I am Giuseppe Raineri, alias Joseph R. Raineri. I am the author of the horror novel La Villa, first published on 15 January 2024. I have now completed the English version, a revised and expanded edition released on 8 December 2025. The creation of my books is not just writing, but an unimaginable inner journey, among infinite realities, difficulties and fears—immersing myself in the most remote depths of the unknown—in the darkest abysses, where you would never believe that dreams can still be born. My writing is based on cosmic and supernatural horror: dark fantasy with strong psychological undertones. My narrative sings ancient, primordial, archaic melodies, which drag readers into a vortex where time deforms and the narrative around them becomes reality.

This was a short, spooky read that’s packed with action and guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat!

What was supposed to be the start of a new job for Michael and a vacation for Paul turns into a nightmare. A literal one. Their friends are dying left and right, they are being pursued by a monster and it seems like there’s no way out or an end in sight. Can they survive?

Read this when you’re in the mood for a horror novella that will hooks its claws into you and keep you reading!
