interesting and fun.
I loved the main characters and several of the secondary characters. The happily ever after has a surprising twist that typically isn’t depicted in this type of romance and I loved the dash of reality and that there was a cost to Ledger’s actions.
I’ve read a few other books by Liz, but this is by far my favorite book by her. I’m definitely going to check out her books in the future.

Accidental Mile High Vows by Liz Archer is a wildly fun and steamy Bratva romance that had me hooked from takeoff to the final page! Samantha’s accidental Vegas wedding to the irresistible silver-fox Bratva boss, Ledger Volkov, makes for a thrilling start to their unconventional love story. The chemistry is scorching, the twists and intrigue keep the pace brisk, and the age-gap dynamic adds delicious tension.
Despite a few slower moments, the emotional payoff and satisfying, realistic HEA — complete with a surprise pregnancy — make this a standout mafia romance. If you love intense passion, danger, and heartfelt connections, this one is a must-read!
I have never heard of a condition that causes memory loss from drinking but I do have a lot an acquaintance’s who black out from liquor after partying for a weekend. Finding your BF and BFF hooking up in the act was the impetus to Take a shot.
Tipsy when she meets him on a plane going to Vegas, they hook up, marry and she leaves running back to Chicago to take a job in NYC. They eventually get back in each others radar as he is Bratva and it is a rude awakening. The ex is stalking her and her husband is protecting her. Enemies lurk and love and passion takes them to the next level. Consequences and happiness.
A rollercoaster of a read, this book has humour, lots of drama, action, steam and angst. The book starts of with a bit of a revenge fantasy, when betrayal turns into opportunity and the trip of a lifetime. The characters are endearing, with Ledger fighting continually for his wife and family even if Savannah makes a few naive mistakes. I also enjoyed the relationship between his son Alexi and both Ledger and Savannah.

This is the story of Ledger and Savannah. It’s an age gap romance and one that I found very pleasing. There was something very sweet and loving about this story despite the fact that Ledger was mafia and did many dirty deeds.
The couple met in Las Vegas and got married in an Elvis chapel wedding which Savannah later Fled. Ledger sent out the full force of his Bratva to find her, and he did. This was a well written story and my first by this author. I will definitely read another book by her.
One cheating Ex, one free ticket to Vegas and getting completely off of your face drunk does not lead to the best decisions for Savannah (FMC). The major one being marrying a stranger -Ledger, that you know absolutely nothing about. Oh and add to that you can't remember any of that. This was a twistingly brilliant read when they both realise who each other are. More so with who Ledger is and how that affects Savannah. Still I loved the dynamic Ledger and Savannah had together. Ledger was definitely a hot silver fox and I loved his son Alexi too. A great read.
This story grabs you and doesn't let go with its action-packed drama, dangerous twists and turns that had me connecting with the characters and cheering them on to getting their second chance for happiness. Savannah is devastated after finding her fiancé with her best friend and after going to a bar she wins a contest that will change her life forever.

It's IMPERATIVE that you read this PHENOMENAL romance book about Ledger and Savannah. HOLY HOTNESS this book is such a FANTASTIC 10 star read. So, when you are ready to read a spicy romance book with chemistry and some awesome sex scenes. OMG let me just say that this mile high romance book makes me feel all tingly just looking at the cover but wait until you start to read this book and your body is going to shake with excitement. :).
This was an entertaining read and romance for Savannah and Ledger. Savannah Met Ledger on a plane ride to Las Vegas. He was just the stranger that she needed to vent about how chaotic her life had become. A quicky marriage later, Savannah and Ledger have to overcome lost memories and dangerous enemies. There is a villain, kidnappings, and mafia drama. There is a happy ending. Read On!
Ledger and Savannah, a match made in a chapel in Vegas with an Elvis impersonator, what could go wrong? The characters are fascinating with hidden depths that the reader gets to uncover as the storyline progresses. There is the usual violence, a kidnapping, a manic ex boyfriend and a delightful person in Alexi. An excellent book, once again from Liz Archer. Thank you
This was such a good read! I loved Savannah and Ledger! They are perfect for each other. The dilemmas they both had worked perfectly. Liz is becoming one of my favorite authors. The story wasn't drawn out or too short - just right.

Great cover! Savannah takes off to a Vegas after finding her POS boyfriend cheating on her. She meets a sexy man on the plane. They hit it off but she doesn’t see when when they land. Ledger is so dang sexy. He is the Bratva boss. They meet back up and she is so drunk. They get married and have a one night stand. She takes off the next morning and finds out later he is her new boss. Great book!
I enjoyed this story about what happens when Ledger and Savannah meet on a plane to Vegas and of course get married after a night of partying. But of course there is a twist and leads to crazy situation and scenes that had me laughing. Then add the fact that Ledger is Bratva and get trouble and drama. I laughed and groaned and was entertained throughout it all.
Certainly has plenty of Spicy times and action. I enjoyed the characters and how they interact. Ledger certainly has the Bratva- burn 🔥 down the world if You touch her vibe. The action was good in it too, very detailed.

Wow, this is a very different kind of Bratva story and I really enjoyed it. Ledger was so much more human than other MC’s in these type books. Savannah wasn’t too bright after finding out what she was now involved in, that part made it predictable. Well written with wonderful characters and good steam.
From the first page the story drags you in and doesn't let go. The legitimate business grows. Savannah and Ledger meet on a flight to Las Vegas. The start of their story begins there. Strong characters that win you over despite the illegal endeavors. There is honor in how family and staff is taken care of.
This is a great book. The world building is really well done. I loved getting the characters. Watching the MCs come together was amazing. I love the banter and realism that the author incorporates into their story. The passion and intensity is amazing. I loved watching the FMC grow and change. Great story!
I tend to stay away from Bratva books because the stories are all the same. This one however felt different when I read the synopsis so I thought I would give it a chance. I’m so glad I did! I liked how the story flowed, the character development and the chemistry between the characters. This was a good read and highly recommend it.
first 1/4 was good, but the rest when down hill after. there were some happy happy fun times that were good, but her legit meeting w/Mason was juts plain ass stupid. could achieved the conflict so much easier than having her be legit stupid & meeting him just for her to be taken to the bad guy.
From discovering her ex cheating, marrying in Vegas, to finding she's pregnant and that the father is a bratva boss? Savannah has a bit of a journey in this sizzling read with her new husband Ledger. Age gap (OMYW), mile high romance, and bratva dramas abound in this darker read. Loved it.
