Final Space: The Final Chapter
The epic conclusion to the international hit animated series Final Space.
This is the final chapter.
The universe is dying. Invictus, an ancient, light-consuming force, has finally broken free from Final Space. Stars are collapsing. Worlds are disappearing. And standing against the end of everything is a found family too stubborn, too broken, and too determined to quit.
Gary Goodspeed and Team Squad are out of time. One final mission remains: destroy Invictus and save the universe.
Explosive sci-fi spectacle collides with heart-wrecking emotion in a story over a decade in the making.
It’s funny. It’s wild. It’s painful. It’s hopeful. It’s everything Final Space has ever been ― turned up to eleven.
Lightfold into one last time.

Wow wow wow I can’t believe it has finally come to an end. I’ve been following this adventure since it began and it’s bittersweet to see it end. But I could not be more grateful to finally get a conclusion to this amazing space opera of an adventure. See you in the stars ✨

May 21, 2026From cover to cover, this was hands down the best and most exciting graphic novel I’ve read ALL year! As a diehard final space fan, this novel beautifully ties up the story and the characters, in a narratively compelling way that aspiring authors everywhere will ADORE! I’ve never read a book that when I was finished, I had to get up and pace around the room to get out all the energy and excitement that a story gave me. Not only is it bittersweet, but it’s just the right amount where it’s not too depressing and hard to get through. Olan Rogers is the master of the story verse and anyone would be damn lucky to work with a writer of his expertise. To the “”creative”” executives who wouldn’t give him their time, eat your goddamn heart out. Olan Rogers has bested you again!
See you in the stars!

Chookity! What a ride! I'm a puddle of tears and also feel so empty right now. Don't touch me.
Storywise 4 out 5 stars but the art is seriously so crisp and popping goddamn and the added music made everything 100000000x more emotional so 6 out 5 stars. Also I love this bunch of characters so much.
I'm so happy and grateful Olan Rogers was able to finish Final Space after Warner Brothers fucked him over with a garbage truck. He had his team made such a amazing work making this comic book come alive.

May 21, 2026I’ve been following the story of Final Space since 2019, and to this very day it has carried me through my life with curiousity, and courage. I’ve never experienced a story like this one, so full of heart and jam-packed with love.
This book perfectly captures the essence of Final Space. Every page, every line, every word. It made me laugh, cry, and remember, “Hope comes in the blink of an eye.” And as long as you push forward, stick together, you can accomplish anything. Thank you for everything - See you in the stars ⭐️

May 21, 2026It’s everything I’ve wanted out of Final Space and the perfect ending the show never got. I wouldn’t change a thing about this book. Olan Rogers does the impossible yet again

11/10 The art is beautiful. The added soundtrack was great. I waited SO LONG for the conclusion to Final Space and am so happy to finally have it. Even though this show deserved a proper animated ending, I am glad Olan was able to push through in creating the graphic novel.

May 21, 2026THE BEST EVER!!! SIMPLY A WONDER, I'm not exaggerating, the story is very good, you're in tune with everything that happened before thanks to the good summary and this graphic novel is simply a masterpiece.

The circumstances in which this graphic novel came to be was not ideal, and being given the opportunity to witness how this story ends is something we are grateful for.

5 stars is too low of a rating for this book. I was there when the show started, when it was cancelled and everything in between. I preordered this book in 2023 and waiting for 3 years to get it. And it does not disappoint. An amazing story. Emotional depth like you won’t believe. Some of the best comic book art I’ve seen. Words can’t say enough. Thanks Olan for an amazing ride.

A great ending to the series. So glad the story was able to conclude, even through everything it went through. Keeps the humour and the heart. Olan made this book an experience, adding in QR codes to soundtrack music, extras in the back, upcoming comic PDFs, and links to videos of him speaking about the book.
Excited to see him at the book signing!

This graphic novel is the best! Highly recommend! My favorite one so far! I love how the characters stand out and the story made me so emotional. I am sad that this is the finale of Final space, but this finale was the best way to end of a show that definitely deserves more attention and seasons!

