What can I say. If you have Tinnitus you know how annoying it can be and is 24/7. Kevin Hogan's book/CDs provides the reader/listener with a great amount of information regarding the disease, why may cause it, what may cure it and the multitude of remedies available. Some work well, some good, some not so go. He also has several CDs with guided meditation instructions and they are very good.

In the end, no one really sure what causes Tinnitus but they all agree that the one method that works best is to create a process to trick the brain in believing that the ringing/buzzing you hear is not really there. That is no easy thing to do. As a result of his book/CDs I am making life choices hoping that I can find a relief from the buzzing I constantly hear.

For the record, I am to receive a pair of hearing devices on 1/11/18 that are designed to combat the Tinnitus but have been told there is no guarantee they will work or how it might take to realize a relief. I was also provided with a sound pillow that plays music or sounds of nature through the pillow that only you can hear to help you sleep better.

Who should read this book? Anyone experiencing Tinnitus or know of someone who has it so they can better understand the agony the person with Tinnitus is experiencing.

Hogan promotes meds (anti anxiety, depression) in order to 'retrain' the brain. He suggests a success rate of 60-70% He also advocates hypnotherapy though notes there are few practitioners available.
