Once Upon a Cowboy’s Heart

Rate this book
She never expected to see him again after that night.

A magnet for abusive relationships, Amelia has lived life on the edge ever since her first heartbreak. She drowned herself in risky things at even riskier places. She gave up on hope and love, and even threw away the one thing that made her feel painting. The feel of brush strokes against the canvas and the feel of paint on her finger tips became a distant memory.

Until one fateful night, what Amelia thought would be just another evening at the bar, another night trying to forget her pain, turned out to be a night quite the opposite.

Mathias, a cowboy from southern Tennessee, passed each day trying to ignore the solitude he felt in his core. No matter how much time he gave to helping out at his parents’ ranch or in the company of friends, it was never enough to satisfy the part of him that ached to share his sunsets with someone. But he allowed the walls around his heart to take hold ever since a tragic incident, protecting himself at all costs and putting other people before himself, even if that meant sacrificing what he wanted.

Until that night. An evening Mathias tried to numb his loneliness at the bar and ended up being the one that shattered him. Not only did he bump into the girl who stole his heart all those years ago, the same girl who still had the grips on it now, but he realized that she was broken and in desperate need of help.

When Amelia and Mathias are forced to be back in each other’s lives, will they be willing to help one another? To rekindle what they had? Are they going to continue to live in the past, or are they going to face their biggest fears and have their deepest prayers answered?

This is a No-Spice Closed Door Romance book. Where you will have all the swoony moments and all the tension without the spice. This book is also the first book in the “SweetHearts Series” but can be read in any order.

Sweet and Faith 3.5⭐️

💕This one took me by surprise from page one. Don't let the cover fool ya, you see a sweet romance but it has a lot of emotional depth to it.

💕There are tough topics in this book but they are done as a way to show healing not only by God's grace but also by finding friends and a love willing to stand with you through your mess.

💕Matthias' unconditional love gave tons of swoony, sweet moments and Amelia's faith gave growth and redemption.

Honestly wasn't expecting it to be this good. In the beginning she tells you this books will have so many mistakes and errors but all of it made the book so unique and more realistic. To me I read it like it was a journal. like the main character was writing her story and telling it to you. And the Christian aspect to you like my testimony was small before this but this book like made it grow so much. I will in fact be re reading this again and again.
