2.5 stars train wreck kind of book. Not really liking it, but cannot look away. Still going to continue and see where it leads.

Ugh, it starts out with him getting a hand job from someone who is not the h. And they are together and he has claimed her. It's a mess. He cares for her but thinks it's okay to screw other women because he just needs a release. It's okay because there's no emotion, that what he tells her. Omg! She takes it! And what the hell is going on with the other guy she likes? His girlfriend was killed by Talon, but that's all we have, no answers. This ends on a cliffy so there's another book coming. Honestly he's just a cheat and a hothead. This is not a romance at all. If you like a romantic book with no cheating this is not the book for you. Cheating is just not acceptable, and it seems like he's not sorry and she accepts it. This is not a HEA book by any stretch. I just can't respect anyone in the book. I gave 3 stars for the writing because I know it takes time and determination to write a book and the 3 stars were in appreciation of that.

Awesome book two
Now that Talon is out of prison, he finds himself the target of an arrogant detective, rival gangs and his own club. Talon and Layne are both vying for the position of President for their MC because Talon's prez patch was taken away from him while in jail. We don't know the reason for that. Layne is still a mystery. Enjoying this ~ on to book three.

Pieces Lost is book 2 in the Devil Call MC Series, it starts right where Inside Broken, book 1 leaves you. With so much going on you need to read book one, Pieces Lost should not be read as a stand alone.
Pieces Lost continues with the story of Talon and Everly. This like any other MC I have read. Yes there is a club house, brothers, cuts, but it just has a different feel to it.
Talon is out of prison and the president's patch is still up for grabs. Talon needs to make a point that he is ready to lead again but in doing so he's killed someone without all the information. It doesn't sit right with him. The club views it as a mistake bringing heat to the club. Everly has the insta love, lust for Talon and a desire and trust for Layne (who I seriously need to know more about!)

As Talon and Everly's story evolves and you learn more about them my interest is growing and I think this second book was better than the first because of it.. All of the sudden the characters make more sense to me and I find this book really well written and intriguing so much so I nearly could not put it down.. Well done!
I am also beginning to find Talon's appeal and I actually find him quite sexy even though he his actions sometimes would be more than I would be able to accept..
Can't wait to read the next book in this series!

I actually love this series. After reading book 1 of this series I had to go to book 2. What can I say I am hooked. I can not get enough of Talon, Everly, and Layne. Yeah I am kind of hoping for a threesome to go on there. There is so much division between Talon and Layne since Talon went to prison for killing Layne’s girlfriend which Layne truly loved. But I get the impression that Talon had a good reason. I think deep down Talon and Layne love each other like a brother even though at the moment they are not showing it. I think the author has done an amazing job in painting an image of what a MC would be like. One thing I do know is they are like a brotherhood and you see that in this book.
Devil Call MC is still without a President which is not good. I guess at the moment you can say it has 2 trying to act as president (Layne & Talon) which might be what the club needs at the moment. The Clubhouse has really fallen apart. They guys heads are not in the right place. MC has a purpose which is to protect the town but with drugs in the MC and men running wild with no leadership can they serve a purpose?
Talon and Everly’s relationship is still growing. Talon really needs to gain Everly’s trust and respect. I think deep down Talon really loves her. He is hugely protective over her and when one of his own hurts her, what will Talon do to send a message to his men that Everly is his and NO ONE will touch his girl?
In this book a Detective John that comes into the storyline. Detective John thinks he is a little tougher then he really is. Personally I do not like Detective John, but only because I am rutting for the MC..LOL One thing Detective John knows is the town needs Talon alive and needs the Devil Call MC.
Toward the end of the story something happens that wakes Everly up and help her realize how much he truly feels for Talon. Sorry not going to tell you what it is. You will have to read the book to find out. I can assure you if you love Bike books and a true bad boy you will love this series.

Manda's 3.5 Star Review
After being release from prison Talon returns to his MC to find everything out of control. His main focus should be setting things strait but he cannot help being distracted by Everly. After making his confession to Everly he feels as though he has pushed her strait to Layne. With everything spinning out of control Talon is determined to start setting things right before he loses his club and his girl.
After reading book one I was not a big fan of Talon and I have to say after reading this book he still isn't my favorite character. However, there is so much to this story and so many secrets I could not put it down. I cannot wait to find out what happens next. Ana Fawkes has a fantastic gift with telling a story in such a way that keeps you on the edge and keeps you coming back for more. Her characters are dark and flawed, but you know there is so much more to them than what we have seen so far. I cannot wait for the next book!!

