Robbie Terman began her journey as a writer in third grade, when she completed her first (24-page) "novel." Many years later, she is published in contemporary romance. Her heroines are feisty, her heroes Hot (yup, that's with a capital H!). And, when you read her books, if you tear up a little and laugh a lot, that's just the reaction she was hoping for.
Robbie lives in Michigan and spend s her time wishing she lived somewhere warmer. When she's not writing, Robbie can often be found shopping for shoes and handbags. She's also a wannabe foodie, who's always looking for a new restaurant to try or a recipe she'll inevitably screw up.
My friend Robbie is a published romance author! I have to check this out.
Okay, the 2 rating has nothing to do with the writing, it just has to do with my enjoyment (or lack thereof) of the genre. The book is funny (just like Robbie). I think the sex scenes were well done--not too many silly euphemisms. But what frustrates me about romantic comedy movies, also apparently frustrates me about romance novels--just get together already. Oh, and our heroine cries too much.
This was my first romance novel. My friend, Robby, wrote the book. It was pretty entertaining and a quick read. The story was silly but the sex scenes were pretty hot. Not sure how many romance novels I will be reading but this was a fun way back into reading following the bar.
