When impropriety calls, Dick Stone rises to greet it.

Edward Richard Stone — marquess's disgraced son, war veteran, and the only stud-for-hire who can't keep track of his own urchin assistant — has barely recovered from his last disaster when another calamity lands squarely in his lap.

His former fiancée, now the bewitching and desperately bored Duchess of Chevaliermont, summons him to Grosvenor Square with an offer no respectable man would hear out and no professional rake could possibly refuse. Phily’s gambling debts have mounted; her silver fox husband demands concessions; and she’s more than willing to spread faster than gossip.

What begins as a straightforward stud job devolves into a spectacularly indecent double-filling that tests the limits of Edward’s stamina, patience, and seams. But just when he thinks he’s escaped the Chevaliermont circus with his cods intact, he’s confronted with a choice that may precipitate the fall of Dick Stone.

The Regency Stud Goes Deep is a filthy, fast-burning 10,000-word romp featuring a stud on his last legs, a duchess begging for ruin, a duke eager to land a hand (and more), and household staff quietly scouring all surfaces.

The Duke, the Duchess, and Dick Stone

“The Regency Stud Goes Deep” is book four in Elizabeth Roubaix’s series called Dick Stone, Regency Stud. Dick is depressed. He misses his urchin friend who has remained absent from Dick’s lodgings for weeks. Dick can’t even go to his tiny office behind the barbershop because his friend’s chair has remained empty. In the meantime, Dick was summoned to the home of his former fiancé, currently a duchess. He’s made an offer he couldn’t refuse. This installment of Dick’s doings was far too short and fell shy of being as good as the other installments of his life as a Regency stud. It seemed as though Dick was swallowing his pride when he agreed to keep the duchess busy and out of the gambling hells in the only way he knew how. Dick Stone doesn’t surprise easily, but the duke’s willingness to share his wife and eagerly participate wasn’t what Dick expected. Anyway, Dick does get information about what his closest friend is planning in an effort to become more equal with Dick. I have liked this character since he was introduced. He seemed impervious to deep emotions, but this story showed his worry and concern for the urchin he called his friend, this humanized Dick and softened his stud status. Is change on the horizon? The last installment of Dick Stone Regency Stud is coming out in February which means this clever and highly erotic series is coming to a close. What are we going to do without a regular helping of Dick Stone’s antics to brighten a dismal afternoon? Recommended for lovers of erotic tales with interesting characters and an actual story. For the optimum experience and understanding, I think it is best to read this series from the beginning. However, in a pinch it could be read as a standalone.

"...you're the one friend I've got besides my horse, and I'm not always sure he likes me for me or for the clover I bring him."~Edward🍀

The Regency Stud has returned in this short and raunchy story. Edward is a mess. He's gotten older and the grief and pains from the previous book are weighing him down in this one. Especially since his street urchin friend Tobias/Tabitha disappeared on him. I got confused with the time frame, 6 weeks since T left but a year since what happened to Horatio.🤔 I thought they happened at the same time. Or was that just me having a false memory.😄😄 Despite the title changes to his name in polite ((pfft!!!)) London society, Edward cannot retire from his... ahem, services.🤫

Edward's ex-fiancée Duchess Phily and her arrogant husband, Monty the Duke, are playing a mind game with Edward. They're awful. Trashy. A dirty couple set to remind Edward of his place. I'm not sure why Edward allowed their crudeness: for money, information I guess; I figured he would have given some snarky remarks back.🙍🏻‍♀️ There's a cliffhanger. I don't know why T, who wants to be seen as an equal, is set on doing what she's doing, but here we are.😨 I didn't like the power play of Phily and Monty. I hope they get their karma.☠️☠️☠️

My review is on Edward and Tabitha. Two people looked down upon, seen as unimportant, who formed a genuine friendship out of their loneliness. Their circumstances in life may be garbage but together it's bearable. They supported one another without realizing it. I want to know what happens next with them. Ms Roubaix has me invested. Shout out to Tencendor🐴. Happy reading. *•>§<•*💖💖💖💖

Thanks to Booksprout for a copy of this short story and this is my freely given opinion.

Super smutty Regency erotica with hints of dominance/submission, and MFM scenarios as Dick Stone finds his services demanded for his former fiancee. Their engagement was broken when he discovered the now Duchess of Chevaliermont being plowed by the Duke, at their engagement dinner. Needless to say, the engagement did not last long between Dick and future duchess.

However, he now finds himself engaged to service her - and to his chagrin, he finds that this is not only endorsed by the Duke, but his grace not only wants to participate, but commands Dick and his wife in all scenarios.

Can be read alone as a hot, smutty, graphic bit of historical erotica.... but there is an underlying storyline about Dick and his companion and good friend throughout the series that is very intriguing, and you need to read all the stories to understand that, and the coming finale to the story.

The next story in this series. Edward, known as Dick Stone, has had a really bad time after Tabby goes missing in the other story. He knew her as him before finding out the he was a she. He tries to find her but isn't able too. Edward then receives a note to go to his ex's home -Phily, who he almost married. She is now married to the Duke. Duke Monty agrees to some different ways for her to pay off his debts. Full of steam and drama. Will need to read the next story in this series. Would recommend to some.

As suggested before downloading this book you really need to read the earlier ones in the series. There is further satisfying development of the plotline while as the same time delivering another sexual encounter. This time to satisfy his previous fiancée and her and her husband's desire for some extra kink in their lives.

Dick Stone, now Viscount Netherwallop has lost his friend Tobias/Tabby and he is quite depressed by it. When his former fiancée, now the Duchess of Chevaliermont hires him for his stud services with her husband watching and then joining in, it left a nasty feeling. I didn’t like the Chevaliermonts’ games at Dick’s expense, and I really hope he will get his HEA in the final book.

Edward sure has his tasks marked just for him. His former fiancée, Lady Philadelphia (now Duchess of Chevaliermont), is a bit bored with her current situation. So, she has gone down into the gambling pit. Edward learns of a more pressing matter for him to handle. I enjoyed this historical erotic story.