Pieces Lost is book two of the Devil Call MC. Talon and Everly's story continues. Everly is struggling after Talon's confession. Is she running to Layne? Is she strong enough to be be what Talon needs? Is it time for her to leave? The President patch is still in question with Talon and Layne both wanting it. Their internal struggle is killing me. You know deep down there still is a love for one another as brothers. I do hope they can repair their fractured bond. Talon knows what he needs to do for his club, can he accomplish this, and can he do it alone? I had hoped to get answers to some questions I have, especially the story regarding Layne's deceased girlfriend. Bang! Bang! Bang! Who was shot? You are just going to have to read to find out!
I anxiously await the next book. Ana Fawkes sure knows how to write a gripping, action filled story! The characters in this book are so believable I feel like I can reach in and touch them! I give this book a solid four and a half stars! I hope book three comes out soon because I need to know what happens now!!!!!!

Pieces Lost is the follow-up to Inside Out and continues on with the story of Talon, Everly, Layne, and the rest of the Devil Call MC.
To me, this book focuses more on the power struggle between Talon and Layne. Each vying for President’s logo, and each trying to restore order to Devil Call. Two different men with two different methods.
And in the middle of them is their haunted past and Everly. Honestly, this book was one big pissing contest between the two men.
After reading this, I was still left with some lingering questions. Why did Talon kill the girlfriend? Why did Layne hold back from pursuing Everly? Why did Everly stay there? Will Talon’s actions bring down the Devil Call? And whats up with Detective John?
So many questions…..
I cannot wait for the next book in the series to come out because I need answers now.

4 Stars!
This book picked up right where book one left off. I really liked book one. I really did but this book.... was much different. There was a lot going on, a lot to try to sort and try to understand. This book was packed with steam, suspense, and quite a few twists and turns.
This is the continuation of Everly and Talon's story. Talon wants Everly but does he really? He can't seem to be faithful and with the vying spot of presidency, it will take everything both Talon and Everly have to hold together and stay strong in their love. And when more problems arise, will Everly run? Will Talon be able to handle it all?
Talon... oh how I want to strangle the crap out of you from page one. Seriously the man is an idiot at times but so dang sexy. And Everly... girl you need to get a backbone and get your crap in line. But these two do have steam and chemistry.
I recommend this series.

But she also catches one of the club whores coming out of Talons room, where he was taking a shower, did he cheat in their early relationship? Well what does a hand job called. Talon is starting to feel regret for the recent killing he did, he's pissed off that his club is in the shitter as well as one of their own is a addict and his feelings that are starting to increase towards Everly. Everly wants to run, she thinks she brought all the recent killing and hardship down on the club and wants to run even if there is a target on her back.

I was pulled right into this story. The story has laughs, betrayal, pain, and heartbreak.
This is more of Everly and Talon’s story. Talon is trying to control things in the MC after he took out someone. With him and Layne both vying for the president spot they both need to clean up some of the members. With Talon still messing with other woman Every wonders why he can’t just have her and only her. She wants to run as she believes that all the problems that Talon is facing is all because of her.
I recommend this book and can’t wait for the next one.

This story starts right where the 1st left off. The drama continues to evolve between Talon his club and Layne and of course Everly. These characters make more sense to me now and I'm enjoying the rollercoaster ride of sex, drugs, club business. There are so many struggles, and I'm addicted to see just what happens next. Highly recommend you get this serial!

I'm not sure if I liked Talon or Everly as much in this part. He's getting a hand job from some girl, and she is still wanting Layne. But overall the story is good, and very engaging. You want to know what's going to happen next.

Everly frustrates me. She makes decisions and stays at the club at the expense of herself and her dignity. I don't get it. With that said, I like the series and will continue to be frustrated by Everly for sure. :)

This was a good second book to the series. The characters are coming together better. There is some sexual content and violence in it. Looking forward to reading the next one!