Olan, we thank you.
This book was such a joy to read. It was funny, beautiful, heart-wrenching, encouraging, and absolutley pure. About redemption, forgiveness, friendship, family, and love.
For someone who got such a bad hand in the life of Hollywood, Olan has fought ‘tooth and nail’ to see his project given the life it deserves. It deserves so much more, but this book… this book captures its essence perfectly!
The Final Chapter is a prime example on what passionate artists and creatives strive to do against an industry that doesn’t care. Yet Olan did it with his heart offered, bleeding and messy, and put out on the table in the best way he could think of. And, in my opinion, achieved success. The art, the soundtrack to read along to, the story, and the characters were perfect.
Thank you for completing the story, for giving us Final Space back against all odds. Thank you for showing us that the struggle can be worth it. Because this book was incredible and worth the fight.
Chookity-pok!

WALL OF TEXT ALERT XD
I discovered Final Space around 2020 when it was still on Netflix; someone important to me recommended it, so I gave it a watch. Honestly, from the very beginning, I fell in love with everything—especially Gary. I absolutely loved his personality, the way he loves so intensely and is willing to lay down his life for others; I really identified with him, and he’s become one of my favorite "comfort characters." The moment Avocato showed up with the bounty hunters was when I knew I was hooked—I was completely fascinated by it all. I’m usually the type of person who doesn't get hooked on things very quickly, so it was strange when it actually happened, haha; I think it’s one of the few series I’ve truly connected with. Anyway, I’ve watched the show about 7 or 8 times. I love the character dynamics (especially Gary, Avocato, and LC—they’re my favorites and I adore them), and I loved *everything* about it: the aesthetic, the comedy, the style—everything. When I found out it was cancelled, I felt awful—I almost cried, and... honestly, I lost hope. But when the announcement came that a novel was being made, I was *so* happy. Even then, I didn't have high hopes because I thought getting it would be nearly impossible (since I live in Mexico), and I honestly drifted away from the fandom for that reason. But this year—I don't know what happened—I suddenly remembered my love for *Final Space* and somehow managed to get the book (thanks to my parents; I love them so much). And honestly, the day it arrived, I told myself, "Nah, I'll just read a little bit and that's it," but I ended up finishing it in one sitting. I barely slept and felt terrible the next day, but the way it made me feel in that moment... it really moved me. I loved Gary and Avocato's arcs—I think they had the most development—and wow, I loved it. I knew I was going to cry, and I definitely did. It was worth every fucking peso.
Honestly, you can really see and feel the love that went into making this novel; the art is—wow—absolutely stunning, and the soundtrack goes without saying—it’s a gem that made the whole experience so much more immersive. I truly loved it; there was a moment when I was at university listening to the soundtrack and almost cried from the emotion and the feelings conveyed by the music. If you’re a Final Space fan and really want to know how the story ends—seriously, if you get the chance—pick it up. You can also really tell how much effort and affection Olan poured into this project, and that’s something you can feel on every single page. :,)

