This book was a relief to read. Instead of blaming us (like I usually do for not being able to be perfect at managing everything), it takes a load off and clearly explains that distraction is a natural response to systems designed to steal attention. I could really relate, especially juggling family life alongside several businesses and constant ding-ding-ding of the phone. The neuroscience is explained simply, and the advice focuses on small, realistic changes rather than unrealistic "digital detoxes" - (I tried, the effects don't last). The book's guidance is practical, calm, and helpful if you’re trying to stay present and focused in a very demanding world where it seems impossible to switch off.
