This book was the worst.
The. Absolute. Worst.
But I'm not wishing bedbugs on the author, so I'll settle on rating this story 1.5 really pitiful stars.
Mari is our female lead. She's supposedly responsible (LIE), mature (LIE), stubborn (Truth), and professional (LIE).
I'll tell you about the real Mari. She's whiney, immature, irresponsible, too stupid to live, and she acts like an entitled five-year-old. She throws things at the people protecting her when she's angry. She doesn't have any common sense and keeps trying to run headlong into danger. She hates the MMC for keeping her safe and literally argues for her right to be unsafe—to actually die on her own terms—instead of being protected in a penthouse. Mari is the absolute worst part of this book, and I am currently wishing all kinds of nasty fictional consequences on her.
Lev barely has a personality, and what little he does have is completely flat. There is zero—absolutely none—relationship development. However, that's kinda understandable because I don’t know how Lev could stand to be around Mari anyways. She’s insufferable.
Almost the entire book is all telling and zero showing. It's also filled to the brim with internal narration or internal monologues. That type of narration is stupid and boring.
The spice was sparse. I think there were maybe two very short, blink-and-you-miss-it sex scenes.
Anyway, this book was dumb. I disliked it immensely. Save yourself the time and skip it.

The Heart Wants What it Wants -
When Mari and Lev had their one night stand and went their separate ways, there wasn’t meant to be any further interactions between them. However, fate had other ideas in store for Mari and Lev, as she walked into her new job on the first day to discover her one night stand was her new boss. Lev tried everything possible to maintain a professional relationship with Mari, but the memories of their night together kept replaying on his mind.
Even though Lev tried to keep Mari from his Bratva life , she soon found herself drawn into that part of his life when her life was threatened. Lev took it upon himself to try to keep Mari safe, but her stubbornness made it quite difficult, especially when she discovered her life was about to change and tried to escape. Unfortunately, just as Lev managed to convince Mari to stay, she finally uncovered the information he was searching for, but she was kidnapped before she could give it to him.
Luckily, Lev did everything possible to rescue Mari and swiftly dealt with the perpetrator, which gave them a chance to get back on track towards the family life they wanted. This absolutely fantastic story was a highly entertaining read, that drew me in from the beginning and left me unable to take a break until I reached the end. For any avid romance reader looking for a worthwhile book that will keep you totally engrossed from the first page until you read the final word, then look no further than this book.

What a spicy addition to the Sinful Mafia Daddies Series where Lev a CEO and Pakhan has a night to remember with a young woman, Mari at at club. Come Monday Mari starts her job as a Forensic Accountant only to discover her mystery man is the owner of the company. Lev is an alpha man who believes women are a weakness and lets Mari know it won’t happen again. Only problem with that was Lev was already spending time thinking about Mari. When Mari discovers some inconsistencies in the files she becomes aware of some shady dealings and gets an unexpected visit by the FBI. It doesn’t take long for enemies to come their way and Lev to takes things further with Mari and doing what is necessary to keep her safe. Danger, suspense, intrigue, finding trust in secrets, romance that brings a surprise that’s worth fighting for at all cost! Forbidden Boss is a spicy story. It is well-written and has a great plot.
Mari is finally finished with school and looking forward to her new job. She goes to a club with a friend and there she meets Lev. She is very attracted to him and they spend a night together. When she shows up for her new job on Monday she is surprised to see Lev is her boss. She has the position of being his assistant.

One of the best of the genre
If this is a genre you enjoy, you’ll love this book. The relationship develops over time. Of course, it starts with the usual reminder that the Bratva Pathan doesn’t do relationships and the feisty FMC is just letting off steam after studying so hard and as a reward for landing a plum job. It’s easy to believe that the chemistry is there and the feelings develop naturally over some, albeit brief, time. This one also has tension, mafia, betrayal (not between the main characters) and a HEA. Smut-lite so even those with tender sensibilities won’t blush too much.

Mari lands the job of her dreams and goes to celebrate with her friend. When an older man takes an interest in her it leads to an intimate encounter only for her to learn on her first day of work, he is the boss. They clash in a big way because to sparks are still high between them and tie in the fact that he is the Bratva Pakhan and you have a thrilling story filled with action-packed drama with sizzling characters that kept me glue dot the pages.

Mari was out celebrating a new job and had one steamy night with Lev. Lev is a Bratva Pakhan and Mari's new boss. Not only does she find out he's her new boss, but she finds out someone is stealing from the company, putting her life in danger. This is a steamy, forbidden office romance filled with mystery, danger, suspense, and more. The writing is well done, the characters are well developed, and the ending is great. Forbidden Boss is a steamy addition to the Sinful Mafia Daddies series. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

At last a book with a brilliant story instead of just fluff filled pages of sex
Liked this book because it was all about a fantastic story line and mainly behind closed doors sex instead of filling the book with pages and pages of unnecessary in depth sex details repeatability. Finally a author who understands that a good book storyline cares more interest than just repeated unnecessary sex. If all of this authors books are similar in vain stories lines, then you have gained a fellow reader.

After Mari spends an unforgettable passionate night with Lev, she finds out Lev is a Bratva Pakhan, her new boss, and when she finds large sums of money missing in his account and an FBI agent sniffing around, Marri tells Lev. Read the highly recommended, wonderfully written full of mystery and intrigue, and another must read riveting love story by the phenomenal author, Natasha L. Black.

I absolutely love this book. The action just pulls you in and it's so detailed that you get caught binging because you can't wait to see what happens and how it will end.
Lev owns Levcon where Mari just accepted a job. Little did she know that she had a one-night stand with the owner and her new boss. And little did Mari know that Lev is also a Russian mob boss.
This was such a great read, and a total must for your TBR.

So Good, Loved it!!
Loved, Loved reading Forbidden Boss. This book was so freaking good I couldn’t put it down because I was hooked from the very beginning of this book. Mari and Lev’s story was action packed with so many twist and turns and the chemistry between them was steamy HOT. Loved their story!!

This was so interesting to go from a one-night stand to working for the guy she slept with. To becoming the woman he can't live without. I loved how this FMC challenged this MC all the way through and kept him on his toes. And with doing that they both find they can't live without each other. The chemistry is spicy and the action is non-stop. I enjoyed this book quite a bit.

This book has it all- deception, mystery, steam, bratva, unexpectedness and more. The main characters are spicy together and witty and will make you laugh at times. Trying to figure out the mystery before it was revealed was fun too.

This book was brilliant I loved how feisty Mari was, she didn't take anything lying down. I enjoyed the story and I didn't see who the bad guy was which was a nice surprise.

I get annoyed when FMC in mafia romances don’t take the man seriously when he says being with him puts her in danger and proceeds to try and fight against having protection. Like have you no value for your life??

Very exciting story that plunges the reader into a rollercoaster of emotions. Non stop action and more passion than you could ask for. Once I was past the 1st quarter of the book, I could not put it down.

Mari has been on her own for quite some time. Now that she's finally done with school and has gotten her dream job as a forensic accountant, she goes out with her friend to a club and ends up having a one-night stand with a man she thinks is beyond gorgeous. He controls his space and has a commanding presence about him. When she goes in for her first day of work guess who her boss is, you got it, Lev, her one night stand is the CEO of her new company. This is the start of a good mafia romance with some good twists and turns that keep you reading to the last page.