This was one of the most thrilling, skyrocketing, mind bottling, interstellar reads that I’ve ever got to set my eyes upon! 🤩
Final Space : The Final Chapter is a cinematic masterpiece that combines together both eye popping Art, the heartfelt Music, and its most extraordinary writing bring us all back into the world of HBO’s lost treasure Final Space, giving its creator Olan Rodger a chance to give his series its last and final story in his way with his own voice.
He fought like hell to give his story the conclusion he wanted to give even with the show being canceled and having Warner Bros taking the rights of his own show because of a Tax Merger, even when it was over he still wanted to fight to at least have something out there for his fans who were there since day one.
He still wanted his fans to have something in return for being there with him all the years so he decided since the series would never get its animated conclusion, he took upon himself thinking of other ways to bring it back just for one more ride… a Graphic Novel.
He spent 3 years working on getting it out there to folks with all his blood, sweat and tears in all his update videos on twitter and all his other social medias, you can see how much he wanted it to become a reality… and here we are today 🥹🫶
Olan Rodger’s and Jake Sidwell wrote a compelling and truly heartfelt conclusion along with their creative producers Ben Bjelajac and Mathew Medney who all worked so fabulously on the unforgettable conclusion that you could feel something truly magical had just happened as you read through its bountiful paragraphs that will leaves Final Space fans satisfied and wanting MORE!
When you read this book, you will be amazed with array of color, insane amounts of action and yes… lots of delicious cookies from the QR codes that are hidden in its pages😋🍪
From the beautiful visuals from lead Art Director Daz Tibbles taking the hats of making a truly remarkable masterpiece that speaks much louder than words with his eye for creative expression and giving the book and its characters their souls back to life in the graphic novel.
Along with its Inkers and Colourist Noah Ruff, Chiara Iacobelli, Val Alloro, Joe Jaro, Giuliana Malfa Giovanna La Pietra, Luca Gagliasso (The Money Jab) and Nicole E Rodrigues who worked with daringness, cut edge and raw passion to give color and life into its pages.
You’ll be able to read through all the chapters with its music soundtrack by Jake Sidwell, Andrew Goodwill and David Josh to follow through the story having its readers listen to the incredible cosmic journey as their pulled back into the world of the series.
This story has so much heart, soul and it brings you back to its destination roots of witty humor that will bring you a smile on your face.
I know what you're thinking… WHY WASN’T THIS A SEASON OR A THEATICAL SPECIAL?! THIS IS FAR TOO GRAND TO BE A BOOK! Hahaha! XD
But you know Final Space is just one of those things that was always meant to stand out with its bold stance even if it’s an animated series or a graphic novel, this book is to those who feel that they can relate in some way from its characters and that they feel less alone in and brings everyone all together from hope, lots of heart and family.
The story since the beginning of season 1 was always about a boy and his pet dog. like all of us we all have to let our animals go one day and say goodbye… now like everyone, even me now has followed the journey of Olan's galactic Sci-fi masterpiece has to say goodbye to the series in its thrilling conclusion.
And i have to say... it was worth everything and so much more.
So start your engines, boot up the systems, bake some cookies and get ready for a truly wonderfully stellar cosmic ride that will be unforgettable. This book deserves 5 stars and more! … or maybe 5 cookies and more! 🚀💚🍪✨

I'm a later addition to the Final Space hype show. I started watching in 2022 with my sister, we watched Season 3 as it was added to HBO Max. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for the next season's reveal. And then it never happened. Heartbroken at the news, I retreated to social media, where I found Olan and the bustling fandom active on Twitter. (I will die choking on a jar of mayo before I call that site "X". AND I HATE MAYO.) I posted fanart and made friends and DMed part of a DnD campaign based on the universe and events of Final Space. I speculated about unfinished plotlines and wrote my own "screw WBD, I'll make my OWN Final Space, let's see them cancel THIS!" novel.
And then The Final Chapter was announced, and I was on board immediately. Waited with bated breath (don't worry, I didn't bate it the whole time), bought three copies separately--one for my sister, who introduced me to the show--and read it the SECOND I knew I'd have a day free.
Guys...the graphic novel is an EXPERIENCE. Pay attention to those QR codes and have your headphones handy, because the music really adds to the atmosphere.
My favorite characters, growing as people. The jokes, LANDING. The desperation, oh so real. I could not put it down to save my life--okay, maybe for a few minutes here and there to yell about it with my friends, but it was right back in my hands the second I was done yelling.
Not to mention, I had a couple of theories about the cold-opens before each part and about the involvement of the Lord Commander. I was right about both, but not quite in the way I expected, and I am sooooo happy about that. I love when a story lays itself out so I can see its future but not so much I see everything.
The art was FANTASTIC. Daz Tibbles and crew did a masterful job bringing this work to life. A little jealous I didn't get to work on it, but honestly, that's a good thing. I would've held this behemoth back from its true form and that would have been a sin.
I have not yet read the extra chapters, but I plan to do that sometime in the next few weeks. (Very busy lol)
Beautiful work, tied up my favorite show in a gorgeous bow, and I'm going to love keeping this work of art on my shelf just to reread whenever I need a pick-me-up. Thank you, Olan, this was phenomenal, and I'm eagerly awaiting your next venture!

Netflix cancellò "The Final Space" proprio sul rush finale, privando i suoi fan dell'ultima stagione.

I just finished the novel in its entirety a few minutes ago. I've waited to see the end of Final Space for three years now. Longer than that actually. I discovered the show back in 2020. Just as the pandemic was happening. During a time where we were all uncertain, scared, and lonely. But Final Space helped me get through all that. Because of this show, I felt hopeful that things were going to be ok. I became a part of a community of artists and fellow fans of the show who would become my friends. And then the show was cancelled a year later. And to add salt to the wound, WB erased the show as a tax write-off. But even then I didn't lose hope. Because Olan didn't. I had faith that he could find a way to get the ending out to us, despite all odds. Because that's what Final Space is all about. Trying even when there's no way of hoping. Salvation comes in the blink of an eye. And sure enough...we got the novel! And it was well worth the wait! Seeing these characters one last time was like seeing family members after a long absence. And Olan, Dad, Andrew, Jake, and everyone who contributed to this beautiful and heartwrenching conclusion delivered in the best way possible. From the gorgeous artwork, the moving musical score, the thoughtful shout outs to fans who are no longer with us. I am beyond grateful to all of you for bringing this endidng to us when it looked like all hope was lost. Although it was not the ideal conclusion to be placed in the form of a single graphic novel, it was still a phenomenal conclusion nonetheless. Olan worked with the best of what he was given. And that's good enough for me. I can't wait to see what projects Olan has in the future, and I will faithfully wait and see as I have done for this novel.
See you in the stars. 🌟

I would say The Final Chapter lives up to the hype.
For one thing, I don’t recommend reading it with the book directly under your face. Several moments are emotional enough to leave readers in tears, and you may end up with wet pages.
Thanks to its extensive recap of the animated series, the graphic novel works as both a standalone story for newcomers and a grand finale for longtime fans of Final Space. The experience constantly pulled me between despair and hope with every chapter. As someone who watched the show, I could still hear the characters’ personalities in every line, even though I could no longer hear their voices.
As a longtime fan, however, I had to prepare myself for the reality that some character arcs would be cut short. The show was never intended to end as abruptly as it did. Yet despite having to discard several storylines like cannon-fodder spaceships in a final battle, The Final Chapter succeeds in bringing meaningful closure to most of its central characters.
Any narrative threads that may seem confusing are not a reflection of poor writing but rather the result of the difficult circumstances surrounding the series’ cancellation. Olan Rogers was tasked with cleaning up a massive cliffhanger while working within the limitations of a single graphic novel. His efforts to salvage what was left and provide a satisfying conclusion are both commendable and remarkably effective.
Overall, The Final Chapter stands as a testament to Olan’s perseverance in the face of circumstances he never deserved. More importantly, it gave longtime fans like myself a sense of peace and closure. I sincerely hope this book makes enough waves to carry Olan toward new creative opportunities, because he deserved far better than the hand he was dealt.

I don't think I have read or will own a book as unique as this one. The author's note at the end of the book says it all. Not the ending we wanted but an ending we are glad to have received. I was a fan of the show when a friend introduced me to it right before the pandemic. I watched all 3 seasons at least three times finding it wherever I could online before it was lost forever. The show was equal parts absurd humor, ambitious sci-fi fantasy adventure, and epic! It goes hard in every direction. The humor is in your face to the point of being too silly for a story about the end of the universe. The emotional moments are intense and heavy. But it works! It all balances itself out because you can feel the human heart beating behind this story. If you never watched the show, you will probably still enjoy this book. There's a bit of a recap of the 3 seasons before you jump into the meat of this final part of the story. I've only dabbled in graphic novels before so I can't compare much. Do other graphic novels have soundtracks to play while you read via QR codes on the pages?? (I really hope that becomes a regular thing in other books, because it was so cool). Do other sci-fi fantasy books have cookie recipes you can make?? (My wife and I tried the cookies, they're so good! Don't question the ingredients, they just work!). Maybe one day we'll get this show online somewhere. Or a dvd will be released. Maybe this book will be reprinted and expanded upon. Until then, if you find a copy or can still order one online, you'll own something very special. See you in the stars. Chookity Pok!

Absolutely phenomenal novel from beginning to end.
EVERY. SINGLE. PAGE. is breath-taking enough to stare at for hours. When you pair it with the soundtrack, it’s so immersive that it almost feels like you could get lost in it. The story had me on the edge of my seat CONSTANTLY. It’s full of so much love, emotion, action, and heartbreak. The humor from the show is still there, but not too much… Just enough. Every character arc was developed and concluded in the best way they possibly could, given the limitations. Many of the issues I had with the show were revisited and salvaged. To call it a masterpiece, I’m sure many would disagree, but it was a masterpiece to me.
I have no critiques. It’s amazing what you can accomplish with full creative control and no network interference. Despite the obstacles it faced, I think this graphic novel might be the most cohesive and satisfying installment to the overall story, and that really just goes to show how much it was held back during its run on TV. Because my God, Olan Rogers can WRITE when he doesn’t have to worry about his ideas being shot down or having control taken from him at any moment. I only wish such an amazing feat could have been shown in all of its animated glory.
Now, I’m just heartbroken that it’s over. Honestly I’m still in disbelief. I’ve been anxiously awaiting (and simultaneously dreading) this day for 3 years, but words can’t describe how grateful I am to have even gotten a conclusion to this unforgettable story. And what a fantastic finale it was.

After the long wait the book finally reached my hands, i asked my mail woman if that was the package i had been waiting for and she said yes.
I opened it with my apartment buddies stuck around for a bit, then immediately went home and read. due to my lack of eye hand coordination i fouldnt find every music qr code but i just couldnt stop reading. the cold opens were especially emotional, so much so that gary said goodbye to KVN lol. Avacato and Little Catos dual arc was also quite nuanced and filled with ALOT of meat and potatoes. so intresting to see Lil C all grown up like in the time shard episode except more sane lol Quinn was also fun to see one last time, to see her step into a leader role.
Rip Sheryl.. i just adored her character on my rewatch lmao. but it fit for her character. such a wonderful way to close her story and reunite her with john.
Ash and Gary were prob the most intresting parts to me however.. iin the part of Ashs Redemption.. in a way.. its also a redemption for Gary... not that he had done as bad as her but they were redeeming eachother in eachothers eyes.
Mooncake probably has the second most satisfying cobclusion to me in the whole novel.. buut i wont spoil that.
through the three years of me waiting i can only imagine what it was like behind the scenes. SCREW YOU IN DESIGN!!
However im glad its in my hands now
THE AMMOUNT OF LOVE CARE AND EFFORT THE BIG O PUT INTO THIS IS UNMATCHED!! <3

I’m breathless. Utterly breathless. The visuals are stunning, each page is a symphony of emotions. The story is incredible, the best possible finale for fans of the show. You feel for everyone in the book and will be left speechless at how hard each chapter hits you. I couldn’t put down the book when I got my copy. I was so immersed in the story that I had to keep going until the end! I laughed, I cried, I held my breath in anticipation. It was like watching the show, each chapter truly felt like a tv episode. This is a graphic novel that everyone needs to read.
The best thing about this graphic novel to me is the message at the end from Olan himself. I could hear his joy, heartbreak, and hopefulness in each sentence, as if he was speaking to me. Olan, and every other creator of the arts, deserves so much more of our love and support, especially from the “higher ups.” Reading his message showed me just how important our creativity is, and how we must cherish and nourish it. The people in the “boss” chair need to be reminded that creating art is hard work, whether it is writing, acting, painting, animating, and every other aspect that goes into creating our favorite medias. Every artist in every industry deserves their highest respect and proper pay. They are the beating hearts of the industry, what makes the shows, movies, music, video games, and books we indulge in so magical. The artists are the magic.
Thank you Olan, for this incredible gift.

This series made me feel very immersed in the story. I could have a good time with my dad on days when he wasn't having terrible times as I was growing up. I remember stopping when Gary's mother appeared because we stopped using streaming services, but when I started watching it again, it felt so good. It wasn't tiring to watch again; I could watch it thousands of times without getting tired of it. I could learn the dialogue by heart without even thinking about it.
To read the novel, I decided to rewatch the series with my boyfriend. I loved his reactions every time we finished an episode. I loved leaving him with a cliffhanger for the next season, until season 3, when I simply told him there was nothing more. He told me he felt very confused by the whole story but that he felt he had seen something incredible.
I wanted to read the novel alone, so I'd have more time to pause when needed, and to listen to the soundtrack that was created as you read. Every emotion I felt while reading felt so real. I could feel the hard work behind this book. It had the perfect ending and the perfect development; it was the best I could have hoped for in a finale and so much more, but it still made me cry because of how beautiful it was. I wish I could lend this book to my partner so they could read it too and enjoy it as much as I did.
If my memory were erased and I had the chance to watch the series and read this novel again, I would do it without hesitation.

Man. I wish I could give this book 5 stars. I have been waiting ~3 years for this like many others and it delivers a very satisfying narrative. Yet the whole time I was waiting for it to really hit. Seeing Olan's spoiler pages on his twitter really built up anticipation and some of the dialogue changes from that original version I think were for the worse. I am a big fan of Biskit as a character and I am incredibly pleased with how much he got to do this book, but I think he is a great example of what I struggle with here. Every season of the Final Space TV show would choose a group of characters and let you deeper into their internal thoughts. Season 1 gave you a lot with Gary and HUE, Season 2 devoted episodes to Ash and Lil Cato, and then Season 3 gave Quinn and Avocato more of a spotlight. It's hard for me to think of any character who I understood on a deeper level after reading this book. For as good as the spectacle was it feels like the story itself is still significantly rushed. I think most if not all of my problems with the finale would be resolved with a final 13 episode season. I need those quiet moments. I need those slow moments. The skeleton is solid, I just wish that this had more meat on it's bones.

It’s been one heck of a ride. Is this the most expensive book I’ve ever bought? Yes. Yes it is. Is it worth every penny? Absolutely.
Found the show many years ago and was gutted when it was cancelled due to Hollywood being too business centric and stupid (especially on that cliffhanger of season 3!! How could you stop a show on that ending??)
But then three years ago, Mr Olan Rogers, the GOAT that you are, you showed the fans that you weren’t done fighting until you got an end. And it has been an absolute pleasure to wait these almost three years for this Final Chapter.
Thank you for your blood, sweat and tears, for your will, your heart and soul, that you have poured into this graphic novel, and the show, over all these years.
Thank you for showing us, not only in the show and novel, but in life, that an ending or a failure doesn’t mean that it’s over and we should lose hope. Final Space shows us that there are always solutions, that there’s always a reason to fight for what’s important, for the people who matter most to us. That “salvation comes in the blink of an eye”.
If you even read this review, know that you have a whole community behind you, “it’s back to back, for life!”

Where do I even start with this novel? Final Space was, and still is, a show that changed my life. And after it was canceled, I was unsure if there would ever be a conclusion to this amazing story. This graphic novel is more than just a conclusion to that story. It is a combination of blood, sweat and tears that made this story the way that it is. This novel does an excellent job at recapping the events of the 3 seasons of the show and with the final chapter being split into parts, it makes it a thrilling read from start to finish. Olan Rogers is an excellent storyteller and you will definitely want to give this novel a read. I can assure you that this book will have you laughing, crying, and even jumping up and down in excitement through the amazing art design and storytelling. Each and every character brings so much life to the story, and you'll find yourself loving every single moment of these characters stories. I simply cannot recommend this novel enough! Even when everyone thought that this story would never get an ending, just remember, "Salvation comes in the blink of an eye".

Wow.
Three years ago, my heart was shattered by the abrupt end of Final Space. But out of that darkness came a brilliant idea from its genius creator, Olan Rogers. With the support of fans who believed in his vision to finish the story in a different format, Olan delivered a finale that was more than worth the wait.
The visual presentation is absolutely gorgeous. The addition of an audio soundtrack accessed through QR codes captures an element often missing from graphic novels: music. It elevates emotional moments and makes the experience feel like one final season rather than simply a book. I was especially curious how the show's signature humor would translate to the page, but Olan put those concerns to rest within the first few pages.
This is a wild, emotional conclusion to a series that deserves all its flowers. Even though we'll never see this story realized in its original form, I'm grateful it was preserved in a different medium, one I will proudly display front and center on my bookshelf.
Now, if you'll excuse me, I'll be eating one cookie for each star this masterpiece deserves.
Chookity pok!
